Exciting Update: After more research, I think it's possible the three bronze tablets I mention in this video are related to Neoplatonism, a popular belief system around the Mediterranean from about the 3rd-6th century CE. Look for more info about them on my upcoming video on Hecate.

The idea of stealing the wife, its actually a real thing that happened with many cultures in history. It was likely less aggressive and more of a traditional event.
