I just went to Pat's this last saturday, had an absolute blast. Now i wanna give a league night a try and these videos are great, helps me study the optimal drive line and what these karts are capable of. Maybe ill see you guys out there one day!
Hope to see you out there! There is a Rookie class that runs which sounds like would be perfect for you! Racing for positions is very different than just trying to get the fastest lap, but it is a ton of fun!
@@spencergiles72 I’ll for sure be in the rookie class my first time out. I did two sessions, first one I was getting my bearings straight, got lapped by one guy. Second session I started in the very back, but made headway with a bunch of overtakes. Even pulled off a double overtake on the corner before the carousel corner, still riding high from that. But my fastest time is still way off the pace so I need more practice. Just wish it wasn’t so pricey 😬
@@MylesField It can definitely get a bit pricey. For what it is worth, the $100 league night gets you essentially 5 sessions (Practice, Qualifying, Heat 1, Heat 2 and a Final) all of which are 10 min or longer. They also do trophies every night for all three classes. So, overall considering all the track officials and the time running, it isnt too bad of a deal.
@@spencergiles72 ya league night looks like where it’s at! I def gotta get some more practice sessions in before I go for a league night, feel like I’d get smoked with my current pace. $28 for just 10 mins is pretty rough. I’ve come down with a bad case of a racing bug tho so I won’t let the price keep me away.
@@MylesField Check out SyKart in Tigard as well. It is a very different driving style because it is indoor but gets you seat time and is less expensive.
She did awesome! This was her first race for positions (as opposed to fastest lap times) and she handled it really well! There were some great passes and she did not let anyone push her around too much! :) I am very happy for her progress! She came off the track absolutely stoked about racing haha.
