That capelet is gorgeous, and the little summer top is so pretty. I'm looking forward to working with both patterns in the future, though I might need wider straps on my top I think. I haven't worked much with cotton before so that will be a learning experience, thanks for the useful tip about hook size.
Thanks, Wendy! You can make the straps wider, just stop decreasing early. A tester for the striped top just did this, I'll share photos when the testers are done.
All your designs are so beautiful! Your skills are fantastic. It's hard to choose a favorite, but the red capelet... I can't wait to make that. Sorry if I missed it in this video, but I don't know when the testing for that capelet starts, or when the pattern will be released (if testing is done)? :)
Oh, I forgot to ask: I am reading on your website about the Plumaria capelet. It says "The PDF formatted in my style will we available 4 months after the launch of the magazine, which happens on August 17th 2023". But I can't find the pattern for sale on your website. Is it not available yet or am I looking in the wrong place?
Yeah, I still need to format and publish the Plumaria capelet. I'm a bit swamped with the summer tops, so the red one will also have to wait a bit before we start testing. The Larimar capelet, light blue that I showed last month, is still in testing, so I will assume the red one will also take three months.
Good afternoon! Your capelet is amazing! So beautiful! ❤️ your designs!
Thank you, Dara!
The deep red goes so well with that shawl. I think I will feel confident enough to be a tester by fall. I super enjoy looking at your monthly updates.
That sounds great! What are you working on?
@@YarnAndy a summer top and a shawl. 😏 only my second top. Learning a lot. Working my way up to a cardigan.
Oh, awesome! I think you're more ready for testing than you might realize.

Good morning 🌞 thank you for sharing all your works can't wait to see what you make. I have to learn to read patterns. Im more of a visual learner ❤
Good morning to you too, Alison! Take it easy, one stitch at a time. It will become obvious once you try a few patterns.
