Joe and Dianne, to undo something you just did click the backwards arrow that’s on the panel at the top centre of the screen. Also, to instantly find an item that you’ve got placed use the dropper tool to the right of mouse button at top centre of screen again (the icon second along from the left, looks like a pencil). If you use this you can click on anything and instantly place another of it, so say you wanted to find the exact colour wall paint that you used before and couldn’t remember what exact colour it was or you wanted to use the same doors that you’ve placed before, use the dropper tool and select it and you’ve got it! You can buy beds especially for children/teens. - search ‘video station’ for your TH-cam desk - the children will have a homework book in their personal inventory’s, they need to complete their homework everyday to get good grades. - when your sims are at work/school click on the people holding hands in the corner of their small face icon at the bottom of the screen to choose how they act. ie. The kids can study hard at school, meet new friends or slack off. - you’ve got lots of different shapes/sizes of windows, so you may want to consider how they look from the outside of the house - you can unlock items you can’t purchase in build mode using the cheat code: bb.ignoregameplayunlocksentitlement Hope this helps! :)
Hey guys loving the series! here is how to make an infinity pool: start by making a foundation at raising it up then use the pool tool and draw a pool on to the foundation. open the cheat box [ctrl shift c] and type in testingcheats true then type in bb.showhidden objects in the section where you can change the foundation there will be new options apply the city living one which was previously locked away you will be now left with a see through pool add the base game windows and raise the up by pressing the 9 key. like this comment so they can see! if you guys dont understand there is a youtube channel called Kate emerald and she has a video tutorial!
Tips for the day: .When you make a mistake there is an undo and re-do button on the top bar where the pointer is, they're the 2 curved arrows .To copy and paste an item (including wallpaper and flooring) you could use the eye drop tool next to the pointer on the top bar .Put some lights in the kitchen .Replace the mirror next to the front door with a painting possibly the one that was going to go in the main bathroom .If you're making a balcony above the study, it would be nice to put the stairs outside .Still please change the beds in the kids room, or at least the colour of the green one .Put a picnic table and sun loungers on the decking .Change the glass fencing around the decking as the house has a more rustic/wooden vibe to it .Also if you need any inspiration on how to make your house look better, the gallery (the icon with two photos in the top right corner) shows other creators' builds.
Just to let you know. You’re kids have homework in there personal inventory they need to do to help them at school...😊 They need to do it everyday Like so they see please!
if you do something you don’t like at the top there is a backward looking arrow you can press it and it will undo and go back to the step it was before you deleted it

Some more tips and ideas: - You have made the twins’ violin too big so they won’t be able to play it (it’s not a guitar) - I’m pretty sure you can just by a jacuzzi by itself without any walls and roof if you prefer it like that - The youtube equipment is called ‘Video Station’ - Since you wanted a fish I suggest you put the tank in front of the large mirror which is looking over the dining table - When Chris-Lilley grows up to be a toddler where will he sleep as you have made him a room? I have an idea of extending the balcony back to what it was then where the barbecue is make it into Chris’s room. To make it work even more, I suggest you move the sliding doors to where the tv and living room is and move the tv and living room to where the doors are and since the wall will be plain from moving the sliding doors you can put your yellow corner sofa there. Then move the rug and dining table slightly to the right so it’s not as crowded and to use up more space change the angle of the dining table.
no they can`t put a room there because they want to keep all the windows in the kitchen.. I would build a second floor and put 2 rooms for the twins upstairs and than the toddler can have the downstairs kids room..
I LOVE THIS SERIES! here’s a couple suggestions though: - your family room looks pretty empty - add bookshelf’s, shelfs, a bar or some other stuff to fill up the space - the study room wall and space also looks a little empty - i’m not sure what to add but you guys will figure it out - outside - add an infinity pool, please change you barbecue set up and those yellow couches, some other outdoorsy stuff
Opinion: If your making a balcony you could use - -fake grass -sat up your pool/ jacuzzi -set up a telescope (as a reminder of when joe proposed) -meditation/ random area

some tips :) -you can change the time of day by clicking "L' -you can get rid of the grid on the floor by clicking "G" -if you make a mistake and don't know how to go back you can click the reverse arrow at the top -you can get rid of stuff easily with the sledge hammer tool at the top -you can use the eyedropper tool at the top to 'copy and paste' any object - i'm not sure if this will work but if you make your foundation concrete all over then you might be able to put i pool in. i'm not sure though -you can press the "+' key to scroll through colours of an objects quicker when you have it pulled out of the catalog like so they can see!
You can get a family bulletin board (I’m not sure if it’s in a pack) but you can set curfews and chores. Also don’t forget about Chris’ room. You can download bunk beds in custom content so you can have all the kids in the one room. Also you can move the dolls house from the kids room to the study. There is an eye dropper tool that you can use to duplicate what you already have. The reason you couldn’t move the rug was because you clicked the up arrow 2 buttons across from build/live mode. Keep up the good work, loving the series!
@@ameliafisher17 they finish the kids room in the first 10 mins and don't go back to it. At about 9:40 you can see the floor has no wooden grain like the rest of the house, it's just the bare concrete and they never floor it. Yes it's the same colour as the wood but it's just bare concrete. X

You can search them up or you can find the in the object by function area (which is the third symbol which is a chair) click on the bar that says show all and choose electronics, then click on Misc which is the 5th symbol that is a triangle formed from dots - to unlock the the locked build objects doing ctrl shift c and type in testingcheats true. Then type in bb.ignoregameplayunlcoksentitlement - you will need a thermostat as yours sims will react to the change in weather and become uncomfortable hot or cold

You could put leaves and flowers draping over the fence in the balcony. And put a little area outside the office with a wood roof. This area could have another long table with a fence next to it with the flowers on.
Loooving the series, I look forward to it every day! A few quick things... You should familiarize yourself with the row of controls on the top middle portion of the screen in build mode. The dropper tool allows you to make a duplicate of any item quickly, so you don't have to go through all the items trying to find it. This can come in handy, for example when it comes time for you to locate the house foundation/stilts to replace the cement portions (which I hope you do :) you can just copy it. The function with the image that looks like spread out cards, is a swatch. So if you place an item and you want to look at the different color options you can use that to visualize it quickly. The hammer deletes an item. The back arrow allows you to undo an action if you messed up, forward arrow allows you to redo. You'll need to delete the portion of the outdoor fence that is in front of the ladder - right now it's blocking it and your Sims won't be able to use it. I also would love to see the hot tub in a different place - where it's at currently your Sims' view would be blocked by it from the kitchen and living room.

tips! - anything you scale up or down with the cheat, when you interact with the item the action won’t line up (eg: if you’ve scaled down your coffee table the drink will float because you’ve used a cheat) this doesn’t matter too much but thought you should know😁 - if you want to duplicate an item that you already have in your house, in build mode you don’t have to go through the items again to find it, you can use the pipette icon at the top of the screen😁 - also pop some lights above your kitchen😁 - there should be a item called ‘the more views video station’ which you can do videos on but i think you also need the camera, to find it you can probably search ‘video’😁 - also your ladder on the deck outside can’t be used because the fencing is blocking it, i’d either get rid of the fencing so they can jump off or just make a gap where the ladder is😁
I absolutely loveee your guys play through!! Here are some tips and tricks i have learned along the way for building! When you’re in build mode the tool bar on the top of the screen has tools for quick building. The eye dropper if you click on it you can multiply an item so you don’t have to scroll through and find it in the inventory! The one next to it that looks like a stack of paint colors, if you click on that you can change the color of any object you already have so you don’t have to keep selling and replacing the item. The sledge hammer to to delete things quickly. The button next to that the back arrow is the undo button! so if you accidentally delete your deck you can click undo instead of having to rebuild it! Again I absolutely love the series!! pleaseee like this so they see it and help make building easier!!
I've played sims for years and watching this stresses me out . I do have advice for you !! You can line up your sofas using the alt key You can get a small coffee table , next to the sofa in build mode Just letting you know the kids room has no floor At the top there is an undo and redo tool Also at the top there is an (eye drop) copy tool Some things you size up will NOT work Also , some packs I recommend for furniture Tiny living and jungle adventure!! You could also bye a sun bed in outside furniture, and get a sun tan There is not a light in the kitchen: I think it's a little dark You MUST take care of the baby , or it will be taken away You need a smoke alarm, for fires , and also a thermostat as you have the seasons pack Also if you like furniture, custom content is amazing, but some can be dodgy You could get a dishwasher! Also toddlers need toddler beds ! Save the game ! If not you might lose everything The parent hood pack has AMAZING kitchen countertops 😂 Depending on how expensive items are , decides the quality Also an idea is to make a huge upstairs area for Adults only with a bar The issue with the curtains is there a multiple levels of wall Please like so they see Love the series so far ❤️💛💚💙
Yeah they are stressing me out but I still love to watch because it's like the only gaming channel on TH-cam that doesn't play fortnite😂😂 and I have each and every sim game and each new game I get the worse my ocd gets and this stress's me out so much because the kitchen windows aren't even to the oven fan😂😂 kids room needs a floor because that stress me out to much😂 and it's far too dark in that house😣
Yeah, if it was me, I would make the current office into a playroom until Chris needs it for a bedroom and put the dollhouse, junior lab table, art table, etc. in there. Then I'd make a second floor with a gym, bar, office, ping pong table etc. They really need to get more of the educational stuff to raise the girls' skills. I would also raise all the ceilings to the max height, but that's just my preference.
I think it'll be so cool to have stairs in the middle of the house to fill it up more, leading to a balcony on the empty space above the kids room, you can put deck chairs up there and a nice rug and it'll be a nice place fir the kids to get away if they want too xx
Tips 1. First of all I just wanted to say you're doing great and have learned so much in the past few weeks 2. Click on the countertop, click the side where the colours are then click the gears to choose what shape counter you want (this will disable auto counters, to turn it back on click "off" in the bottom right of the picture) 3. You can't join couches round a corner without custom content (which I wouldn't recommend until you're a little more experienced with the game) 4. The TH-cam desk is called the video station. Find it under items by function --> electronics --> miscellaneous

Just wanted to let u know that at the top whilst your editing there’s an arrow which is basically a undo so if u do something wrong u can just go back.
You weren’t able to click on the rug because you sized it up and were trying to select outside the original size. If you click right in the centre you will be able to move it etc. There is also activity tables and more for the kids if you go to the kids section. Loving the series :)
Just a thought but on the wall where the TV is I would personally get rid of that set of screen doors then center the TV/living room on that wall and on each side of the TV add a big window so that you can still take in the view! I have no idea if this makes any sense but I couldn’t help but share when I thought of it. Loving the series so far!
Love the house, a few suggestions though: - Get the kitchen wall to match the living room wall, then you will have space between the kitchen and the girl's room, where you can build Chris's room, for when he gets bigger, and you could also make the girl's room a little bigger, I personally think it looks a little cramped - You could put a bath like the one you have in your bathroom on the outside, instead of the jacuzzi you have now, because that one blocks the view of the sea a little bit - You could put outdoor lounging chairs on the balcony, facing the ocean, so the sims can sunbathe
If you press 'r' and then click on items in buildmode you can change the color/pattern while it's in the room. It makes it easier to pick a color on rugs and flowers or any other item in your room with out having to go through all the swatches :)
They can it will just look wierd. The size up tool makes it look different but they will still use it as a normal thing so the animation will look a bit off
Hey, loving the series, you should definitely buy a jet ski and not so sure about the beds in the kids room btw, you should also put an upstairs balcony and an attic leading up to it, you can have a nice eating area there and lastly buy some fairy lights for when it is dark
personally, i think adding the grass space would be cool especially if you wanted to have a gym area or a grass play area for the kids and the dog if you get one. loving this series!
Some things: when you couldn’t click on the rug and the delete floor option kept coming up just click off the house so in a corner or the sea, should then work. If you want to change the face features, surname or names or anything for your sims- turn on cheats and type in cas.fulleditmode then right click on the sims and click on modify sims, will take you to the edit sim and you can do full edit.
To be a TH-camr you need to type in “The more views video station” and then you can create videos, be famous and earn money.Also, you can have a drone to do live-streams so just type “drone” in and it should come up!
On the top of your screen in build mode there are different tools like the eye dropper tool that allows you to click on an object and sort of copy it an place another one of you want to place something you have that you like and want another one of. Guys, we need to teach them how to use the tools on the very top of the screen. The arrows undo and redo any changes you make, the sledgehammer icon next to it destroys whatever you use it on, the icon with 3 rectangles spread out (on the left of the sledgehammer icon) is the colouring tool, and the painting brush icon on the left of that is the formatting/eyedropper tool which can help find objects or wallpaper in the catalog. You just need to click on the object you want more of (like finding a certain wallpaper you've used) and it'll take you to the place in the catalog. Joe, learn how to use these tools and they'll make your sims life easier. =) I like the series!
I need to say something -Most of the time when you make things bigger or smaller the sims will not be able to use it. -The youtube thing you are looking for is called the video station all you really need to do is search video and you can find it. -There is a bar at the top of the screen when you are in build mode when you click on the curser you can edit things and such, when you click on the eyedropper looking thing it will bring you straight to what you are looking for if it is already in the house and you click on it, the papers that are flared out is paint swatches and you can use that to look at the colour chooses instead of deleting it every time to change the colour. -when you are building walls and want to stop using the wall tool you can press the cancel button at the top of the wall-building options -you can put a toy chest in the kid's room so they can keep their toys in there and you won't find them all over the house -when the baby ages up into a toddler you should give them the independent trait so that they can learn to use the potty by themself, you should also get them one of those big bears so that they can level up their talking skill, you should get them the building blocks so that they can level up their movement and thinking skills, you should also get them a toy chest. -Don't keep move objects on for the whole time because that allows you to put objects anywhere you want without restrictions which is a pain in the butt when you realize that you can't actually use something because you put an object by it that is restricting it from being used. -get a toaster for your kitchen so that if you are both at work kids can make chicken nuggets and oatmeal and other things by themselves. -with babies and toddlers if you leave the house without them then they automatically go to daycare for free so that you don't have to heir a nanny every time, kids can be at the house by themselves and the same with teens. -you can not join 2 couches together, if you have seen other people doing it then it is because they downloaded custom content which allows them to do that. -you can't get to the ladder with the Fenech there. -you should get the swings or monkey bars for the kids so they can have fun -you can get beach towels for outside and then your sims can get a tan but make sure that they have sunscreen on so they don't burn -You can't get a pool because your house goes into an ocean, it just doesn't make sense to get a pool, you can also get floats to put in the ocean - Get the perfect patio stuff pack to get hot tubes without a roof -when you are making the outfits each icon at the top is for something different, the first is every day so that is what your sim will wear every day, the next is formal and that is what the sim will wear when they go to a formal event, then there is activewear which your sim wears when they are working out, then it is party wear which is when the sims go to a party or something, then you have swimwear which is what they wear when they are swimming, there is also hot and cold weather which your sims will automatically change into depending on the weather outside -you can get a kiddy pool for the toddlers to swim in -make the kids do their homework so that they level up faster in school -always do your daily task for work so you can get a promotion also when your sims are at work or school there is a little icon at the right of their head on the little overview of all your sims, if you click it you can control what they are doing at work or school -if Diane gets pregnant again you should get the get to work expansion pack so that diane can have the baby at the hospital and get a birth certificate I hope all of these things helped
you guys are improving so much over this series I love it!! 😂 just a few answers to your questions: - if you search misc. electronics you'll find the video station or something along those lines to make youtube videos, you can also buy a drone that helps record footage and you can live stream on that which gets followers and fame very quickly - the reason you can't move the rug is because once you've scaled rugs up, it's hard to move them because they basically become part of the floor but there is an undo button at the top - you can buy a hot tub without a roof with the perfect patio stuff pack- that also comes with some nice patio furniture - i think you can line up your sofas using the alt key - this was in the last video but to move the toilet roll, you have to put the walls up and move it down that way hope this helps!! :)

At 34:00 when u accidentally placed that room an didn’t like it. On the top bar there is a back arrow. Click it and your last object or thing u placed will disappear (u get ur money back) :)

Personally I would swap your bedroom and office around and move your bathroom too. Your office is huge compared to your bedroom! You could then have a door from when you walk in into your office on the left and you can then still have your corner windows overlooking the sea in the bedroom like you had before your office. Love the series!
Loving the series, best episode so far. You said that it would be nice to have a picture of the kids, you can do this by taking a selfie with them by the phone and it saves into your inventory!
In case you need it at some point there’s an undo button on the toolbar at the top. You can also copy items you already have using the eye dropper tool at the top, instead of having to keep searching for the same thing. There’s also a design tool to easily change the colour of an object you’ve already placed. Love the series! 💗
if you want spotlights you can use the lights you have now but scale them down smaller and if you press the ‘e’ on your keyboard you can hover over any object and click and it will copy it, saves you scrolling through items when looking for the same window or mirror etc. when you were trying to move the rug it wouldn’t move because you’ve scaled it up, you can still only click in the sized area of the original size it would have been also the jet ski wouldn’t go into the water because you had the decking out to the end of the plot and your sims won’t be able to climb down the ladder as you have put the glass fence across it
to get clutter, go onto the objects by room and on the desk in the kids room is some pencils, if you click on that you’ll see lots of different clutter items, a trick to save money if you want is you can click on a light then auto lights, your lights will turn on and off when you enter or exit rooms, you could also make dianne a mermaid like the little mermaid, to move objects up and down do the move objects cheat then click 9 and 0 to move objects up and down, you can use this to put objects onto the empty shelves on the bookshelf, loving the series keep it up!🥰💜
I think they could get the kitchen out more (matching the living room), then there will be a nice space between the kitchen and the girl's room. They could build Chris's room there and still make the girl's room a little bigger
Here's a few things that will possibly help you with building: 1) You need to search video station to make youtube videos 2)To undo what you have just placed or changes hold 'ctrl z' 3)To rotate objects smoothly, hold down on a object you've place whilst holding alt, then you should be able to twist it. 4)At the top of your screen in build mode there are different options: If you want to duplicate an item you have already placed then click the second icon along, also if you click the next one along from that and then click on an object you can easily change the colour of it, rather than deleting the object then placing it again in a different colour. 5)Also, I could be wrong but I think you have things in your inventory from your apartment that you can see and make back some og the money you just spent. 6)To save money on bills, in live mode click on one of the lights then click auto lights on all lights. 7)If you want a hot tub with no roof, I'm pretty sure there in one in the perfect patio expansion pack Hope that helps with building :)))

I know you wanted a shoe rack etc so if you go into the “kids room” section and find the pen pot it will say clutter and you can find kitchen decorations, shelves, shoe racks, coat racks and so much more! Please like this so joe and Dianne see this!! ♥️🥰
If you wanted a picture of the kids, on your phones there is an option to take picture or selfie etc once you take one it will go to your inventory where you can then frame to put in your house. Also if you wanted more decorations like candles, shoe racks etc they are on decorations :)

apply the city living one which was previously locked away
you will be now left with a see through pool
add the base game windows and raise the up by pressing the 9 key.

Tips for the day:
.When you make a mistake there is an undo and re-do button on the top bar where the pointer is, they're the 2 curved arrows
.To copy and paste an item (including wallpaper and flooring) you could use the eye drop tool next to the pointer on the top bar
.Put some lights in the kitchen
.Replace the mirror next to the front door with a painting possibly the one that was going to go in the main bathroom
.If you're making a balcony above the study, it would be nice to put the stairs outside
.Still please change the beds in the kids room, or at least the colour of the green one
.Put a picnic table and sun loungers on the decking
.Change the glass fencing around the decking as the house has a more rustic/wooden vibe to it
.Also if you need any inspiration on how to make your house look better, the gallery (the icon with two photos in the top right corner) shows other creators' builds.

Hey Suggwells! Some more tips and ideas:
- You have made the twins’ violin too big so they won’t be able to play it (it’s not a guitar)
- I’m pretty sure you can just by a jacuzzi by itself without any walls and roof if you prefer it like that
- The youtube equipment is called ‘Video Station’
- Since you wanted a fish I suggest you put the tank in front of the large mirror which is looking over the dining table
- When Chris-Lilley grows up to be a toddler where will he sleep as you have made him a room? I have an idea of extending the balcony back to what it was then where the barbecue is make it into Chris’s room. To make it work even more, I suggest you move the sliding doors to where the tv and living room is and move the tv and living room to where the doors are and since the wall will be plain from moving the sliding doors you can put your yellow corner sofa there. Then move the rug and dining table slightly to the right so it’s not as crowded and to use up more space change the angle of the dining table.

Here’s a tip; when in build mode at the top there’s the ‘eye dropper’ tool and if you press that then click on an item it automatically gets the exact same thing so you don’t have search up and down for it manually. There’s also an undo/redo button and a door that turns it back to a mouse so you can click other things. Loving this series so far🥰

-you can change the time of day by clicking "L'
-you can get rid of the grid on the floor by clicking "G"
-if you make a mistake and don't know how to go back you can click the reverse arrow at the top
-you can get rid of stuff easily with the sledge hammer tool at the top
-you can use the eyedropper tool at the top to 'copy and paste' any object
- i'm not sure if this will work but if you make your foundation concrete all over then you might be able to put i pool in. i'm not sure though
-you can press the "+' key to scroll through colours of an objects quicker when you have it pulled out of the catalog

Also can u add to your list how pressing the plus key changes the colour of the items without having to delete them and looking on the menu

You can get a family bulletin board (I’m not sure if it’s in a pack) but you can set curfews and chores. Also don’t forget about Chris’ room. You can download bunk beds in custom content so you can have all the kids in the one room. Also you can move the dolls house from the kids room to the study. There is an eye dropper tool that you can use to duplicate what you already have. The reason you couldn’t move the rug was because you clicked the up arrow 2 buttons across from build/live mode. Keep up the good work, loving the series!

- your TH-cam station is called “The More Choices Video Station” or “The More Views Video Station”. You can search them up or you can find the in the object by function area (which is the third symbol which is a chair) click on the bar that says show all and choose electronics, then click on Misc which is the 5th symbol that is a triangle formed from dots

- you will need a thermostat as yours sims will react to the change in weather and become uncomfortable hot or cold
1. Microwave etc. in the kitchen

a few tips to help you guys:
- the youtube station you’re wanting is called “video station” type that up and you should find it!
- when you size something up, the object is still the original size it was which is why you couldn’t pick up the rug :)
- if you want to access the locked items, type the cheat “bb.ignoregameplayunlocksentitlement”
You could put leaves and flowers draping over the fence in the balcony. And put a little area outside the office with a wood roof. This area could have another long table with a fence next to it with the flowers on.
Loooving the series, I look forward to it every day! A few quick things... You should familiarize yourself with the row of controls on the top middle portion of the screen in build mode. The dropper tool allows you to make a duplicate of any item quickly, so you don't have to go through all the items trying to find it. This can come in handy, for example when it comes time for you to locate the house foundation/stilts to replace the cement portions (which I hope you do :) you can just copy it. The function with the image that looks like spread out cards, is a swatch. So if you place an item and you want to look at the different color options you can use that to visualize it quickly. The hammer deletes an item. The back arrow allows you to undo an action if you messed up, forward arrow allows you to redo.
You'll need to delete the portion of the outdoor fence that is in front of the ladder - right now it's blocking it and your Sims won't be able to use it. I also would love to see the hot tub in a different place - where it's at currently your Sims' view would be blocked by it from the kitchen and living room.
Joe the thing you need for the TH-cam stuff is called a “Video Station” so you can either search for it or it’s under the electronics category, and once you are in the electronics click the box with three dots.

Love the series, just a few tips: When Chris-lily needs a room of his own, it might be good to use up some indoor space by putting it coming off the bathroom rather than extending onto the patio. Also the TH-cam thing you need is called a video station and you have to search it in the corner as it can't be found by clicking.
tips!
- anything you scale up or down with the cheat, when you interact with the item the action won’t line up (eg: if you’ve scaled down your coffee table the drink will float because you’ve used a cheat) this doesn’t matter too much but thought you should know😁
- if you want to duplicate an item that you already have in your house, in build mode you don’t have to go through the items again to find it, you can use the pipette icon at the top of the screen😁
- also pop some lights above your kitchen😁
- there should be a item called ‘the more views video station’ which you can do videos on but i think you also need the camera, to find it you can probably search ‘video’😁
- also your ladder on the deck outside can’t be used because the fencing is blocking it, i’d either get rid of the fencing so they can jump off or just make a gap where the ladder is😁

I absolutely loveee your guys play through!! Here are some tips and tricks i have learned along the way for building! When you’re in build mode the tool bar on the top of the screen has tools for quick building. The eye dropper if you click on it you can multiply an item so you don’t have to scroll through and find it in the inventory! The one next to it that looks like a stack of paint colors, if you click on that you can change the color of any object you already have so you don’t have to keep selling and replacing the item. The sledge hammer to to delete things quickly. The button next to that the back arrow is the undo button! so if you accidentally delete your deck you can click undo instead of having to rebuild it!
Again I absolutely love the series!!

I've played sims for years and watching this stresses me out . I do have advice for you !!
You can line up your sofas using the alt key
You can get a small coffee table , next to the sofa in build mode
Just letting you know the kids room has no floor
At the top there is an undo and redo tool
Also at the top there is an (eye drop) copy tool
Some things you size up will NOT work
Also , some packs I recommend for furniture
Tiny living and jungle adventure!!
You could also bye a sun bed in outside furniture, and get a sun tan
There is not a light in the kitchen: I think it's a little dark
You MUST take care of the baby , or it will be taken away
You need a smoke alarm, for fires , and also a thermostat as you have the seasons pack
Also if you like furniture, custom content is amazing, but some can be dodgy
You could get a dishwasher!
Also toddlers need toddler beds !
Save the game ! If not you might lose everything
The parent hood pack has AMAZING kitchen countertops 😂
Depending on how expensive items are , decides the quality
Also an idea is to make a huge upstairs area for Adults only with a bar
The issue with the curtains is there a multiple levels of wall

Yeah, if it was me, I would make the current office into a playroom until Chris needs it for a bedroom and put the dollhouse, junior lab table, art table, etc. in there. Then I'd make a second floor with a gym, bar, office, ping pong table etc. They really need to get more of the educational stuff to raise the girls' skills. I would also raise all the ceilings to the max height, but that's just my preference.

Tips
1. First of all I just wanted to say you're doing great and have learned so much in the past few weeks
2. Click on the countertop, click the side where the colours are then click the gears to choose what shape counter you want (this will disable auto counters, to turn it back on click "off" in the bottom right of the picture)
3. You can't join couches round a corner without custom content (which I wouldn't recommend until you're a little more experienced with the game)
4. The TH-cam desk is called the video station. Find it under items by function --> electronics --> miscellaneous

Just wanted to let u know that at the top whilst your editing there’s an arrow which is basically a undo so if u do something wrong u can just go back.
You weren’t able to click on the rug because you sized it up and were trying to select outside the original size. If you click right in the centre you will be able to move it etc. There is also activity tables and more for the kids if you go to the kids section. Loving the series :)
Just a thought but on the wall where the TV is I would personally get rid of that set of screen doors then center the TV/living room on that wall and on each side of the TV add a big window so that you can still take in the view! I have no idea if this makes any sense but I couldn’t help but share when I thought of it. Loving the series so far!

Love the house, a few suggestions though:
- Get the kitchen wall to match the living room wall, then you will have space between the kitchen and the girl's room, where you can build Chris's room, for when he gets bigger, and you could also make the girl's room a little bigger, I personally think it looks a little cramped
- You could put a bath like the one you have in your bathroom on the outside, instead of the jacuzzi you have now, because that one blocks the view of the sea a little bit
- You could put outdoor lounging chairs on the balcony, facing the ocean, so the sims can sunbathe
Natalie Freitas also think you guys should change the lights in the kids room because they are very yellow compared to all the other rooms.

If you press 'r' and then click on items in buildmode you can change the color/pattern while it's in the room. It makes it easier to pick a color on rugs and flowers or any other item in your room with out having to go through all the swatches :)

Hey, loving the series, you should definitely buy a jet ski and not so sure about the beds in the kids room btw, you should also put an upstairs balcony and an attic leading up to it, you can have a nice eating area there and lastly buy some fairy lights for when it is dark
personally, i think adding the grass space would be cool especially if you wanted to have a gym area or a grass play area for the kids and the dog if you get one. loving this series!

Some things: when you couldn’t click on the rug and the delete floor option kept coming up just click off the house so in a corner or the sea, should then work. If you want to change the face features, surname or names or anything for your sims- turn on cheats and type in cas.fulleditmode then right click on the sims and click on modify sims, will take you to the edit sim and you can do full edit.
To be a TH-camr you need to type in “The more views video station” and then you can create videos, be famous and earn money.Also, you can have a drone to do live-streams so just type “drone” in and it should come up!
On the top of your screen in build mode there are different tools like the eye dropper tool that allows you to click on an object and sort of copy it an place another one of you want to place something you have that you like and want another one of. You also near a gate to your ladder. Loving the series guys!
Guys, we need to teach them how to use the tools on the very top of the screen. The arrows undo and redo any changes you make, the sledgehammer icon next to it destroys whatever you use it on, the icon with 3 rectangles spread out (on the left of the sledgehammer icon) is the colouring tool, and the painting brush icon on the left of that is the formatting/eyedropper tool which can help find objects or wallpaper in the catalog. You just need to click on the object you want more of (like finding a certain wallpaper you've used) and it'll take you to the place in the catalog. Joe, learn how to use these tools and they'll make your sims life easier. =) I like the series!
I need to say something
-Most of the time when you make things bigger or smaller the sims will not be able to use it.
-The youtube thing you are looking for is called the video station all you really need to do is search video and you can find it.
-There is a bar at the top of the screen when you are in build mode when you click on the curser you can edit things and such, when you click on the eyedropper looking thing it will bring you straight to what you are looking for if it is already in the house and you click on it, the papers that are flared out is paint swatches and you can use that to look at the colour chooses instead of deleting it every time to change the colour.
-when you are building walls and want to stop using the wall tool you can press the cancel button at the top of the wall-building options
-you can put a toy chest in the kid's room so they can keep their toys in there and you won't find them all over the house
-when the baby ages up into a toddler you should give them the independent trait so that they can learn to use the potty by themself, you should also get them one of those big bears so that they can level up their talking skill, you should get them the building blocks so that they can level up their movement and thinking skills, you should also get them a toy chest.
-Don't keep move objects on for the whole time because that allows you to put objects anywhere you want without restrictions which is a pain in the butt when you realize that you can't actually use something because you put an object by it that is restricting it from being used.
-get a toaster for your kitchen so that if you are both at work kids can make chicken nuggets and oatmeal and other things by themselves.
-with babies and toddlers if you leave the house without them then they automatically go to daycare for free so that you don't have to heir a nanny every time, kids can be at the house by themselves and the same with teens.
-you can not join 2 couches together, if you have seen other people doing it then it is because they downloaded custom content which allows them to do that.
-you can't get to the ladder with the Fenech there.
-you should get the swings or monkey bars for the kids so they can have fun
-you can get beach towels for outside and then your sims can get a tan but make sure that they have sunscreen on so they don't burn
-You can't get a pool because your house goes into an ocean, it just doesn't make sense to get a pool, you can also get floats to put in the ocean
- Get the perfect patio stuff pack to get hot tubes without a roof
-when you are making the outfits each icon at the top is for something different, the first is every day so that is what your sim will wear every day, the next is formal and that is what the sim will wear when they go to a formal event, then there is activewear which your sim wears when they are working out, then it is party wear which is when the sims go to a party or something, then you have swimwear which is what they wear when they are swimming, there is also hot and cold weather which your sims will automatically change into depending on the weather outside
-you can get a kiddy pool for the toddlers to swim in
-make the kids do their homework so that they level up faster in school
-always do your daily task for work so you can get a promotion also when your sims are at work or school there is a little icon at the right of their head on the little overview of all your sims, if you click it you can control what they are doing at work or school
-if Diane gets pregnant again you should get the get to work expansion pack so that diane can have the baby at the hospital and get a birth certificate

just a few answers to your questions:
- if you search misc. electronics you'll find the video station or something along those lines to make youtube videos, you can also buy a drone that helps record footage and you can live stream on that which gets followers and fame very quickly
- the reason you can't move the rug is because once you've scaled rugs up, it's hard to move them because they basically become part of the floor but there is an undo button at the top
- you can buy a hot tub without a roof with the perfect patio stuff pack- that also comes with some nice patio furniture
- i think you can line up your sofas using the alt key
- this was in the last video but to move the toilet roll, you have to put the walls up and move it down that way

At 34:00 when u accidentally placed that room an didn’t like it. On the top bar there is a back arrow. Click it and your last object or thing u placed will disappear (u get ur money back) :)

If you ever make a mistake, there is an undo button at the top of the screen. If will undo your last placement and get your money back! Love the series by the way! 👌👌
Personally I would swap your bedroom and office around and move your bathroom too. Your office is huge compared to your bedroom! You could then have a door from when you walk in into your office on the left and you can then still have your corner windows overlooking the sea in the bedroom like you had before your office. Love the series!
Loving the series, best episode so far. You said that it would be nice to have a picture of the kids, you can do this by taking a selfie with them by the phone and it saves into your inventory!

In case you need it at some point there’s an undo button on the toolbar at the top.
You can also copy items you already have using the eye dropper tool at the top, instead of having to keep searching for the same thing.
There’s also a design tool to easily change the colour of an object you’ve already placed.

if you want spotlights you can use the lights you have now but scale them down smaller and if you press the ‘e’ on your keyboard you can hover over any object and click and it will copy it, saves you scrolling through items when looking for the same window or mirror etc. when you were trying to move the rug it wouldn’t move because you’ve scaled it up, you can still only click in the sized area of the original size it would have been
also the jet ski wouldn’t go into the water because you had the decking out to the end of the plot and your sims won’t be able to climb down the ladder as you have put the glass fence across it
to get clutter, go onto the objects by room and on the desk in the kids room is some pencils, if you click on that you’ll see lots of different clutter items,
a trick to save money if you want is you can click on a light then auto lights, your lights will turn on and off when you enter or exit rooms,
you could also make dianne a mermaid like the little mermaid,
to move objects up and down do the move objects cheat then click 9 and 0 to move objects up and down, you can use this to put objects onto the empty shelves on the bookshelf,

I think they could get the kitchen out more (matching the living room), then there will be a nice space between the kitchen and the girl's room. They could build Chris's room there and still make the girl's room a little bigger

Here's a few things that will possibly help you with building:
1) You need to search video station to make youtube videos
2)To undo what you have just placed or changes hold 'ctrl z'
3)To rotate objects smoothly, hold down on a object you've place whilst holding alt, then you should be able to twist it.
4)At the top of your screen in build mode there are different options: If you want to duplicate an item you have already placed then click the second icon along, also if you click the next one along from that and then click on an object you can easily change the colour of it, rather than deleting the object then placing it again in a different colour.
5)Also, I could be wrong but I think you have things in your inventory from your apartment that you can see and make back some og the money you just spent.
6)To save money on bills, in live mode click on one of the lights then click auto lights on all lights.
7)If you want a hot tub with no roof, I'm pretty sure there in one in the perfect patio expansion pack

You need to add floating to you lagoon or your deck so that if you need to sleep and you are on the water you can sleep on the water. Love you Guys keep doing what you are doing.

At the very top there are little icons and there is two which are arrows and you can use them to undo the thing you just did which I think could be helpful and there is another one which looks like a hammer and if you use that you can get rid of things you don’t want. Loving the series so far though!

I know you wanted a shoe rack etc so if you go into the “kids room” section and find the pen pot it will say clutter and you can find kitchen decorations, shelves, shoe racks, coat racks and so much more! Please like this so joe and Dianne see this!! ♥️🥰
If you wanted a picture of the kids, on your phones there is an option to take picture or selfie etc once you take one it will go to your inventory where you can then frame to put in your house. Also if you wanted more decorations like candles, shoe racks etc they are on decorations :)
