The smoking fiddle is such a nice touch, the new animatronics are so fluid im so glad this attraction didn't get destroyed

This is the most respectful retheme I have ever seen. The show was a classic and needed help. They honored what they had and brought the tech up to speed without changing the mood of the show. I love it. People who don't like this upgrade are the ones who don't like any changes at all and will reject everything.
They didn’t even give Ernest a voice and all of the song choices are mostly random

I'll miss the old show forever, but I think this is ultimately a more kid-friendly re-theme and I'm chuckling very, very much at Big Al.
Admittedly, I loved the old show and didn't want o like this one...Big Al saved it for me though. I still have videos of the old show to enjoy!

Well done! As an oldster who's been visiting Magic Kingdom since the 70's, the parks do need to get an occasional change to keep them 'fresh' for the upcoming generations. We can't keep it like a museum, just because that's how WE like to see it.
"used to play with the Mineral Kings" -- this is a cool reference to the ski resort Walt tried to build in the Sierra Nevada. The country bears jamboree was originally dreamt up as apres entertainment for the resort. It was blocked by the Sierra Club.
I love how the heart and soul of the show is still there. It has Disney IP songs to attract the newer audience but the quirky show we all love still lives on. Congrats to the team at WDI. I just don't get how they can do such a great job with this and screw up TBA so bad.
Glad they've kept this attraction. It's a great place to sit, cool off and be entertained

After all the changes and additions I'm not interested in, here's something I want to go back to WDW to see.
I loved this. I loved all the Disney Songs too, because well isn't that what everyone is at the park for? It is a perfect update. Also with the new animatronics and technology added, I think new shows can easily be updated from time to time. You could have specific holiday shows, or even program multiple shows throughout the day that give people a new show every time so they come back. Bravo Disney! You knocked this one out of the park.
Hoping Disney does some holiday overlays again with the bears! Japan does them, so why not this version as well?
I just see the guy who does the Rock-a-Fire Explosion videos. I figure if he could do that with that ancient AA Tech, I would imagine this is being refurbished for just that. Fingers crossed.
Some of the songs in the Christmas show were copyrighted. Maybe they can redo the Christmas show with a mix of Disney songs and public domain Christmas songs.

i dont even listen to country but these arrangements are fire. well done.
All I have heard is complaining. People need to be happy that they didn’t scrap the entire thing. Yes it needed to be updated. I personally like it

Bro it’s because most true fans didn’t think it needed a change because it was already perfect. This new show doesn’t even compare to the original masterpiece
The new songs are random and don’t really fit in with the country bears
As a big fan of the original, i was really sad to see it go and the idea of the disney songs made me really nervous. However, this show is great! I think the music works really well, I like that theyve kept the interstitial talking amongst the cast, all the figures and effects are working better than ive ever seen them. Its so nice to see!
Whoa, the return of the Country Bears, performing their versions of classic and modern Disney songs! They ought to have an album of their own for their outstanding musical number and have a modern-age film of their own like Haunted Mansion already did.
My favorite detail is how when Big Al starts singing at the end of “the Bare Necessities” and the Sun Bonnets (I not sure if they’re called that anymore) are going down, they all look surprised to see Big Al, and one of them looks back at the others as if to say “are you seeing this?”
I don’t know, but it made the bears feel more real to me
Hahahahahahaha!!! How cuuuute!!! It's been a long time, Disneyland Days, since I've seen this show. I dont remember the songs but i know it needed some more life brought into it and it looks FABULOUS! GREAT JOB!
Wow, this is about as good as I could have hoped for. Really liked the music selection and some good jokes mixed in.
What a delightful way to pay homage to the past without being hamstrung by it for a completely new audience. I love this. They nailed it.
I’m genuinely surprised with how much I like this! Most of the songs actually fit pretty well, and the show feels a lot more appealing to broader audiences. Country music is definitely an acquired taste, and I feel like that’s why the original version got such low crowds it on my next visit!
This was really fun! I think they should make some more songs and then insert them in randomly like the scenes in Star Tours. This would make the show more re-watchable.
Went and saw it with my son last night and the little guy absolutely lost his mind trying to clap along the whole show, then didn't want to leave... I don't care what anyone says, that's what it's all about. A+++
That was BEYOND fantastic! All the picks were absolute bangers, it was full of some really solid jokes, and all in all, they nailed it! They understood what made the original so special, and updated it for a modern audience. THIS is how it’s done!
I was worried like many, but they did good on this one!!! How amazing would it have been if they managed to work a couple Splash Mountain animatronics into the show? Imagine The Swamp Boys (gator trio) popping up to accompany one of the bears! That would have taken this redo to the next level!!
I was thinking the exact same thing! This is what they should have done with Splash Mountain, just updated a few animatronics and a few songs and that would have been perfect. Oh well, hopefully they’ve learned their lesson. 🤷🏾♀️
All in all, good job. Only 2 things I wish were different:
1) Keep the Bear Band Serenade - easily the most memorable of the old tracks, and a good introduction to boot
2) I Can Show You the World didn’t work for me and I imagine many others would agree.
This is a fantastic refresh! The ONLY thing I don't love is the use of Disney IP songs, but even then, they're done in theme and they fit the show well enough. The use of "Remember Me" for Big Al was especially fun. The bears have never moved better! Sammy's little wiggle as they sing is so cute.

I am absolutely THRILLED at the reimagining of this attraction and I laughed so hard I was in tears as Big Al sang Remember Me. LOL Man I wish this was coming back to Disneyland. I miss the Country Bears so much. Great job Imagineers! You made this country bear fan super happy.
100% agree! ...and to replace the Bears with such a crappy version of the Pooh ride, what an insult.
What made it funnier was that Big Al must have been emotionally distraught by the fact that he can't sing "Blood on the Saddle" anymore
@@matthewweikert20 Hate to break it to you, but these are programmed animatronics, I'm sure it didn't bother the ol' country bear that they changed his song. But I applaud your use of imagination...
I am really impressed with the update and that we now have bear tech on par with what's at Tokyo Disneyland, however I still think that they could have kept a few songs from the original show like Ol Slew Foot, Blood on the Saddle, and the original song Henry sings when introducing the bear jamboree. Personally I would have swapped some of the IP songs for other Disney songs that don't get a lot of play in the parks esp since you have Philharmagic so close by. I think Trixie could have sung "Lavender Blue" (from "So Dear My Heart and as recently as the 2015 Cinderella), or "When Somebody Loved Me" from Toy Story 2 for Big Al (although Remember Me was really great), "On My Way" from BROTHER BEAR, Ballad of John Henry (to replace Davey Crockett, since the show is in Frontierland.
Very entertaining just on video, so must be great fun in person. Have seen the old show a few times over the years, and this is just as good.
It's positive that they refreshed the Bears, but the song selection is terrible and the execution is cringe.

This is fantastic! I was very hesitant on this but the updated look is great, music is great! I hope it’s around for much longer!
Not really a fan of kiss the girl, try everything, fixer upper, and the first song, just an overall meh on most of these performances.

I will fully own up to the fact that I was a skeptic. I ADORED the original Country Bears and was devastated when I heard they were changing it. I thought I would hate it. I wanted to hate it. I was so, so, so, soooooo wrong. They knocked this out of the park.
I would like to hear a soundtrack of the show for clean audio and better sound quality

An example of a good upgrade in my opinion. I hated what they did to splash but I like what they did here.
I don't believe Splash's replacement is perfect but I believe it worth giving a fair shot.

I know this may be an unpopular opinion, because Disney has been doing A LOT things wrong lately, and as a lifelong fan I’ve been very frustrated, but I think this and Tiana are actually pretty great.
I listened to Theme Park Stop talk about the Tiana ride and they had a African American man guest star to give his perspective. He felt this was a much needed change. He and family felt represented by Disney and wanted to see more representation like this. Knowing what an impact this attraction is having on minority groups has soften my thoughts towards it, and I want to keep an open mind to when I eventually ride it one day. I believe this attraction was going to get disliked no matter if changed or not, so I think Disney made the right call about it.
Thank you finally somebody gets it. Tiana’s Bayou Adventure is great addition. And the new country bear is a great addition too.

This is a prime example of an attraction refresh. The AA’s look amazing, some of the voices are like they never changed, & the song choices are great! I just wish DL had the opportunity to see this version. Either way, I had a big smile on my face watching this. The bears Deserved this! Also, I know the topic of adding IP into the parks is a touchy one. With that said, I do feel like this is done well. The songs were arranged & recorded properly, and it’s a good way to get average guests involved & invested in the Bears with songs they can recognize.
Well, this was fun! It's way better than I thought it would be! I love the nods to the old show.
I AM SO GLAD THAT DISNEY BROUGHT THE COUNRY BEARS BACK AND NOW HAVE A NEW BRAND SHOW FOR 2024 AND THE GREAT FUTURE.

My final story, Time Shift will have a lot of country hits when my characters traverse the American Old West; Benny will perform his version of the Phineas and Ferb song, Yodel Odel Obey Me and instrumental sections of Sam Hunt: Make You Miss Me will strum when Panel Gulch is destroyed, Constitution absently continues on for California and Cassellia is presumed dead.
I was worried it was gonna be bad. I thought so negative of it until I saw the full thing. Amazing!!!

All what Disney's Country Bear Jamboree needs is Pizza, and Arcade Games, and its complete.

This is so cute!!! I never bothered with Country Bears before, except when my aunt forced us to do it, and we thought wth is this? Now, this is a fun, fresh update!!! I'm honestly looking forward to seeing this new show on my next visit!!

Actually… I am not mad at this!!! I think this upgrade actually works! It’s very contemporary and fresh but doesn’t lose that charm the first show had.
I absolutely LOVED this. It’s both fresh and new and yet so filled with the nostalgia for the original, holidays and vacation variations that they’d previously had…and Big Al is always a win.
I hope they bring out a soundtrack.
What if there were a mash-up bundle for all the Disney movies based on the Disney Park rides and attractions?
Wouldn’t it be awesome if Disney had just created a bunch of original songs for this show??
On a recent Tooned-In with Disney voice actor extrodionaire Jim Cummings, guest Bret Iwan (aka Mickey Mouse) said he auditioned for, but didn't get, a voice in the new Country Bear show (it was either Melvin or Max).

This was actually a great change. I love that all the bears are here and they found profound Disney songs for each of them to sing with country music. If I had kids I would take them to this show.
How soon until the smoke effects break and don't get fixed?

I'd give it a week, the same time it would take for a model train to lose it's smoke effect.

How Is This Considered Country Music In The Slightest
Is it an improvement over the original? Maybe not quite.
Is it an improvement over the cut version that preceded this? Honestly yeah!
Some songs felt shoehorned, while others felt natural. The three heads were used very well, while the 5 Bear Rugs for some reason BEAR-LY got any show time. The finale was fitting but not exactly grand, but the extra effects made for memorable moments!
The cheesy humor is still there for sure and the bears look and move wonderfully!
I wouldn't call it a clear 1-up but with all the pros and cons I would say it's an equal replacement to me at least, and I'm fairly satisfied! I was super scared but they eased my worries. It's a different direction but they made it work well enough, and on top of the technical enhancements it was honestly worth it.

After the “new” hub of the old Epcot’s Future World and the retheming of Splash Mountain disasters, I’m really amazed and relieved that our beloved Country Bear are back with a funny show for their repertoire! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

I hate it!...And I love it. I miss the old Country Bear Jamboree that I grew up with. However, I think they did a great job, and I love Disney music. My only real complaint is it seems short.
Seems that way but it’s roughly the same length as the show it replaced. Both around 11 minutes.
The real complaint SHOULD be the Disney Songs. Songs that you've heard 100 times over.

Well, Im glad the attraction still exists, but it lacks originality. I am not a fan of the constant plugging of Disney franchises. Hated when they did it to It's a Small World. Still hate it today.... but better than no Country Bear Jamboree, I guess

While forcing in generic disney songs was always a bad idea the music could have been salvaged if they had talented country mucisions composing the songs. The music is like a really bad over produced kids bop song that clicked "add country" to the ai song generator. There is no grit, not personality, and no actual honky tonk country in the music. Like I've said, this has the same cringe feel as those 80s VHS videos of a white suburban mom teaching the kids how to be urban and do the hip hop.
Making the queue more like Tokyo and updating the animatronics are all fantastic updates but the soulless audio the write off as music is such a slap in the face to the incredibly talented and iconic country artists they replaced. As much as I loved Country Bears, tearing it down would have been better than this. At least you can always bring headphones and just take in the visuals.
I happy that Henry looks good and his voice sound older from the original one
I love it! Such a fun show all while keeping the bears in character! Can’t wait to see this on every trip!
Honestly I didn’t mind it, and I appreciate the nods to old show. It’s a good bridge between old fans and new. The attraction needed TLC and I’m glad it finally got some
This is fantastic! They kept the soul of the attraction but still managed to breathe new life into it. Can’t wait to experience this in person.
So here’s the thing…. There isn’t a single part of this that I did not enjoy…. It’s just… not the same… I really wish some of the og songs had stayed in addition to the new Disney songs.. I miss the original opening song the most and I could have done without try everything… remember me is the best part of the new show and that part did a really good job keeping the spirit of the old show and the way I gasped out loud when I heard that first note!!!
