Filling a Pistol Magazine

A lot of students struggle in the beginning figuring out how to fill a double stack magazine. While it takes some dexterity, its easy once you get a rhythm. Use 3 fingers to support the round to be filled on all sides. Support thumb presses down on top round in mag, firmly press the rounds down, under the feed lips, and use your thumb to slide it all the way back. That's it! Practice and it becomes second nature.
Notice the word "fill" rather than "load". Load guns, fill mags- important distinction from accidentally giving someone the wrong instructions at the wrong time.

My M17 mag is stiff as fuck because it’s basically brand new, and I’m having a hell of a time getting the 21st and final round into the mag lmfao
Edit: I just decided to use my head, and stuck the mag into the gun with only 20 rounds in it. I then chambered a round, and replaced the round I just chambered by putting another one in the mag lol
Edit again: I ended up just muscling it in.

@@jblz86 How? In what universe is loading a round into the chamber dangerous? That’s what it’s for. I’m not a fool, I know proper gun safety. And I ended up just muscling it into the mag after I wrote this anyways.

@@lulkd800 Yeah. The newer the mag, the stiffer the spring, therefore it’ll be harder to load a large amount of rounds into them at the start. Although with a moderate amount of muscle, it’s possible. I got it after a while.

I'm having the same problem , I'm practicing loading mine but , I think because it's new I'm struggling to get the last 2 in there .
They have a quick loader that makes it easy to load .
