I wish him nothing but the best in his life and I hope the child's play series for syfy gets off the ground. I asked a question at his panel at 27:02.

    I was totally waiting for someone to ask him about the remake and I love his answer without hesitation just "No" real quick 😂👏. Tbh I didn't even want to see it because I knew it was going to be horrible but by me being a Chucky fan, I was curious and i wanted to at least see the whole thing before I completely judged it and I did so call me Judge Mathis lmao. I had to watch the original on DVD to make me feel better 💯

      I didn't wanna watch it being 23 and have grown on the originals. My 18 yo friend forced me. She loved it. I...... Wanted Chucky to rup my guts out in the theater. Like how can you even give it a happy ending?!

    • @dboslice
      @dboslice 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@SavedError exactly. I'm bout to turn 23 in a few weeks and what people don't understand is just because a "remake" is going to come out, doesn't mean that most of us is going to forget where we came from. If they want to like the remake that's on them. Also don't get me wrong, I got nothing against Mark Hamill, he partially made my childhood with voice acting Joker but Brad Dourif completely made my childhood with Chucky and nobody can take that away. Also you right about the happy ending, I didn't even think about that. *Sigh* I hate that Hollywood is always trying to remake a masterpiece, why can't they just come up with brand new serial killers from their own perspective minds?

      @@dboslice Exactly how I feel. That and Disney. Cant find a good scary horror movie anymore that I haven't seen. I can enjoy the ones I've seen but we need something new to scare us. Hereditary was pretty fucking great though. Enjoyed that one

    • @dboslice
      @dboslice 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@SavedError oh no recent horror movies can't scare me anymore. I have it all in my head now. And that's the problem, the writers always does the expected and is all about jump scares instead of an actual storyline. Not all writers just most. Also agree about Disney. They are another one, making real life action movies and fucking them up by switching characters around
