Dave Lombardo is King metal drumming beast. I knew that was him before I even saw who it was just by the sound of his snare. Sure not Paul bostaph he got nothing on Dave... 🤙I believe that's when he was using ddrums. Just not the same without Jeff( RIP)and Dave! South of Heaven the best album they ever did. Love me some hell awaits & show no mercy too.
What about Mario from gojira? He's a beast as well, dave lombardo is the godfather of double bass

The most devastating one two heavy punch live since early Sabbath And Led Zeppelin. Beyond awesome! Slayer with Dave and Jeff are Sabbath played at peak Zeppelin Achilles last stand speed all the time! That's why they are my third favorite heavy band ever! 4th make it Kyuss.
This is a great version of Mandatory. Tom’s vocals just off the beat towards the end with Jeff’s wailing make it even crazier 🤘

I never got to see original slayer line up whjch sucks saw them in 2013 and 2016 bostaph is a good drummer sure but dave was best drummer they had too bad king and araya choose him over dave and couldn't resolve the money issue for dave

God Jeff’s riffs were so awesome but that Solo in Spill the Blood was terrible.
I thought that was the point of the Slayer solo. It's supposed to sound terrible.
