Listen...I don't have a problem with the change necessarily. I just think every change is driving nostalgia away and forcing IP in. I'm just not sure how I feel about not having the "adult" jokes or "Blood on the Saddle" anymore. I have little doubt that just like with everything else, I will eventually accept it and learn to love it...Albeit just a little bit differently than I did the original. That said...They better not EVER change or "update" Carousel of Progress!! I don't want a new end scene, I don't want a new narrator, I don't care that his hand is falling off!! I just want to escape the heat, grab a quick AC power nap and sing "Its a Great Big Beautiful Tomorrow" like I always have through every rotation.
This update was honestly at CofP level for me. I was really concerned. Honestly though, it made me realize just how bad an update was needed. Especially to the sound system. Thankfully they did a decent job on this, even without Big Al’s iconic song. It does give me an idea for a shirt though!
love your comment about disney changing. i feel they are changing and im not liking the direction they are heading. but did enjoy the Bear show ;)
