Good job DK! Make sure you do the 9m as he says, which is the connection furthest from the kite. We accidentally did the 3m extension closer to the kite while rigging it up in a hurry, don't make the same mistake we did!

I have a Lift 9m and 14m and I have now flown both using the high-v configuration - The results are unreal! The stiffness of the canopy in overpowered conditions is unreal. The wind range in this kite is amazing and even more noticeable with this configuration - my only question is that after looping the kite is hard to see which way to spin the center lines as they are so close together that is hard to tell - not a big deal and not sure if this is the case in any high-v bars out there. I just loop it the other way :-)

If I mod my airush bar and lines with this, could i possibly use it for other high V kite brands like Doutone and Core kites?

How does the Airush Union fly with the High-Y configuration??
I have a set of kites including Lift and the Union and would like not to change around with the bar when shifting kites
    Thanks!

The Union V6 was not designed to be flown on the High-Y bar setup, but it is possible to do so, as all the safety features will still be operational. The High-Y will change the forward flying, turning and power delivery characteristics of the kite to varying extents dependent on the kite size and also have an effect on the bar and steering input pressure, again to varying levels dependent on the kite size used on.

Didnt have to remove the pigtails while installing the ring.. hope my lines are good.

Hi Rudi, we actually made the ring that ships with the kites slightly bigger after this video was made, which means there is no need to remove the pigtails during install. Your setup will be FINE! Cheers DK

Awesome, I added the ring and didn't have to remove pigtails as well. It makes it really easy now to go from high-v to low-v as I use the bar with other kites. Would the high-v configuration work with other high-v brands like duotone or core? I'm not changing my kites but would be nice to know. Thank you

Que se gana poniéndole la anilla??

Poniendo la Y más cerca de la cometa hace que su estructura sea más rígida y evita el alabeo con lo que gana más en prestación.

    Why?

This High-Y configuration preference enhances depower & control of the kite.
