Born in the flesh 1946 and born in the spirit 1958, since than life is sweeter than the day before. Enduring to the end is the hard part. Living for Jesus one day at a time. Life is good in my Lord Jesus. Amen ! Waiting for the sound come up here my children, meeting in the air. !

Watched this video today with my parents also. My Grandfather was working at a mines in Totz the day Pearl Harbor was bombed. Grandmother said he had left that Sunday morning to go back to work at Totz and she said she heard the news report on the radio about 1pm that day of what had happened. She said that was the loneliest feeling being their listening to that on the radio and my Grandfather wouldn’t be back for a week. She was home alone with 2 babies and Papaw on his way to back to Totz on December 7, 1941.

I totally dropped my mouth on the floor when you said Haram Ky....(I know I didn't spell that right). As Miss Charlotte would say "well I declare" !!!!!! I did not know of this community until now. I am shocked....I have 3 boys by my second husband whose last name was Haram. The name is derived from other spellings. Hiram/Heram/Haram..... My ex was from Springfield Illinois. My father in law back then asked about my family and where they were from. I started naming places and I mentioned Harlan Co Ky area and his eyes opened wide. I said my family was miners. He looked at me and said how much you want to bet somewhere down the road we are cousins. I started laughing and said but y'all are from ILL. How? He started talking and said his family were also miners and many were from a small community in Ky....I did research and found where we were indeed distant cousins. But my research went cold in ILL. Omg! I wonder if this little community of Hiram is where his family connections are. How much do y'all know about that community? Oh yeah by the way ...it would be a cold day in hell before I got on that curvy mountainous road with a drunk behind the wheel...lol....oh hell no!!!!😂😂😂😂😂😂 I would be sitting in the passenger seat both feet flat on the floor board applying my imaginary breaks....lol. You know the stiff as a board posture with the oh sh*+ we are gonna die face😱 I would be changing my drawers 😱😱😱😱😱😱 lol. A least I could look at the beautiful scenery as I weaved down the road 😌😜😁 if y'all or anyone who reads the comments knows about the history Hiram Ky...please post what you know. God bless and thank you for these drives....some How God uses yall to show me things. PS....Mrs Coyote needs to stay with the camera. She is doing a mighty fine job. 😳✌😁

Back in the days when Cumberland was the only place in the county you could buy alcohol 'legally' some folks used to call that road the alcohol expressway.
we will do some research and see if we can find out how that community got its name. As always thanks so much for the kind words and thanks for watching, God bless you!

@@IgnitedCoyote thank you. Yeah I looked to see if there was any info online and there really wasn't. I even looked on find a grave to see how Hirams were buried in Ky and only found one. Maybe if you ask some old timers about the Hiram community they might know. I just can't find anything online. God bless y'all and prayers for complete recovery for Debbie. Y'all have been such a blessing to me.
