There are no words. Or just this. The courage of these men to know that they're sitting on top of a rocket that might explode at any moment is awe inspiring. The great minds at NASA that made it possible. Humanity at its absolute best. APPLAUSE.
My eyes well up... Its automatic. Watching a rocket pierce the skies is pinnacle of humanity. Weapons of destruction turned to pioneers of exploration. That's all humanity should be about.
Gorgeous When Spacex launched the first crewed Dragon I played this from the soundtrack. The trick is to start at t minus 3 minutes to synchronise the lift off
I know there's been more powerful Rockets since, but I don't care, I love the phrase: "The Mighty Saturn V ,the most powerful machine ever built by man"
Imagine sovjet and usa working together on the space race we would landed on mars by now. The human race are able to do extrodonary things yet they are able to kill eachother.
Hey, i've been spending a while making a 1+hour no commentary video on the full space race starting from goddard in the 20s to apollo-soyuz in 1975, and for the apollo 11 launch i wanted to do something like this video with the music from the movie, is it ok if i use your video? I'm going to edit it a lot, putting different clips over some parts, adjusting audio and adding some other stuff and i will credit if you want, its just for a school project but i'm going to upload it here as well so i just wanna check to see if thats ok :)

APPLAUSE.
And people believe this didn’t happen too
If only we had this level of courage and ambition nowadays, we might already be at Mars.
It's amazing to compare this with the original clip and see where they used real footage of the launch.
Beautiful! One of my favorite sequences and tracks of the movie, even more impressive with real footage.
Tears in my eyes. What they DID! An inspiration to multiple generations, there are no words to describe it.

Was the other way around
Goosebumps, one of humanities finest accomplishments!

Wow you have done an amazing job with the music spot on! That Saturn V was a mighty beast. Always get weepy watching it launch.
Whoever you are that made this, thank you!
Thanks for this, its amazing.
incredibly beautiful I shed a tear and more with that soundtrack
Fantastic job, Apollo is the greatest thing we've ever done
Yes! And I would be the Third Man on the Moon, I know Pete Conrad is the third man on the moon, And I’m still gonna be the third man on the moon!
NASA crews: please dont explode
That was BEAUTIFUL!
Great editing. It always feels like the first time)🌒🚀

Contrary to what you might think, competition incentivizes more development than cooperation.
none of it would have happened at all if the Cold War didn’t cause intense rivalry.
Good Job 🤘🤘
AMazing!!
Damn and this was almost 60 years ago
Bravo 👏
The reality is more impressive than the movie.

@@sciencio Of course. Many thanks
Much better than the movie.
ฉันคิดว่าโครงการ apollo 11 เป็นโครงการของมนุษย์แบบดิบๆหลังจากท่านไปงานเราเริ่มพัฒนาโครงการที่มีความซับซ้อนทางวิศวกรรมการบิน

That china you will never equal with 1960s technology. In your dreams. Communism is not an option remember that !Even with Soviet technology!
CCTV alone shows we have had tech way beyond whats given to the public
that 1969 B/W CCTV is comparable up to about 2005
