Awesome, thank you! I do have to be honest, though, these videos are from a more recent trip. The trip described in the book was more than twice as long.
This lodge has been under the... not a zombie apocalypse... but a bear apocalypse. It is very impressive to see all the claw marks in the foam cushions ! As watching first bottle of bug spray with teeth marks, I thought, as yourself, that it would have been a really funny scene when the bear chewed on it. Seeing teeth marks on the seconds bug spray, I wondered if the bear actually liked it ;-) TH-cam recommended me this channel, and for once the all mighty algorythm is spot on. I'm a long time subscriber of your Self Defence Tutorials, and I think it is really a cool idea to have created this new channel. I liked your self defence channel because you are an intelligent person who understand that things can work or not depending on the context, and because you explain thinks clearly and concisely. Also liking the good alchemy between you and Richie, and the politeness towards some dumb martial practices even when criticizing. I'm loving this new channel because of the fabulous landscapes that are so well filmed !
Thank you very much. What I didn’t show is that every single single Tupperware, water, bottle, and yogurt container. Also had bite marks in it. I think they just explore the world with their mouth.
I've seen a bear at a different backwoods lodge bite into a can of cooking spray and then try to go after a propane tank. A more experienced guy up there told a story about a lodge where the bears had popped like 50 small coleman-style tanks over the winter. Just livin' their best life.
Having followed your voyage all these year ago, checking the daily posts, it’s great to see the videos. Waiting for the book, I have pre-ordered it.

@ I also followed this one (is it the Seal river trip?)
👍👍
Incredible! And man, those bugs...
Oh, they were bad that day but got much, much worse a few weeks later!
