Jhin still had a 4th shot in the cinematic battle. My guess is he lured her close and gravely wounded her but them fled as more reinforcements flooded in.
@@fireemblemaddict128 And Camille had the situation analyzed with her passive (you can see her eyes flashing orange before she goes in). Camille is seen reacting to a lightning bolt in her release comic, so a bullet would not be fast enough to go through her defences especially with her shielding.

Yo, what if "The Patron" is actually Kusho. He believed in Zed's ideal but couldn't follow through because he was The Eye of Twilight. So in order to keep balance, he hatched a plan where they would fake his death, making Shen the Eye by succession, and he could support Zed's order from the shadows

At the end of the comic, after Zed finally kills Master Kusho, he and Kayn discuss how the patron has betrayed them, very clearly talking about someone other then Kusho.
I think the dark stuff around Riven's eyes are to lessen the effect of sun glare especially when she's going to be fighting in an arena almost all day, under the sun, until she's out.

The whole jhin, shen, zed, kyan story is amazing, I just binged the comics after reading the stories and it was amazing, great writing, great characters, an amazing twist I probably should have seen coming but admitidly didn’t. Honestly one of the best storylines in the entire mythos
I think another intereeting reveal would be how Jhin survived Camille. In Awaken she was a fraction of a millisecond from slicing his head clean off. Camille's entire champion theme is precision, so it sounds extremely unlikely that she would miss. So how did Jhin escape?
She got blasted by his fourth shot which most likely fucked her robo body up and so he probably left her there and after reinforcements came
Is no one gunna talk about shen and zed's face reveal? They don't even look identical to each other but either way, they are still brothers.
If you think Camille is dead then you really don't know who you're talking about/who she is. Her whole lore point is: she is always one step ahead of EVERY enemy. She detects every detail, every muscle spasm and notion of intent with her hextch body, and then reacts offensively and defensively with extreme precision. She is not someone who gets caught in traps like a reckless person would. Jhin is a genious, that is basically why he survived her and escaped.. But KILLING her? She would never put herself in a position to be easliy outsmarted by him, and even if he did land his shot (after missing all 3), she has hextech shields to block it. If we were talking about Cait or Vi then yes, id agree. Camille is a whooooooole different level

I think that should happen before Zed contacted Shen. Or it might be after all of this.
I don’t think so because the piece they showed was Shen teaching Akali how to fight the spirit. And I might be wrong but I remember them saying the mini series is more about learning the land of different regions rather then the lore of the characters.

Honestly Zed’s last
explanation sounds reasonable. Assuming that clans follow some sort of right of
conquest, if zed beat Kusho in a fair fight he'd become the leader of the clan
because nobody would follow a defeated master and that's what Zed didn't want.
He didn't want to change or erase Kinkou he just wanted his own order that was
meant to fight off the invasion, so killing Kusho cowardly was a smart
"outside the box" move to solve his dilemma, because in the story it
is also mentioned that they have a name for those who killed their masters,
meaning that it is frowned upon and considered injust. Also he knew that Shen
was also trying to keep Noxus away and that he'd become the eye of the twilight.

As I just read the last comic of zed's story, I can say it right now : you are a brilliant genius Necrit. I was also disappointed by this "revealed" reason as to why zed killed Master Kusho, but the fact that kayn has to speak to a "patron" that isn't zed, the fact that the navori free'd jhin and that neither zed or shen free'd him, leaving not much choices left for who did it, and the shaky explanation of zed for Kusho's death were all hints as to what was gonna happen. Well done Necrit again.

I think that zed didn't stab kusho, but kusho offered his death by himself since zed was stubborn, so the kinku doesn't turn to (another fighting clan) so that is the best thing he could do for his disciple and Shen and the kinku order, by sacrificing himself.
There are currently four people below the theater stage
Shen, Zed, Akali, and Camille. Not much known if Camille is captured or not, since she's nowhere to be seen.
This either ends up in the perfect 4 shots or Jhin dies.
I doubt that the tied up civilians aren't rigged with explosives.
I find it really interesting how so many know noxian in piltover, I mean it kinda makes it feel like noxus really is the global super power.

the paint on rivens face is to keep the sun out of her eyes so she can fight freely without any distractions it was something that some gladiators used to do because alot of arenas didnt have covers for the fighters but only for the audience

dont think jhin had what it takes to take down camille after all her body was made to withstand gunshots as she have proven a lot of times so best bet is he knocked her back and escaped while she regained her stabilty and her health cause she also has insane healing (also proven in her story)

i actually like the twist... out of everything it makes the most sence. And works well with how zed thinks.I dont feel like it should be a GIANTspected reveal, i m happy with it being a litlle unexpected but still a great way of further explaining zed.

@@jahsuo4254 well Necrit theorized that Swain's demon is a different one since Fiddlesticks in his voicelines simply refers to demon champions by their names (Tahm Kench or Nocturne for example). So, when he encounters Swain apparently he doesn't try to scare him, instead he utters a single word -"Raum" if i remember correctly- which could possibly be the demon's name

Gladiators use ash and cole to blacken their eyeparties. Its used to prevent the gladiators from blindlings by sun or shields.

He can survive to Camille because all of champion need Tobe alive that's all isn't that impossible to believe it that you need to keep alive the heroes in lore because if they died then that's doesn't make any sense in the game.

There have also been concept art found from SIXMOREVODKA. Which include: Annie, Ryze, Vayne, Ahri, and pre-reworked Morgana.
Looks like they have been working on this game for a long time. Probably after summer 2018 because Riot always works 12 to 6 months in advance of everything and Morg and Kayle got their rework early 2019.
We haven't found the art for the champs that will be added but we did find the concept art for Riven. It's just her in-game model, I believe they will change some clothing. Who knows

Well, we know what happened to Jhin, but I hope we get some sort of explanation for what happened to Camille afterwards.
football players and soldiers face paint usually plaints black around the eyes that adsorbs light, that is to deflect and protect their eyes from the sun or an exes of light, riven might have wanted to achieve the same effect.
My guess is that the navori brotherhood to kidnap and indoctrinate yevnai’s sons (which legends of runeterra revealed that they typically do), so she traded then knowledge of Jhin’s whereabouts to protect them.
What if master Kusho is actually Zed?

about the black thing around riven eyes. It was normal for gladiators to have some sort of black paint in their face. It reflects the sunlights and could blind enemies.
another nice detail is that Jhin calls Akali "little leaf" , u see , when u pick Jhin with the game in italian Jhin tells a little poem about leaves , of course it's actually a methaphor for soldiers but yeha here u go

As a Kayn main, i fear Kayn may have revealed Jhins location in the first place. Zed asks shen so many times if he has any idea of who released him and there are 4 ppl who actually know the location, Zeds biggest fear could come true next issue which explains why zed looks so pissed! Btw dont forget Kayn hates Noxus, wouldnt he free a psychopath that could be used as a tool to kill Noxians? or trade the location of Jhin for gold?influence? help unite the ionian clans in some way? Which was the motive of the majority of clan leaders,whereas the ones who were against that were ordered by navori to be assasinated by Kayn and Zed themselves! (Dont forget how Kayn tries to question the importance of killing Jhin in the first and second comic!) As i said in another comment its an interesting theory!

In the trailer of jhin, he shot zed, sona, vi & garen. Zed is already after jhin, who is now in piltover. Guess who also is in piltover... It's Vi! Riot is planning a long time ahead with the lore of jhin, so what if for some reason vi will chase down jhin as well after some event in piltover (maybe he killed someone close to her) and jhin goes to demacia. And who are in demacia i hear you say... Garen and sona (i think she is still there ill have to checl that). So jhins plan is that he tries to those 4 people together and 'make a show'
those are just teasers non-canon. its how the champions would end if Jhin killed them...

I wouldn't say that the rest of the awaken is gonna be cannon too. Mainly because, new policies that Noxus following at the moment and they probably wouldn't be interested in the Riven.

In this comic, Jhin's arm is cybernetic when the last time we saw him it wasn't, so I believe this means Camille managed to cut off his arm in their battle.
Riot confirmed he wears a glove and armor with a black skinsuit,so that theory flies out the window i think
he's entirely human underneath and the only reason he wears armor is because it supports his weight when he uses his ult ability
Next issue geuss: zed barely takes jhin down with him and fall towards the sump, where voth barely survive but are seperated. Jhin might manage to escape back to entresol, but zed will have amnesia from the fall..emm and akali will want to stay and search for zed but shen will want to leave. Big brian theory over here
Would like this post-war look for Zed as a skin, maskless and all.
Riot should make a Zed skin and Shen skin where they are without their mask and in their comic costumes, that’ll be sick I think.

Can we talk about transition from Shen&Zed talk about there were only 4 people who knew where Jhin was held capture and Shen assumed Zed told someone else about it, to Kayn on the mission?

that was my biggest question as i read the comic too! My guess is that Zeds fear is true, meaning he is the one contact out of the 4 mentioned who know where jhin was, meaaaaning the one closest to him after shen being kayn, he could have secretly trusted kayn with the location, since his successor is supposed to know some priviledged information. Then my guess is that Kayn broke bad and made a deal with the patron, who is their contact to the navori brotherhood in order to gain more power and influence. Keep in mind Kayn hates Noxus, wouldnt it make sense if he traded the Jhin's location who if freed can be used as a tool to kill Noxians, in exchange for gold and weapons from Navori brotherhood, and as in a previous issue mentioned, Unification of Ionian clans under one roof to seek vengeance upon Noxus? Kayn, Navori Brotherhood(zed assasination squad even killed one of the last clan leaders who opposed the ionian unification) and the patron, those who actually monetize all the ionian clans want the same thing! I may be mistaken of course, but thats my best guess. I hope Rhaast wont overwhelm Kayn though(as a Shadow Assasin Kayn main:P) Sorry for the complicated writing.

That Akali's friend from the short story? the one with no legs IIRC? in this story, there's Akali involved -> Kinkou, there's Camille -> Prosthetics, there's the city itself, and there's Jhin..! which makes it 4/4 for that character to be tied in at some time.

the fake arm actually is armor for using his cannon and holding it.
in the splash art there was a mistake cause it was supposed to be a reflection in a mirror, but they put wrongly his components.

dont think jhin had what it takes to take down camille after all her body was made to withstand gunshots as she have proven a lot of times so best bet is he knocked her back and escaped while she regained her stabilty and her health cause she also has insane healing (also proven in her story) so probably now she is pissed and after him as well
