I saved my brothers life with one 2 months ago after he rolled mine and the cage landed on his arm. Be safe, ride another day.

Then again, one of the drawbacks to highly modified vehicles is that it messes with how a lot of the safety devices work (things like beefier front bumpers). Probably best to have a proper harness for things like this (and helmets). Regardless, the main thing is that everyone is OK. Just be careful guys so you can keep having fun and making entertaining videos for all your fans.
A tabletop would've been less impressive, but at least it would've let you guys down easier. I think starting with a tabletop, figuring out speeds and launch/landing zones would've been less damaging and you could always remove the unneeded mid part after getting the jumps and speeds consistent.

Simple answer is the sensors didn't experience enough force to trip their trigger. I guess was manufactured with the expectation to be banged around some, so it uses a stiffer coil, or retainer, or whatever depending on what type of airbag system it is.
No air bags cause was not that hard a hit. It skipped over the edge. But head on. They should have at least had restraints right and neck and helmets. That being said, i love to see crazy on youtube.

@@TheTripleFCollection My guess? Airbags only deploy in certain accidents and usually triggered by sensors in the bumpers. Its possible your hit was too low, under the sensors so they never triggered the bags to go off.

I'm a physical therapist and have been practicing for 25 years. The gentleman in the passenger seat is fortunate he didn't herniate discs in his cervical spine. However, it can take months before the effects of that kind of whiplash can be felt. He might wake up one morning after sleeping on his pillow the wrong way and not be able to turn his head. I hope that's not the case but I'm not sure he's out of the woods yet as far as neck injury goes.
