Welcome to our channel! In today's video, we'll be talking about gated communities and why they may be right for you. I'll be going over some of the perks and taking you on 5 quick drive through tours of communities in the Daytona Beach area.
1. Spruce Creek Fly-In: This neighborhood isn't just a gated community, it's also a unique aviation community, so if you're into planes or you have your own private plane, this community is for you. Entrances here are manned 24 hours a day with a security guard. There is a restaurant on site that is open to the public, but otherwise, you need to live in the community or be invited by a resident in order to head inside.
Since it's an aviation community, you'll find some homes in here will have hangars attached, so you can pull right out of your driveway and on to the runway. You'll also find a private airport, golf course here in the community as well as a country club, fitness center, athletic facilities and they host tons of community events like their Spruce Creek Toy Parade.
2. Latitude Margaritaville: This is a massive 55+ community in Daytona Beach that has everything you could ever want. All access points are gated here. With some of the best amenities around, this community really feels more like a private and secure resort than it does a neighborhood.
A few of their amenities include a resort style pool, several athletic courts and a private beach club with a free shuttle service for resident only. Also in the community is a restaurant, fitness center, dog groomer, and so much more.
3. Villages of Royal Palm: This community requires a code for access through the gate, and offers some pretty unique amenities. If you have been looking for a home in a community that's going to be pretty much maintenance free, then this is the neighborhood for you and you'll get lots of perks including maintenance to the exterior of your home including exterior paint, lawn maintenance, pest control and pressure washing.
They also have great amenities that will keep you busy all day, including a pool, fitness center, and community club house where they host many community events, and tennis and pickle ball courts.
4. Chelsea Place: The community has two entrances that require a code to enter the neighborhood. Chelsea Place was built by ICI, so you know the homes are going to be stunning in here and it's central location to everything that's happening in Ormond is fantastic. You can easily head to downtown Ormond on Granada Blvd and participate in some of their many community events like their wine and art walks and the Ormond Beach Seafood Festival.
They also have excellent amenities in this neighborhood including a community pool and clubhouse, lawn maintenance, internet and beautiful common areas for you to enjoy.
5. Portofino Reserve: While the master community of Venetian Bay itself is not a gated community, Portofino Reserve is. This is such a stunning neighborhood and the homes are absolutely beautiful in here. Paytas Homes has built out this community with their Reserve Collection, and with tile roofs, paver driveways and luxury features everywhere you turn, this neighborhood is hard to pass up.
Venetian Bay itself, has plenty of dining & entertainment options for you right in the neighborhood including a golf course, gym, day spa, a few restaurants, plenty of walking/biking trails and more. You'll have the option to join the Swim Club and Tiki Bar, where you'll have access to their resort style adult and kiddie pool, their tiki bar and participate in all of the community events being held there.

I've never visited Hallandale, but I Googled it, and it does look like a beautiful city. Definitely a different scene down there in SOFL than what we have here in Central!
