Loved the video, just the type of foundation I’m loving right now. That Lumene glow serum is a balm, I’m a fan. It’s invisible and makes you skin look incredible, so so beautiful on skin. I hope they never discontinue. Thank you Caroline for another great video 😍

Love the Lumene brand. Their Pressed serum and vitamin C oil mix which is not really, it’s divine. I thought the serum in the shade was a thick foundation but I’ll try it next time I see it. They also do a lovely blush in a dropper that you don’t need very much of
Thanks for another great video. I have tried and love both Lumene and Charlotte Tilbury ones. Lumene for everyday all-over youthful glow and CT for those days I want more glowing finish. I use both mostly under my foundation.

I don't wear foundation either but I love glow tints like Philosophy's Hope in a Jar and Missha BB cream.
Thanks Caroline. I'm one of those people who just can't wear full foundation because I've never been used to wearing it, but now at 58 I definitely need something to mask my lines & Sun damage!! The Lumene looked lovely on you so I may give it a try. I can also recommend Trinny London bff which I use at the moment in light/medium. It's a really lovely product💕

Thanks for another video,, you look fresh and glowy 😊my favourite Hollywood filter does wonder for my skin in very small dosage as there’s only one step from glowy to oily look if you have an oily skin( like most of us- Eastern Europeans)The brand Lumen brings nostalgic feelings as I remember it from years ago in Poland as very popular and good quality. Good to see its comeback 😊
YAS, Saturday is Caroline Day! Every time I click on a new video I smile like a goon. I'm desperate to try the CT Flawless Filter, it'll be my next splurge once I've emptied out my COVER FX Illuminating Primer, which is another lovely, lightweight illuminating product, that's also vegan! WIN! I use it just on the t-zone of my face, and a little on my cheeks, to keep it concentrated in the middle. On those days when I don't have time to do foundation, when the kids are late for school and I need a bit of a boost, these type of products are a God send! Wow THT first foundation you spoke about is GORGEOUS !! I found it on Amazon but it’s $92.00!!!😮😮 all these products are gorgeous just very expensive , I’m 61 and I love a nice glow on my skin to make my skin appear youthful, tfs you are beautiful!!!🎉

Caroline-lovely video, as always. I was really pleased to see Sisley's Instant Eclat Glow Primer featured. I have been using it for about a year. It's a dream. As I'm fair and have some slight pigmentation growing up under the LA sun, I use it as a highlighter, over my Surratt Beauty makeup, on my cheekbones, crown and a touch on my nose. It's a delight and a beautiful consistency.
The Lumêne product looks very interesting. Will see if I can source that somewhere here in The States.

Thank you so much for addressing this! I've never worn foundation even with full eye makeup or a red lip and now in my 50's, I just need something! Everything I try feels heavy and makes me look worse. Glad that you included the Sisley product because I recently purchased it! Love your channel. Now, if there were only a similar solution for concealer...

Looking lovely, you are! Don’t know if we can get those here in Colorado? Charlotte perhaps but know about other Ones? Love the dewey, natural look. I will suggest to my sister who has never worn foundation as she fears will look too heavy. She needs the brightness though as she is 55 and would probably really like one of these!
Caroline! I love this video, it is exactly what I need, I would buy one of each!....But....I've only just watched it now 2 years later. Can you please pretty please do an updated one with the same criteria? I was very excited about the Bobbi Brown but they don't do the pink anymore (+ I'd worry the Bare Glow may have the yellowish tone you recommended against?). Also the Topshop is discontinued.

I totally agree on Sensai and Lumene. I have combination-dry-sensitive-pores-blackheads-shine-problem, and both of these work really nicely for me. Sometimes I use L’Oréal true match liquid foundation on top of either of these. Not a huge difference comparing with Sensai’s own liquid foundations, which are far more expensive than L’Oréal.

I am using the sensai for a couple of months and I really love it. Sometimes I wear only this and sometimes I combine it Sith the sheer lumious foundation It a great combination

I’m loving Lumene at the moment. Ive tried a few things. From the hydrating range, and also i have the Serum foundation, which is so nice as you say. Such a lovely brand. Ive heard they have been around for years but just not in the UK. If i want a little more coverage than it offers i have mixed in some Boots No7 pigment drops, which is my latest find. Such a lightweight formula but the coverage is excellent. It covers pigmentation, age spots and blends beautifully.

Great topic because you can incorporate these products in different ways depending on how much makeup you like!! Does anyone know of a product like the Bobbi Brown or the Lumene ones that do not have any fragrance? Thanks for any help!!
Hi. Not related to this video but I wanted ask some advice about layering bronzer and blusher. I prefer a cream blush (maturer skin in my 40's) but I prefer to use a powder bronzer so I use a powder blush as I feel like it makes sense to use all powder rather than putting cream on top of powder. Do you have any general advice about this - mixing or layering cream and powder products or is it best to stick to just powders or just creams? I dont really have a good cream bronzer. Hope that makes sense - if you have covered this before I am sorry I havent seen it so let me know and I can check thank you Caroline!!!
Caroline , could you combine the Charlotte tilbury with say , Estée Lauder double wear to make it more dewy ? I just bought double wear and don’t really like how it is so flat ! Thank you x

Lumene is not as expensive as Sensai, and it contains goodies that would save you a separate serum.
Products look lovely but ooh they're expensive (apart from Top Shop) - do you know if any do trial/travel sizes? I bought CT Hollywood Flawless Filter which is lovely but it'd be nice to try something a little more subtle for 'every day' but couldn't afford these ones x
Is the Bobbi Brown one too thick for combination skin? Also, I’m neutral, but have been told I’m warm and cool. Been recommended yellow and pink bases. The reasoning the yellow (MAC prep and prime) was recommended is because they said it would cancel the pink/red and the pink one would make me more red. What do you think? Thanks!!

I find it sooo hard to put foundation over sunscreen (I mostly use mineral sunscreen which feels thicker)... May be something like the Charlotte tilbury glow would feel better and look nicer too? Thx again! xxx

I think she wears Light. Same as me. The medium shade is very yellow. Light is amazing on my skin,

The Clarins SOS primer in "Universal Light" is also phenomenal for adding radiance.

Light or medium on the lumene??
I also like the glowy but unfortunately I have oily skin so I do not dare put me this kind of product.could you give us tips for oily skin and at the same time have a luminous skin

My Go to hydrating Primer under my CC Cream every morning is the almost forgotten Burberry Fresh Glow Luminous fluid base in shade 2 golden radiance because it gives the skin a nice summer glow and feels so hydrating too, I have sensitive combination skin and it doesn't break me out, it's amazing, and the by Terry cellularose brightening CC Serum is my number 2 if I'm having a moment of more oily skin in summer, then this is lovely too, thank you for your recommendations 😊
