My grandparents were all Finnish and settled in North east Minnesota USA in the early 1910s . I appreciate seeing this part of Finland. And since moose are very prevalent in my part of Minnesota , seeing you get of the snowmobile to face a moose my eyes bulged and jaw hang open! I have had an encounter with a mother moose and her calf crossing a creek many years ago while in a canoe with 2 small boys . They are THE most dangerous animal in many northern states! you may have been fortunate because their eyesight is very poor that it didn't come at you!
