I think Joe honestly felt his career was winding down before Celtic made the call. He fully chucked himself back into the game he obviously loved and cherished and Celtic being Celtic fully got behind him. The old adage Form is temporary, class is permanent certainly came to life in Joe Hart at Celtic. The old sparkle was back and he put in some seriously great performances. I was there on the day, had goosebumps. Very moving final day, what a way to bow out of a phenomenal career. Joe hart conquered England, then came north and conquered scotland. Legend!
“Conquered Scotland”? He played in goals for a bit for the biggest team in Scotland to get a decent wage with no real challenge- it’s hardly conquering Scotland!!!!

He is a legend. Only 8 Celtic teams in history have won a treble. That’s 8 out of 137 years. Every treble winner (who played an integral part of the campaign) is a legend in my eyes.
He went out of the game in quite a beautiful way. A bit of a blaze of glory. He was well respected at Celtic because he came in with the right attitude and did his best. The supporters appreciated that. Good for him.
Joe hart and celtic were the right combination at the right time, celtic needed a hk between the sticks they could trust and big joe coming towards the end of his career just needed a manager to trust and believe I'm him joe hart is a great keeper,a great man and a great person he was brilliant for the club on and off the pitch, and I'm sure at some point in the future big joe will be playing for the celtic legends and he will love every minute of it

Love Celtic, been in amongst the greatest ever games in Celtic park and can confirm, the atmosphere is electric, cant be replicated any where else in Britain europe even. Special stadium. Joe had the best experience of his life, we make hero's here . what footballs about not the money
@tucoramirez3333 I've seen Celtic Park a hell of a lot louder than Messi ever has when the ground was 85% standing and The Jungle was packed. Modern day atmospheres are nothing compared to times when official attendances were pure fiction!
Joe is a legend of the game long before he ever came to celtic.. imo anyway.. had nothing to prove... He already did it! What he found at Celtic was community...family...and a bit of support ❤ he is an incredible guy and am glad he and celtic found each other. 🎉
Shame he wasn't at the club longer he was hood at getting everyone into gear a true leader on the park and avery under appreciated goalkeeper and it's great to see how much the club and fans mean to him after his time there
Joe Hart wouldn't have been held in high regard amongst most celtic fans before he joined, it's the measure of the man and his performances that he is now absolutely adored by us all. Happy retirement Joe
Absolute load of shite but tell yourself that if it makes you feel better, he was considered a legend at City and was there through our rise from mediocrity to winners. It’s a lot different when you know someone is retiring and there’s a confirmed last day, compared to when someone is just sold in the window because the manager wants to change them. There’s nothing that compared anywhere near to Aguero’s goal hitting the back of the net and him being mobbed by City fans on the pitch, that happened at Celtic.
Wouldve been more than glad to have him for another few years but regardless he was well appreciated here, would be nice to see him come back in some other role in the future :)
Big Joe got what Celtic is all about, gave us his all, and he will be loved by the fans forever for it. Once a Celt, always a Celt. All the best in your retirement, lad. HH 🍀
