Ikr?! Nick looks delicate beside Taylor but when he’s on his own during interviews and stuff, he kinda has that bad boy but a gentleman look to him. I can’t explain it. 😅
He is one of the best actors of our time. The way he embodies every one of his characters so believably makes me sometimes even question are they really played by this same person. I wouldn't be surprised if he won an Oscar one day. For example, the way he can express Henry's loneliness, desperation and fear but also pride and love just by his eyes and micro-expressions is unbeliavable.
I really wanted someone to make a video on this. Even though both the book and movie are from Alex's POV, Henry's character and feelings are much more explained in the book. In the movie, many characters were removed, and it felt a little rushed due to which Henry's character (especially his insecurities) wasn't much explained, but oh well, I don't have words for Nicholas (the actor who plays Henry). He did an excellent job with facial expressions. The way his eyes looked at Alex even though they were still "enemies" still gave away the hint that he liked Alex since he met him. During the hospital scene, you can still see that when Henry saw Alex was nervous he decided to calm him down by appreciating his choice of cologne. His eyes gave away much more than words. Thank you for this edit. Beautiful.
100% agree!! i think everyone should read the book if they liked the movie because they could only include so much but the characters are way more complex and you are able to notice some subtleties if you know the whole story. they did such an amazing job on the movie tho. i usually can't stand the adaptations of my favorite books but i loved this one. such a proper romcom.

Henry's (Nicholas)❤ looks were full of love from the beginning...I haven't read the book (yet) but I loved every moment of the movie...all in all I don't care if they left June "out" ,and that mum and dad are together (indeed better) rather than separated....in the end it's the LOVE story between Henry❤ and Alex❤ that matters to us about the others???❤❤❤❤❤

Because he was consistently just being who he is - and saying nothing different regarding his sexuality right from when asked about his first acting role ten years ago, aged 19 and straight from school? (Being in a play at Edinburgh Fringe Festival because the girl he fancied was in it)The real answer is this and is quite simple. If you are innocent you have no defence because you have never have needed one. Because some people really are just what they seem. His eyes are just so expressive. Very few are Great actors who can act and express emotions without lines or big actions
