Monday 02/03/2025 - Daily Taps at the National WWI Memorial, Washington, D C

On this day, 02/03/25, DAILY TAPS at the National WWI Memorial in Washington, D.C. honors WWI Veterans PVT William E. Henderson and PVT John Michael Marino; two heroes of Port Washington, NY who gave their lives in Europe and are the namesakes of VFW post 1819.
Daily Taps is a program supported by donations doughboy.org/d... and managed by "The Doughboy Foundation" honoring those who have served or are serving.
It especially commemorates the 4.7 million men and women who put on an American uniform in WWI in the name of freedom and Democracy to help end a global conflict that had engulfed and ravaged the entire world.
