For all the people who are thinking to start AI/ML, think twice. This field is very different than development, for this you need to have a very good grasp in mathematics like linear algebra, calculas, matrices. You need to have very good knowledge of deep learning, neural networks, these are very complicated subjects to grasp.
Not trying to diminish this field, i myself am in this field, but dont jump on the AI trend just because its in demand, do your research first about what is required to get good in this field, otherwise you will be wasting years of your life and will think you could have choosen something else.
And for anyone who is prepared to get in this field and know the challenges involved in this, let me tell you this is the most interesting field in tech right now, you will learn to think about things very deeply and very discreetly. This field is just at its baby stage, and it is going to revolutionise our society as a whole, so be proud that you are involved in this.

I am a senior and an advanced level software engineer and totally agree with him whenever I have conversation with my clients (mostly from the USA) they always demand to finish work using AI and want the work done in a very short time. It's really very scary for the new and intermediate developers, so my advice is also the same for all the freshers and intermediate level developers, do practice hard and strengthen your skills to become an advanced level er, if you really want your existence in the software industry.

So, kindly make a video on the careers which are very much unlikely to be replaced by AI OR the careers which will boost up due to AI. I know it is impossible to predict the future. But, I would love to know your insights on this topic.
Agriculture is a good field to get into and do a business of organic food because demand for organic food is increasing world wide and it will never go down like a new tech skill that just stay in demand for few years and then gets obsolete. Future in agriculture is bright. I'm also leaving tech option and going into agriculture happily. At least you know how to grow food and can easily survive in case of wars and famine. Good luck

As per I can see in industry, the way owner looking for AI adoption in 3yrs from 2024 jobs vacancies will get to more 50%
In 8-10 years it will go upto 90%. 10% willl remain safe for smoothy human touch.
After 5-7 years other jobs like farming, supply chain, labour work jobs will also get reduced more 40%
But the best part is anyone with less budget can also able to start high tech startup due to cheap labour and AI
So focus on starting anything of your own

I don't think Devin is an issue, but the way it is going, GPT, GPT4, then DEVIN, it is good to say that new threat after Devin would be big, and upcoming 10 years would be game changing. And to work in new era we will need to design our own game, The most impact will be on new freshers like me who haven't entered in the field but are in the middle of entering the field. The only way we can go on is by being professional in our work, AI can make existing stuff but it cannot make anything NEW from scratch that fact will remain till we die, AI CANNOT MAKE ANYTHING NEW BECAUSE IT WORKS ON EXISTING DATA. All we can do, as being freshers is adapt to this change, and prepare ourselves for the next upcoming threat. This fact remains for workers in existing work fields too, because this isn't a threat, But the next one might be.
AT the End , the only person who can exist in these times are the ones who would constantly look for opportunities and adapt to the change. Change comes, all you can do is go with the flow.
In a same way average humans can never create something new...most of the times it is inspired by predesigned software or algorithms...only top 0.1% scientist have the ability to make something new
I admit that after 10 years only professional developers remain but being an professional developer takes more then 10 years and we cannot only learn for next 10 years without earning. That's the problem.

Trust me, after all this, no. of people preparing for govt jobs will increase in next 4-5 years, atleast in India, as govt will always be reluctant to adopt AI (despite the fact that govt is squeezing its share in job market these days through privatisation) but a middle class Indian will always give priority to "security" of job.

I have been following your Videos. Harry. Sometimes, it is better to take a bitter pill. Your Video comes at a right time, when mostly many of our children will opt for a career, preparing for JEE and spending 4 years of rigorous time in a college studying something, that will be obsolete in near future. There are many videos out there, that promises no threat from Devin. But we really don't know how many enterprises like cognizance are already preparing something disruptive. with GPT people were calm, but GPT4 pulled away their chair. Here is the most important steps how can you secured your place (dimak me ghush lena ek bar le ya ss lekar save kar lena warna kosna kudko fir future mai )
Steps
1. Firstly make sure in which field did you really want to go
2. Then take a programming for your skill (like python, ruby & julia, etc )
3. Firstly focus on your main skill language and on other hand also learn some basics concepts of other languages side by side but first focus on the your main language understand batkane ki jarurat nhi hai jada ki ye bhi karna hai wo bhi karna hai ek cij ko hi god level ka sikh lo bas.
4. Complete and clear all the basics ( main thing if you doesn't clear your basics you will lose everything.)

Thanks for the helpful info and confirming my thoughts, I never learned coding and thought of it like its not necessary and no code tools are better and I can survive in marketing field like this. But after the passage of time and because of my interest in AI I realized that if I want to earn big and If I want to be competent in upcoming era I will need to learn ai so now I started learning python so I can go in ML or data science field later on.

This AI revolution is so fast and we can't predict anytime even about the next year, because at the end of 2022 and beginning of 2023 everyone thought that text to image models need some more years to come and text to videos model could take 2-3 years, but we all know how much time it took, same as this everyone thought AI couldn't take creative jobs but the first job acquired by AI were of creative jobs. Actually as this we couldn't able to predict future, the rate of growth of AI is like a blast, So i feel AI is disrupting all the other fields and we must leave it or become the top 1% in these field, AI will not take 100% for jobs but companies will only hire a single person who can use AI and optimistically make the workdone just the no.of employees for that specific work will reduce from 100 to just 5 or even 1 or 2.
I feel AI will just help us to upgrade to high level, AI can do all the technical jobs that humans are capable of because AI have been trained on the data that's already in work, so it's time to upgrade to a new technology like spatial computing, VR, Blockchain tech, quantum tech and computing.
Humans are made to be creative and evolve, we must evolve from web or app development to new techs that still AI don't know to develop.

In my opinion, AI will reduce the number of s/w engineers. Say if there is a requirement of 100 s/w engineers right now, after 5 years it would be 20. So 80 percent s/w engineers will be jobless. Now the question is whether AI or any other new technology will create more job opportunities or atleast the same number of jobs that are lost. If not then the world economy or the economy of the countries where s/w engineers play a major role will crash. And I think no government would want that. Moreover in economy, everything is connected. So if s/w engineering jobs are getting effected, then all other jobs will take a toll as well. For eg; if 30 auto drivers are making a livelihood by transporting the 100 engineers to work, then when the number of s/w eng becomes 20, number of autos required will also decrease. If 5 tea sellers are there for 100 engineers in an office campus now, it would come down to 1. SO I think world leaders are definitely thinking about the impact of AI and its solution. We should not worry too much about it and should keep doing what ever we are doing right now. If you are thinking that whats the point of learning programming languages right now, then would you suggest a current 6th grade student not to learn Mathematics as eventually AI is going to solve all the problems?? Think about it and stay positive.
