Something Glock understands: when someone’s buying a glock, they’re trusting their life with it. I know that’s a pretty basic gun-buying mentality, but it seems as though some companies just don’t get it.

It is preferred by police officers for its reliability, simplicity, speed of fire, discretion and prompt employment. Therefore, it has wide acceptance among paramilitary and police forces in the world. In Brazil there are only 3 models for civil use, the models G25, G28 and G42, all with caliber 380 Auto. The 9mm (except G18) and .40 S&W models are for military and police use only, and the 9mm is for military and hunter, shooter and collector use only.
Note: In Brazil weapon calibers, in short, are defined as allowed and restricted. This restriction being linked to the prerogative of its acquisition. In addition to professionals directly or indirectly linked to public safety (Police, Judges, Prosecutors, Armed Forces), R-105 regulated Shooters, Collectors and Hunters can also purchase weapons in restricted calibers. It must comply with current and specific legislation.
Lightweight, safe and accurate precision pistol- type tactical weapon , manufactured from part polymer (frame), part carbon steel with hardened finish (bolt barrel and other small parts). The hardened finish is more corrosion resistant than stainless steel.
There is the G18 model, 9mm caliber, with shot selector, which can operate in the semiautomatic and automatic regime, in which the theoretical speed reaches an impressive 1200 shots per minute. Usually uses the 32-ammunition loader, increasing the firepower of this weapon.
Glock guns feature a Glock Gmbh-patented safe action action that features a set of 3 locks that are automatically released upon trigger release, thus allowing firing. It is neither single action nor double action. It is a Glock proprietary system based on precoated percussion systems.
This pistol has no external locks, which is why people who do not know this gun consider it unsafe.
The first lock is on the trigger itself. It is a tongue that only allows the trigger stroke when it is pressed by the shooter finger at the moment of firing. The second lock is that of the firepin. The striker is released only after the trigger is triggered, thus allowing the trigger. The third lock prevents accidental firing from falling weapons. Contrary to popular belief, Glock, when it has ammunition in the chamber, is not "cocked". Trigger actuation finishes pushing the striker backwards, arming the mechanism, which is only released at the end of the trigger stroke. Thus, Glock, even with ammunition in the chamber, cannot make accidental shots, as the trigger mechanism is only "cocked" at the end of the trigger stroke.
Standard armament of the Austrian Army , also used by the FBI , GIGN, US Navy Seals and today by the Federal Police and Federal Highway Police of Brazil, the latter in a transition phase to change arms.
In 1980 , the Glock pistol was developed by engineer Gaston Glock. Known around the world as a "plastic pistol", it is named after the large number of parts made of special high density synthetic material. Glock's construction is considered simple and modern. As an optional accessory, Glock can provide additional chargers.
There are currently other models in the .380 Auto (G42) and .45 Auto (G41) gauges, as well as generations like Gen3 and Gen4.

In Italy a lot of people don't like the Glock because of the plastic and they are patriotic to the Beretta, personally I think the Glock is a fantastic piece of kit.
Beretta and Glock both make quality guns.

i am a proud owner of a Gen 3 19, but ive owned another 19, a 23, and was issued a 21 by my agency i worked for 20 years ago. Fine pistols indeed.
I have an old gen 3, but it has never hadan issue to this day as long as I keep it maintained. I am probably going to upgrade to a gen 5 soon though unless a gen 6 is around the corner then I'll wait.
I've owned many brands, I always come back to Glock.

I run a Glock 17 Gen4 for fun at the range. Over 10k rounds fired. Never malfuction, no jam no miss fire, no double feed, nothing. And i run a G41 for home defense. Glock is simple the best.

The case my glock 19 came in is absolutely crap. The plastic clips consistently fall off. The gun is perfect though. Thumbs up for the that my most accurate gun I own....and it was my first pistol.

In the past I said I'd never own another Glock, but I learned about the Gen 5 Glock and it's features.. I now love my Glock 17 Gen 5 because it's so accurate and the night sights are great and the trigger is too.

@@krishankansal86 That’s funny you say that. I went shooting a few days ago. I shot a Glock 17, Sig P320 and a CZ CP10. The Glock was the only gun that didn’t send the casings hitting me in the head or down my shirt. After 70 rounds I was hitting my mark and dodging most of those casings from hitting me in the face. However my friends Glock 43 was hitting me in the face as I stood 10 feet behind him. They were bouncing off the ceiling, and hitting the shooting lane divider walls. It’s a combo of the ammo possibly being lower quality and/or the gun preferring certain ammo.
As of July 2020 my first ever fire arm I bought is a glock 17 gen 4 and I love it.

The customer service from this company is second to none. I went down to Glock in Smyrna and they replaced about two pages of parts in my ol LE trade in Glock 21 SF for free! Also hooked me up with some sights and installed them for way less than they cost at the store. Super friendly, very accommodating.

He wasn’t going there to purchase a firearm. He was taking it there to have it serviced. Having been to the Symrna, GA location many times, it’s just like it is in this video. An armorer will meet you in the waiting room and take your pistol back to be serviced and then return with it and walk you through what was done

@@Packinheat1175 10 Rnd & 5Rnd &6Rnd - different parts of Canada ( 🇨🇦 ) - different years - different authorities that gun owners have negotiated with at different years - those kinds of topics.
Whatservice Tojoin yes it is 10 rounds for handguns and 5 for centre fire semi automatic rifles.

We love being a Glock dealer at my store, however if it is perfection, why do we still only have a one year manufacturer warranty?
Viking Outdoors SXS I was almost going to say “you nailed it” but remembered that Kia cars comes with 10 years or 100k miles warranty but don’t even last that longer. With Glock you actually don’t need more warranty: they are perfect 👌
I own 2 Glock firearms. A G17 gen4 and a G43X. Both of them perform flawlessly. I have over 10,000 rounds through the 17 without a single failure. The 43X has been on my hip since I bought it last month, and has so far put 500 rounds on the paper without any issues. I agree that a longer warranty isn't needed
@@Mike-pb2to you are missing the point, I also carry a 43x and have since the week they came out. I've also been shooting Glocks for tens of thousands of rounds, however that does not stop me for wanting a lifetime warranty for what I've seen come through my store. Whether it needs it or not is not the issue. The issue is, if it is that good then it should have a lifetime warranty, when there are subpar guns that have lifetime warranties.

I bought G19gen5 a few weeks ago and I love it :) I had lot of CZ's, Grand Power's etc. but this is my first Glock. Some details annoying me little bit, but it is ok - weirdly gray extractor and really premature wear on barrel even by dry firing her, which I was told it's not bug it's Gen 5 feature (tighter tolerances). Cheers from Czech rep.

I just got a Glock 26 brand new out of 400 rounds 100 of them failure to feed, extract, and to lock back after emptying a magazine extremely disappointing had to send it back to Glock.

Became a LEO in 2021. At the time, I could not afford a new service weapon. My dad gave me his Gen 2, 22. Shot many rounds through it. I had to only replace the extractor after it failed. A very reliable handgun indeed. I now own a Gen 5, 22. Love it even more.
I recommend every Glock worker open Carry’s a Glock in case someone try’s to rob the Glock store with a Glock……

I own multiple they are not perfect if I modify each of them to make them better. My hkvp9 was out the box perfection for me or the staccato xl was no offense to glock but you make them perfect they aren't perfect out the box.
