Not all games that are mobile are bad, but the regulations for quality here are even worse than the Nintendo. And that's saying quite a lot.
If you look at the publisher names, they're all asian names and many of the games are by the same publisher. At least, I think that's how the app store works. Is there a sweatshop in Korea or China where programmers are being forced to make awful iPad games?

When I first got my tablet I actually played a few of these awful games before finding some decent ones. If Baby Stomach "Surgery" is rated 17+ for "frequent/intense/ medical/treatment information", imagine what the more realistic medical games I've played that involved *actual surgery*, like removing bulging infected tonsils with blood, must be like!

I don't know if you've ever heard of The World Ends With You by Square Enix, but it's a pretty cool game and they have an IOS port for it. The only downside is that it's pretty expensive and actually takes up 4 gigs of data instead 2 like it says in the description. But it's actually a great game.
Square Enix has a bunch of their game for IOS Chrono Trigger, Final Fantasy VI, Secret of Mana ect.

Monument Valley, FTL, Superbrothers Sword and Sworcery EP, Rymdkapsel, Impossible Road and The Room games are all great games. Although, I wouldn't recommend anyone buying an iPad only for gaming, iOS devices do have some interesting titles that are as good as some 3DS and Vita games.
