So doing so we can diagonally place the joystick either up-left or up-right for the reverse neutral attacks. I haven't browsed the comment section if anyone else said this, but hopefully this'll help.
3:00 On a Controller you have 2 options: Note: The idea of a Reverse Nair comes from the fact that you can use the Aim Up to "force" a neutral attack. 1- Using the Analogic Stick you can input a Diagonal Direction (Up Left/ Up Right). 2- Using the D-Pad just try pressing both the Up and the Left/Right at the same time. -> You have to do this after a CD!
You can do it on controller. you don’t hold them all at the same time you just hold forward then flick the joystick to the opposite direcion and hold up right after

Basically it's the same as on pc, it's just harder to do because of the big thumb movements in such a short timeframe. Also a small tip is to not do the third upward input and just let the stick go altogether when you're pressing the attack button and its still gonna be a nair.
When doing it on controller, I use d-pad because you can press two inputs simultaneously which makes it easier. You set your thumb across diagonally pointed away from you and roll from left-up to right-up as you do it to get the Active Input Nair

To do the forward CD into reverse Nair on controller you move your finger around (in a circle around to the diagonal (left and up on dpad) since it's by default set to prioritize neutral over side.
It took me a couple seconds to learn throw combos bc my friend told me to always use my right bumper to pick up weapons so now it’s kinda natural to do them

About the point at 3:00 It’s actually easy on controller but you need the hoot timing. Just after the forward chase dodge you place the joystick at an upper 45 degrees angle, the opposite direction of the CD. Very hard tho

To do it on controller, you have to go from right, click your dodge button and then go to top right and click attack and it inputs a nair to the right. This works with anything, say I want to do a neutral sig to the left and I am facing to the right, you just have to go to the top left and it will input neutral sig to the left.
For tjose who wanna learn reverse nair. Just cahse dodge to the direction of thd opponent, then turn around really quickly (which is the hardest to do) and nair. Takes some practice to learn and more to master

On katars you can throw dlight pickup gcslight into nlight or dlight true. You can also do it into recovery gcdlight which is a true combo. On asuri you can also do it into nsig dlight which is true.
After you dair you dodge to your opponents as you would on PC, but then flick your left analog stick immediately diagonaly up, away from your oponent and light attack at the same time, hope this was helpful. Works the same on gaunts btw, but it's really hard to get true, maybe even impossible

I do dair chasedodge nair on controller. If they dodge in, after you chase dodge you have to use nair diagonally. What I mean is instead of holding up on the analog stick to nair, Hold diagonal so that way you turn quicker

If you use a gear, like me on ps4, you can ChD to the right then quickly move the gear to the upper left corner, which allows you to do nair on the opposite side

After you do that, for some people who don't know how to have more momentum during an attack, you have Down air with scythe, then chase Dodge, but don't use a full chase dodge, cancel it with an attack. You can read the person after the Dair if you time your "canceling chase Dodge" to a nair. It will have momentum to continue with the advanced string you wanted to do. Most of all the people who can do this advanced move usually goes for the Dair-CD- AI Nair- CD Dair. You can continue the advanced string with a down air or a weapon toss for a higher Groundpound,(only for more damage it's just an additional move to nearly a death) but this is how you can do the advanced scythe string on controller. It's a difficult move for me, I mess up sometimes, but i do it like 80% of the time since I learned this a month ago.
For weapon toss- DownLight- Dair (continuing with advanced string for controller) you have to disable quick attack pick up as I think I saw in the vid, then you have to input it really fast. Weapon toss- DownLight- down air. It's easy after you get used to it and that's it I guess.
Nerf stops the momentum, so it doesnt matter now. But as a keyboard user, I can maintain the momentum without letting go of forward. I can turn around and do a nAir without stopping at all (means I travel slightly further when doing a reverse nAir)

Using controllers can be very hard, yes. But it doesn't mean its impossible. (Former Controller Player) so essentially, u dair into cd. the good thing about cd's, in general, is that it takes time. therefore u can flick the thumbstick towards him (this flicking is something that the controllers excel at, and it allows u to have a bit of time to position ur thumbstick to the next string)

It is easier w dPad, but it isn't that had w joystick either. You just have to practice very part for like 5 min and make it slowly faster each time.

Its simple neutral inputs dont require an up input you just would have to change direction quickly (ps4)

Alvo, you can do the pivot nair in white when the enemy doesnt dodge or if he dodge in you can do the same thing without chase dodge.
