For those who don't know the context with the second clip: Texas Motor Speedway's surface was sprayed with PJ1 traction compound (the black area on the turns), which isn't compatible with IndyCar's tire compound, thus making it really hard for anyone to pass and the racing was single file most of the time. The fact that Pato O'Ward was able to make moves for the lead was a pretty significant moment for that race, as everyone thought that no one would be able to pass.
