Here’s the thing, Disney changed the tyrannosaurus to a carnotaurus to not copy Jurassic park and then Jurassic park changed the carnotaurus to ceratosaurus to not copy Disney, weird
I remember the JP Arcade which had a unique carnotaurus boss. It was said to be "a chameleon like dinosaur," even had the eyes like a chameleon. But it was named Carnotaurus and was quite big for a carno too. Besides the old Chaos Series toys being blatant hybrids, I think the arcade games before the movies hinted pretty hard at hybrid creatures too.
I wish they would have added the Carnotaurus scene in Jurassic Park 3 similar to the Lost World Novel in which they come in the night in the base camp.......It would have exhilarating
It was said in THE LOST WORLD novel that the camouflage was natural. Levine, before him and Diego's ill fated journey to Isla Sorna that there were some unusual fossilized skin imprints found by paleontologists. Setting up that plot. Like the dilophosaurus ,and their poisonous bite, and spitting in the previous novel. The scientists, and handlers didn't know the dilophosaurs they were poisonous until they saw them biting animals ,and standing back to wait for the venom to kick in. I always thought the carnotaurs could've played a role in the dinosaurs getting loose from their cages in THE LOST WORLD:Jurassic Park. Sarah and Nick Van Owen's monkeywrenching is stopped by the guards, but the carnotaurs sneak up on security resecuring the dinos. Preventing them from getting properly put away. And the carnotaurs' presence spooking the dinos, causing the stampede, that wrecked the InGen team's operation. Also maybe one or two of them sneaking on board the InGen Venture, and killing the crew of the ship on the way to San Diego.
Having read the novels before JP 3, I was rolling my eyes when the Indominus Rex revealed itself Predator style in JW. I was thinking in my head "Oh come on they should have done this in the second movie!"
My belief is that InGen killed a non camouflaged Carnotaurus and then created camouflaged versions of the terrifying hybrid! Great video today, Shadows! I really loved this Carnotaurus video! Well done! Keep up the good work!
Technically Wu used cuttlefish DNA because they had accelerated growth genes. The ability to camouflage was also a part of the cuttlefish's genetic DNA. Basically Wu got two special genes for the price of one creature. Plus Wu didn't actually know that the Indominus Rex could camouflage until Masrani told him
Actually I am pretty sure toro may have used it in camp cretaceous cause the first time you see toro Darius and Kenji were in it's enclosure and they never seen her while walking by. then it came out of nowhere so the explanation to that could be that toro camouflaged but that's just a theory
As much as I love TLW JP I wish Steven would have just stuck to the novel. Biosyn were a much better villain then Ingen. The Charmeleon Carnotaurus were the cherry on top. The scariest dinosaurs from the novels with some of the best written attacks. Just imagine if Toro was an Ingen Carno instead of a JW one. Camp Cretaceous would've been 10 times scarier & more intense.
They missed an opportunity because if you notice the Indominus has Carnotaurus DNA. Now if the Carno could camouflage they could explain the Indominus as receiving that gene from the Carno. Kind of giving a small nod to the Lost World and JP 3.
Maybe ingen carnotaurus was modified with chameleon then put it in the wild but never put the tracker, their camouflage at night will make them easily kill their prey and if morning, they will get exposed to light
Well to be honest I like both carnotaurus variants in jurassic world fallen kingdom, dominion and camp cretaceous because they look pretty cool and awesome and maybe they'll plan to have the chameleon carnotaurus for future jurassic franchise.
Great video man I'll subscribe. I would've love to see the carnotaurus I was pissed about fallen kingdom they missed the mark completely. But all good doesn't change how much I love the first three
Ingen carnatoraus wasn't fully grown none of the dinos in the lost world novel were cause they had a prion disease which killed all the animals early and made all the lost world dinos dying out
Actually before Jurassic World Fallen Kingdom release on 2018, i really hoping they will put Carnotaurus in chameleon version 😊 because made this Dinosaur so special for me because i love Carnotaurus so much, Carnotaurus was one of the my most favorite Dinosaur 😁. Unfortunately, since Jurassic World Fallen Kingdom and move on to Jurassic World Camp Cretaceous series and last Carnotaurus appear in Jurassic World Dominion do not have camouflage ability how i saw this ability in Jurassic Park arcade game (i really not remember what the name of this arcade game 🎮😂)☹️. For my opinion, if Colin Trevorrow not put Indominus Rex, the hybrid Dinosaur in very first Jurassic World movie 🍿🎥 OR still put the camouflage Carnotaurus in very first Jurassic World movie, that will be awesome 😎. However more camouflage Dinosaur in very first Jurassic World movie made hybrid Dinosaur like Indominus Rex less special, that's why Colin Trevorrow do not want to put the another ONE ☹️. I really want to see the camouflage Carnotaurus in Jurassic World movie canon 😁, unfortunately since 2018 into today i NEVER get opportunity to see this ability in movie canon, so sad 😞. If Colin Trevorrow decide to put camouflage Carnotaurus than Indominus Rex the hybrid Dinosaur in very first Jurassic World movie during 2015, Hasbro and later Mattel will be create this super awesome and super brutal Carnotaurus in Hasbro or Mattel Jurassic World toyline 😃! Yeah, i much prefer the camouflage Carnotaurus than normal Carnotaurus 🙂, however i still like the normal Carnotaurus for whatever is 😊🤗.
I loved this scene in the novel and always hoped for a fan animation of it. Where is the footage of the CGI inside of the Embryonics Compound from? Is that a fan made exploration like Jurassic Dream or the Isla Sorna Worker Village by Lofty Pines?
This carnotaurus is too outlandish and the normal one we got is honestly more appealing overall and if we get a camouflage ability on a normal dinosaur I hope it'll be on a smaller theropod like majungasaurus or megalosaurus something less imposing than the enormous carnotaurus or allosaurus in the franchise
I have a theory what if the camouflage carnotaurus were experimental or prototypes that were created too see and maybe back then ingen didn't have complete carnotaurus dna so they experimented using the chameleon dna and maybe octopuses because octopuses can camouflage alot better then cuttlefish and maybe just like the troodon that were in jurassic park the game john hammond wanted the carnotaurus destroyed but couldn't get to it do to the hurricane that hit the island that's just my theory what are your thoughts.
The camouflage carnotaurus is a cool looking dinosaur filled with Chameleon dna or any animals with changing color just like the indominus rex and it was supposed to be in the lost world Jurassic park and maybe Jurassic park 3 which had the ceratosaurus and the camouflage carnotaurus was in the Jurassic park arcade adventure and it’s weakness was shining a light at its head in which it’ll change it pattern and there was two of them in which Diego died in the second ripped Devines bag in which he survived and he was with the others in which the camouflage carnos heard them breathing in which it had its weakness the light shining at it’s head and chameleon dna did fill in the gaps in order to create it and hatch it and it also could’ve been in jp3 where the people search in the spino dung but due ti Disney’s dinosaur it was replaced by the ceratosaurus which I’m ok with it because we needed ceratosaurus in a Jurassic film and we did have carnotaurus in camp Cretaceous known as toro and the fallen kingdom one as the one maybe liked by rexy but could’ve survived and juveniles in dominion and a fully grown one and I did want to see the camouflage carnotaurus in the lost world Jurassic park so let’s hope it survives! You’re the best shadows!
Although the makers of JURASSIC PARK & JURASSIC WORLD didn't include this camouflauging scene of the 2 CARNOTAURUS-male & female pair in any of the 6 JURASSIC movies till date, they should make and include this scene from the original JURASSIC novel in future JURASSIC movies that'll be made in the near future and/or distant future !
I really wish they would have done this with the Carnos in the movies, the scene in the book was so intense! And yeah, they used it on the I. rex but they halfarsed it in my opinion, barely one scene and then never again? Lame. If they were going to do camo they should have used it a lot more, otherwise just give it to the Carnos to make use of!
Chimilions don change their skin like that they change their skin corospoing to the emotions so it would have to be a mix between cuddle fish and chmiloion to get that good of a camouflage
All of the InGen dinos were monstrous hybrids that shared very little with what they were supposed to be. The sheer horror they were supposed to represent were severely downplayed in the movies like for example the original T-Rex being part frog. Imagine being on the smaller side and with a literal over grown hungry Frog on your tail and it is tied off hunting. It opens its mouth from a car lengths away and next thing you know it's eating you. Yeah, that was closer to the novels T-Rex than the movie. The Raptors were far smarter, faster, stronger, and vicious in the novel as well at one point they had learned how to operate a boat and we're trying to get off the island, oh let's not forget that yes the chameleon Carnotaurs having extremely high camouflage capabilities but also that they hunted in packs of minium two. From what I remember if the Lost World there were more than two Carnotaurs at the compound, something closer to five or six but they only got a close up of two of them when they approached the shed and the rest hung out by the fence. They also didn't just run off out of confusion, they ran off because the sun was coming up and they didn't want to be out in the open and exposed because it takes a few seconds for them to adjust their camouflage and sunrise and sunset makes that nearly impossible, they did however pick off a few Raptors as they rushed the camp. Indominous would have had nothing on these things. Any of them, they were that much more terrifying.
The actual answer is those at Jurassic world, while still filling in the dna gaps with those of other animals, stopped doing so foolishly. It’s not that hard to figure out.
What VERSION of CARNOTAURUS do YOU PREFER??
The camouflage one
The camouflage one is scary one so red carnotaurus
I prefer both and still think we could see this version of s carno in the future
Both because the camouflage carnotaurus can change color and the Jurassic World carnotaurus is also cool looking
The camouflaging one
Here’s the thing, Disney changed the tyrannosaurus to a carnotaurus to not copy Jurassic park and then Jurassic park changed the carnotaurus to ceratosaurus to not copy Disney, weird
like why would jp change itself if theyre the original, thats also the reason why disney change theirs cuz jp is the original 🤔
Such a weird Decission. Those were real Animals and Carnotaurus didn't even live in North America
@ ikr

I REMEMBER THIS. That boss scared the hell out of me when I was a kid.
Yeah the green one.
I wish they still had the Jp ones nowadays it's just jw with the spine tric and rex
I wish they would have added the Carnotaurus scene in Jurassic Park 3 similar to the Lost World Novel in which they come in the night in the base camp.......It would have exhilarating

5:09, I used to always say "Carnotosaurus" even tho I never had the chance to read the Jurassic Park novels
Having read the novels before JP 3, I was rolling my eyes when the Indominus Rex revealed itself Predator style in JW. I was thinking in my head "Oh come on they should have done this in the second movie!"
One of the most terrifying parts of the book. The tennis pitch was pure panic!

That doesn’t even make sense.

Toro is a male but that’s actually a pretty good theory tho

Jurassic World Camp Cretaceous Toro should have had a few scenes having him go camouflage, or maybe because of his burnt he couldn't.
Maybe ingen carnotaurus was modified with chameleon then put it in the wild but never put the tracker, their camouflage at night will make them easily kill their prey and if morning, they will get exposed to light
Fun Fact: In the JP Lost World Arcade @TheGamingBeaver named the Carno Toast! I just thought I'd share that.
Well to be honest I like both carnotaurus variants in jurassic world fallen kingdom, dominion and camp cretaceous because they look pretty cool and awesome and maybe they'll plan to have the chameleon carnotaurus for future jurassic franchise.

Glad you liked it!!
Great video man I'll subscribe. I would've love to see the carnotaurus I was pissed about fallen kingdom they missed the mark completely. But all good doesn't change how much I love the first three
Collin or Steven missed the opportunity since a camo before another camo would have been cool
The books were so good.
Thank you for the update too
Thanks,Shadows.
What is ur Theory on what happened to the baby raptor in jp 1?
Shadows will there be a season 6 for jurassic world camp cretaceous?
maybe ;)
@@ShadowsLew I hope there is I love jurassic world camp cretaceous
Chaos theory
Its design is perfect for whats spliced with
I sub and im almost done watching all your videos😀☺️
Thank you Very much
Tbh, I feel like they should’ve made toro the camo-carno it would’ve been scarier
Imagine dropping these things in the Kongo, Amazonian Rainforests.
The game jurassic park arcade gaming beaver played and saw that carnotaurus and he thoug it was toast is custom carnotaurus
Ingen carnatoraus wasn't fully grown none of the dinos in the lost world novel were cause they had a prion disease which killed all the animals early and made all the lost world dinos dying out

love it
This Carnotaurus appears in Chaos Theory
Guys imagin if Jurassic park survival the game have the carnotaurus camuflage o my
Maybe Toro too? He was just there without any warning. Also he and Darcy (Indominus Rex) talked to each other and Darcy freed him.

Hey you know you forgot to do so someone for your life story you know that is Pierce the Kentrosaurus you should definitely make a life video of him
In chaos theory there is a green carnotaurus
That ability is similar to a Power ranger Villain Camille from Jungle fury she turns invisible to attack her enemies with weapons🦹🦹.
I Want to See a Fight of The Camo Carnotaurus vs Indominus rex this can be the Goat Fight
Wild born velociraptors also have this ability
I really wish they would have done this with the Carnos in the movies, the scene in the book was so intense! One of my favorite dinosaurs is the carnotaurs
Dude the Carnotaurus from disney dinozaur is litteraly a hybrid betwen a t-rex and carnotaurus 😄🤫🤯🤯
I with the book version was in the lost world and Jurassic park 3
That carnotaurus is Boston and scary
I think it is octopus DNA not Chamaeleon DNA
(Spoiler alert) When I was watching Jurassic World chaos theory I actually saw a green Carnotaurus.
Don't know if Dinosaurs have the ability to Camouflage like today's Chameleon which they use to catch flies🦎🦎.
The original carnotaurus
But what about the carne asada??
