The first part of the documentation, "Time of new beginnings", tells the story of actors: Elmar and Fritz Wepper, Peter Sodann, Michael Degen, Eva-Maria Hagen and the previous News Woman Wibke Bruhns. They all have one thing in common: They needed to be growing without a father. For very different reasons, but all with the result that they had to be already on their feet early.
