You know it's a passion when railroad employees still go out Railfanning. These guys are all awesome. Looks like you guys had a fun time. Both Mine Dock Park and Manitou and fantastic spots to hangout at around this time of year.
You should see the Reading, Blue Mountain & Northern! Everyone there all the way up to the CEO (Andy Muller) are huge railfans. It's an extremely railfan friendly road.
Now this video is “priceless”! You, the Flying Yankee, Conductor Paul, the Joker, ( cameo appearance) and a small host of others! I should’ve been there to get autographs! Thanks!! 😊
The Hudson Line videos are great! That was one heck of a combined FD response for sparks and I really enjoyed all the time you spent on that! This revealed how much mutual aid is needed between communities for fire protection these days. Small volunteer towns are short staffed too.
Tim, this is one of my favorite videos you have posted in some time! It's good to see the other railroad VIPs with you interacting and providing additional commentary. Hopefully you can make this a regular thing!
I'm sorry I should have rephrased that question. I did go on a Friday later on and caught "2 1/2" trains. A intermodal a mixed freight and a short local in a 2hr+ timespan. I should have asked if any day along with Friday had about the same frequency or better. Thanks for the quick reply.
Tim i like the video of you and the flying Yankee and conductor Paul and everyone else had fun at mine dock Park and seeing the joker the Metro North engineer did the conductor Paul called Metro North and another conductor knows downtown if they follow that track and the conductor Paul will called them again
You guys are AWESOME 👏🏾👏🏾. Glad to see you guys get together having a great time. That what’s it is about 🔥, that sure was a lot of fire department there lol. I mapped out mine dock park on my bucket list 😊definitely want to go there from bklyn, beautiful scenery. God bless you Tim

It's so wholesome how the railroad employees are also diehard railfans haha

@@OldsVistaCruiser Wow. That is interesting.

To be a fly on the wall to hear Paul's tirade. I got a pic of that train while visiting the Trolley Museum of NY Saturday
At the start, I think I saw the Flying Yankee and you can hear Train Man Paul yapping away in the background. 😂
Cool video, Tim.
This is so awesome seeing these guys enjoy the thrill of railfanning

Great stuff!! Love that ET44AH at the beginning
Looks like conductor Paul is looking for hot bearings. Great fan spot.
I see CSX trains where I live in Kingston, but it was nice to have them accompanied by you and your friendly colleagues. Thanks!
awesome video.
Great catches, good people. Lots of fun. Thanks. 😊
Railroad RockStars Conductor Paul and my ex co-worker Engineer John! 👍🏼🤘🏼👊🏼
Great video Tim with the backdrop of the scenic Hudson Line.
Awesome video!! Rail fanning at its best. Thanks Tim😀💚

We usually do this twice a year
@@3985uprr looking forward to the Fall Edition!
Looks like a wonderful day out with buddies. I figured that one railroader with the scanner, would've had a regular 2 way on him.
Manitou was part of my territory as a signal man out of Poughkeepsie.

CSX Moment comes into place 😎
14:30 CSX actually has 4 K5LLAs in their fleet. They are on units 595, 2767, 7204 and 7799.
By "hot" do you mean carloads that are time-sensitive and need to get from point A to B quickly? Sorry...still learning LOL.
Hotshot = high priority
High priority
Train Man Paul was in this video

Thank you very much
Any chance MN will be replacing their shoreline cars in the near future? And Will Amtrak be replacing its rolling stock in the NEC?
Next year or two you should start to see some changes
So, what was the deal with all the fire trucks showing up down there?
Sparks in electrical panel in somebody’s attic
❤
There are houses in Manitou? I thought it was all woods.
Along the river there are several
There is like 7 houses across the tracks on the river side.
What day of the week has the most train traffic through Minedock ? I was there on a Tuesday for about 2hrs and nothing.
Later in the week is best
Some of thos fire apparatus were tankers. No fire hydrants they set up pools for the pumpers to draw off of
They could draw water right out of the Hudson River, it's only about 50 yards from any of the houses.
@Donald Presher yes the tankers could do so but their was quite a lot of tankers
What horn was on the CSX on 2:38
I think a K5HL first generation. It was on the earliest GEVO’s
@@3985uprr k I'ma keep that in mind for my game. Cause that horn sounds really good
So what was the emergency?
A resident in a nearby house saw sparks in an electrical panel in attic.
😮😊😲😲
