Thats why games feel so unenjoyable now because everyone wants to be a pro or streamer, ends up hating their time being one, then screams that the game needs fixing and it gets fixed around them instead of the normal players just trying to have a good time. Now we all need to sweat our asses off to pull wins in most games lol
@@slaayerr1 Nah. I enjoyed getting angry at Starcraft 2, and trying crazy shit sometimes. It was enjoyable getting annoyed at team mates in Heroes of the Storm, and then out damaging them as a healer. You can enjoy a frustrating and stressful game. This game is just a fucking slog. If you're survivor the main components of your gameplay are running in circles, or staring at a generator. It's like a game where out of 5 players, only 2 are having any fun at a given point in time, the killer and whomever they are chasing. Video Horror Society tried to remedy that by letting survivors fight back, but they were so far up their own asses with the idea of copying DBD's awful design they couldn't shift gears and just make it an asymmetrical deathmatch instead of relying on long ass cooldowns that forced the monster to stand around whenever their abilities weren't up, so of course it died.

@@NameIsDoc You're normally right on that last bit, but Killers like Chess Merchant set out to make a 3 gen from the beginning, it doesn't happen naturally. @Chipperbane If he tried, and failed, and allowed the first down to happen quickly. Then he could've potentially allowed a pain res, and pressure on the rest of the team. Which wouldve been almost impossible to recover from against a pro player playing a high tier killer. Only reason it worked against them was because it was in the 3 gen area. Had different pallets been dropped, the results might be different.
Good thing they nerfed 3 gen instead of ruining singularity. This killer is brilliantly balanced and designed minus few rough edges and addon dependency. Him getting SM treatment would've been a failure.
And Singularity is one of the strongest in the game. Easily A tier. Let’s not act like this is possible to do with Michael or this is at all beatable by solo q’s
It's important to note that Knightlight didn't win a THREE-GEN, he won the MATCH; it just took a 3-gen to do it. Winning a 3-gen means stalling for either 60 minutes and getting the insta-win, or stalling until the survivors leave. Knightlight actually GOT the 4K victory within 30 minutes.
I wish we watched this from any other survivor's perspective, Zaka is such a pain to listen to from his recording because the audio is so damn loud and he's the only one who talks so I'm constantly having to change the volume of my vide to not get deafened by Zaka but also to hear and understand what not Hens is explaining

8 regression events limit sounds harsh, but it's not that bad since entity blocking like Dead Man's Switch don't count as regression, but allow you to get a lot out of a single regression event, or slow the game down by forcing survivors to do something else than gens. The main thing is that 3-gen setups become a lot weaker so you're forced to play the game more aggressive, rather than defensively patrolling gens.
I said it once, and I'll say it again. SINGULARITY IS NOT THE PROBLEM. THE PROBLEM IS GEN PLACEMENTS AS A WHOLE. Hux himself is a masterclass of Killer design and should not have any changes made to him except for minor tweaks.

Honestly no shade on Zaka but him comp dropping all the pallets next to each other at the start could have lost the game. I've seen comp players milk the worst, shittiest pallets in the game in desperate situations. Sometimes when you see them pre-drop every pallet people forget comp players can actually loop really well when they have to. Later on in the game you can see them actually use that rock pallet by the crane. What also wasn't mentioned is that the killer intentionally positioned the cameras so that multiple couldn't be in the radius of one EMP, really good spacing that is surprisingly tricky to get down.
the first chase is the most important one, why taking the risk of going down when you can make the killer waste a ton of time? besdies they were really close of doing it... thos pallets were gonna be lost sooner or later, good comunication made it so he didnt have it easy to down anyone with constant resets but in the end they didnt manage to break it despite being close...
Delaying hits at any cost early game is the best way to play in these situations. Zaka is probably the smartest DBD player there is, they got to 1 gen with 1 hook which is usually a great situation to be in.
@@notHens That's true in most situations but as mentioned at the beginning of the game you say so yourself he uses up all the resources in the 3 gen. 1. It's too early in the game to even KNOW that that's a 3 gen, but it's still a misplay to use up all the resources there. Not realising what the correct play is is still a mistake. Count how many times someone went down to Surge by the gens that could have brought precious time if they had a pallet to work with. The BEST play then was to try to make as much distance as possible away from the 3-gen and use the resources there. You know how strong holding W is away from the objectives, and it's also a valuable strategy in comp. 2. Because he was playing 3 gen singularity, it almost doesn't matter how many hooks he has at 1 gen. He is just trying to sit there and stall the survivors out while he pressures them into making misplays. Obviously the gamestate when they got to 1 gen didn't matter at all in this game except for the butterfly effect where there was one guy dead on hook pretty early into the 3 gen siege. 3. If you are making the argument that what he made was the correct play then what you are saying is that he could not have made a better play, that was the best play, but because that play had huge knock on effects later on he essentially didn't have a way to play correctly. This is straight up wrong because you KNOW from later on the singularity was not chasing people away from gens. If he held W away from the 3-gen he wouldn't have been chased and downed in the first place, but as mentioned earlier a wrong play you made because you didn't have enough information is still a wrong play.
thats not what lost them the game, its them not stopping the 3 gen. they had no idea he was holding that spot at the beginning. it would be near impossible to know. youre supposed to snowball your lead, thats why they insta throw pallets to stay safe. even getting injured can cost them a gen, they’re just efficiently doing every gen as fast as possible. but usually teams know about 3 gens, they just didnt stop it or maybe thought they could power through it? i think i heard them say that. ada did the right thing throwing pallets down tho
That was actually the optimal play for a tournament setting as you need to delay the first down as long as possible. This isn't a regular randoms game, these are people with dozens of thousands of hours in this game. One mistake in the early game can quickly lead to a 4k, so it's very important to buy your teammates as much time as possible to complete the first few gens.

@dreczycieljednostek4089 For real. When people say things like that I can only imagine they see a gen at 3% 10s into the game and kick it instantly. Or maybe even interrupt their chases to kick the gen nearby. They're too addicted to kicking. Meanwhile for me sometimes the gens go so fast (from one hook to another) that I don't even get to use my Pop. Usually gen-regressing perks and kicking come into play later in game, never at the beginning.

I think a lot of the problem comes from dbd being the undisputed king of its genre. If it were an fps there would be other similar titles you could switch to if one sucked, or even single player games that might offer similar gameplay. Dbd is the only game of its kind with any staying power, cause all of its competitors are small indie titles like vhs or licensed romps like Friday the 13th or Texas chainsaw. That and the game takes so long to grind, that it ends up being a sunk cost fallacy. Going to another game, where you can’t use any of the skills you’ve acquired, and give up all the time you’ve spent getting characters and cosmetics- it’s enough to dissuade the bigger players. For the casual base, there’s enough big titles in the roster that new players keep coming in, and plenty of players enjoy the game so casually that they don’t mind it’s brokenness and still stay. Dbd is an interesting case for sure, but I think it makes sense if we look at the wider market for asym games.
If not for the misplay at 17:48 they would have won, he could have just crouch charged the EMP and disabled the cam Also one of them could have had boon COH to make quicker resets possible
Boon CoH was probably not allowed, it's comp so they're limited on which perks they can bring. I think Doc didn't want to infect the other two, but the gen would have probably popped then and they would have won. I think they had a lot of bad comms there, different things/strats being called, so Doc was confused and did what he thought he should in that scenario.
@@avrandlane2735 doing that IS the optimal play for a tournament setting. You always predrop pallets to delay getting downed as long as possible while your teammates get gens done. I think it remains to be seen if the 3 gen problem is "fixed"; much like slugging and camping I think it's a strategy that has valid contexts where it should be employed, and applying a game-wide cap to how many times a generator can be kicked seems like much too far in the other direction personally. I do think that games like this shouldn't be the norm however.
It's not the norm and it never was, Survivor Mains are ALWAYS putting the worst possible situation as exemple and they act like it happened. Every game is unenjoyable to play professionally. Thats why games feel so unenjoyable now because everyone wants to be a pro or streamer, ends up hating their time being one, then screams that the game needs fixing and it gets fixed around them instead of the normal players just trying to have a good time.

Some of which was patched (Huntress Lul/overcharge checks counting, Red Herring counting if the gen is already regressing) but some still exist doing things like popping a gen before Pain res to make a targeted gen eat the regression even though its only at 1%. Oppression in general being fucking useless as once it is found out everyone just watches the killer and tells them to hop off to let the gens all get a regression point.

@@NameIsDoc You're normally right on that last bit, but Killers like Chess Merchant set out to make a 3 gen from the beginning, it doesn't happen naturally.

@@The_B_Button that's my point survivors don't know how to play the game thus they unknowingly support changes that only create a more toxic environment. the first chase is the most important one, why taking the risk of going down when you can make the killer waste a ton of time? besdies they were really close of doing it... thos pallets were gonna be lost sooner or later, good comunication made it so he didnt have it easy to down anyone with constant resets but in the end they didnt manage to break it despite being close...

@@nsreturn1365Singularity isn’t c tier.

"HES ON ME"
*turns around, clearly heading towards teammates/easy callouts*
"He's leaving(:"
using the lessons from the 55 minute skull merchant game utterly diabolical. sinister even.
Zaka's silly voice is so entertaining.
Honestly, the killer is a massive underdog in this game, so seeing such a vicious setup is enjoyable, especially on a pro team like this.
Dead by Daylight is such a bright, whimsical game. I wonder what it would be like if they made a horror game out of this.
No way I could put up with that guy yammering his head off in broken English the entire match.
you made me excited that there was a tourney actually using a new map
I’m glad 3 gens are fixed so singularity isn’t nerfed when he relieves his upcoming changes
so they litterally made 3 chapters in a row have insane 3-genning killers
Yep, alien was the only fun killer to go against in 2023 sorry to xeno I hated him when he came out
@@realquestforgreatness I mean Xeno was a bit broken with his tail having close to no cd on a miss, but they fixed him pretty fast and became a good killer
I've been saying this since Singularity came out and made a video on it the first day of PTB. You should see all the people on that video that told me I didn't know what I was talking about and that singularity couldn't 3 gen.
And now it's the other extreme, seriously punishing killer for regressing gens more than a miniscule amount. God forbid you kick a gen a few times early game, because later it's going to be unstoppable.
@dreczycieljednostek4089
For real.
@@Libellulaire Are you crazy or something?
Did you forget people don't all play like you do?
Seeing videos like this always makes me chuckle. People really out here trying to turn a party game into some sort of professional esports nonsense. Can't wait to see Mario party start getting competetive teams.
Get with the times old boy, games been competitive for years
@Kyle-bi7df it's about as competitive as hopscotch.
So who is gonna tell him?
@@massgunner4152 That mario party is a competetive game now? I'd believe it. It wouldn't be any more rediculous than DBD being a competetive game.
Created a new issue in fixing an issue. No one new is ever going to want to play killer because they will just get curve stomped by insane survivors with every perk. Now you take away the last thing killers have to have a chance at winning in late game. I wish it was something happened at 3 gens rather than the whole round.
I guess even the best survivors can’t help but cry when they messed up and 3 gen themselves.
The killer here FORCED the 3 gen, guarding it even at the start of the match. Are you stupid?
If your only way to win as killer is by 3 genning then just stop playing killer lol
@@realquestforgreatness I didn't say anything about that being the only way to win. I said winning in the late game (please read everything not just what you want to be mad at).
Just remember it is not the killers fault the survivors 3 gen themselves.🤡
@@realquestforgreatness If your only way to win at Killer is to talk about Solo Queue, then you should start using your brain for a moment.
Watching this killer from the survivors' perspective is stressing me out like... "Stop doing things," but it doesn't stop. I wouldn't be able to deal. I'd dc in the first 3 minutes.
Imagine designing a game and then having to nerf the fact that killers are defending the only objectives. Not saying it didn't need to happen. Just saying these devs are pretty F'ing clueless. We already know they don't play their own game from past situations. They make decisions based purely on community outrage (some) and on spreadsheets (mostly).
To be fair it is kinda hard for devs to play the game that intensive like comp players do
he can teleport ontop of survivors better than The Nurse. these killers keep getting more and more crazy in design.
i find interesting to watch these hold hostage matches because how well the survivors have to play as a team (but playing in a match like that are so annoying)
I have never played Dead by Daylight.
I have never spoken to someone how has played Dead by Daylight.
Until 15 seconds ago I forgot Dead by Daylight even existed.
Of course imma watch this 20 minute video about the pro scene for a game I know nothing about, that's just content baby!
the guy that was being spectated was speaking with such a heavy accent that i didnt even know he was speaking english im cooked
3 genning is still an issue and ive been held hostage by singularities since the new update, unfortunately. Its just turned from kicking the gens non stop to puppy guarding them so they cant get up past the 5% penalty.
Hens, you definitely made it big, cause the casuals are out here telling Zaka he is “Too loud” and “Wastes Pallets” 😂
He is too loud, he must be quiet.
Its hilarious seeing all these players think theyre better than zaka
@@cuppy1199 If they don't refute the claim I can believe it
i dont think that the "too loud" people are in the wrong, you really cant justify screaming like a little baby
if you hear other pro comms like LoL teams or R6 teams you will understand that you can not scream and still be able to make callouts
@@trappedsan3932 As someone who plays close attention to both r6 league and algs, apex coms are exactly like this, Its dependant on the game, lol and r6 are less, idk the word, i wouldnt say less chaotic or slower pased, but theres a lot happening in apex and dbd, so screaming is jus how it is
they all hear boss music and singularity is just listening to classical music and chilling the whole time
Why is there a playboi carti I am music in the bottom left or am I tripping
i’m pretty sure zaka is a big opium fan
Brightness at plus 500% is so stupid looking.
that was a wild ride, i was punching the air when they almost won!!!
Take a shot every time they say “bro”
former DbD tryhard who still watchs DbD content occassionally. it fascinates me that the game is still alive and well and people still play it, professionally or casually. its literally the most un-fun, stress inducing game ive ever had the misfortune of running into it. people who play it almost never seem to enjoy themselves while doing so. honestly, i think their brains are addicted to the adrenaline rush/low-grade anxiety that they experience while playing.
I usually quite enjoy it cause i dont play it seriously at all.
Smiling friends Satan LOVES this game
thats because you take it too seriously. it can be a fun game if you dont let it get to your head.
It's fun when you don't play it serious lol never cared about escaping other than helping my teammates escaping
If not for the misplay at 17:48 they would have won, he could have just crouch charged the EMP and disabled the cam
Also one of them could have had boon COH to make quicker resets possible
There were two cams, both perfectly placed. There was no way to hide from both cams
@@ShinyPotato77 nah the surivovrs played extremely bad! zaka throwed down 3 PALLETS at the start of the match on the 3 gen side lmao!.
Boon CoH was probably not allowed, it's comp so they're limited on which perks they can bring.
You're not wrong about Zaka's missplay at 17:48, but the fact they didn't 3-men the last gen too was so bad... I think Doc didn't want to infect the other two, but the gen would have probably popped then and they would have won. I think they had a lot of bad comms there, different things/strats being called, so Doc was confused and did what he thought he should in that scenario.
@@ShinyPotato77 but he saw him looking through that one and still went out of cover
@@avrandlane2735 doing that IS the optimal play for a tournament setting. You always predrop pallets to delay getting downed as long as possible while your teammates get gens done. One misplay early in the match very quickly leads to a 4k. It's terrible in randoms, but this is a whole new ballpark playing with and against people who have dozens of thousands of hours logged as active playtime, not even afk. Please don't think that playing with a few hundred random people between 200 and 2000 hours is the same as playing with 7 other people who each have 50k+ hours.
singularity 3-gen? nah, 5 Nights at Larry's
More like RPD with 2 gens in main and 2 besides it lmao
To professional players or people that plays in team : instead of saying "OVERCHARGE OVERCHARGE OVERCHARGE OVERCHARGE"
You can say "overcharge".
You may not like this, but this is peak dead by daylight performance.
Zaka sounds like the average DBD main
The super bright filter omg im blind 😂
The number callouts are CRAZY I've never heard competitive comms before
Title: Singularity stalls survivors for 60 minutes
Hens: Will they manage to break the 3-gen or will the game take a full hour before the server shuts down?
Actual game: Knightlight kills them in less than 30 minutes
But I guess it works. I wouldn't have watched the video if the title had simply been "How Singularity beat the best Survivor team". And
yet it was very enjoyable.
Geez that was intense! I am happy to see a new video! I always look forward to what you will post next!
I'm glad they updated gens. I honestly hated gen tapping probably as much as survivors hated 3 genning.
The only reason they hate this strategy, is because there is no easy way out of it, so they stall the game until they make a mistake or the Killer make a mistake, then go bully him on social medias and try to get this person cancelled.
I played against this build on Singularity a few times in solo q. Even if I managed to win, it was never worth the time it took to just go next 🤷♂️
Great to see Hens is expanding to Chess as well
When Bully squads hold the game hostage: "Your brave and strong, inspirational"
When Killers hold the game hostage:
"No you're playing the game wrong, The devs need to fix the game!"
Literally who says the first thing? I've seen nobody support bully squads.
what type of brainrot is this and what must i do to avoid it
knightlight is a goated killer, i always love seeing him playing in tournaments
This is precisely the problem though 2:41 This survivor created a massive deadzone, which incentivized the killer to do this even harder, what are they supposed to do? Chase them around the fun bus for 3 minutes while the other 3 survivors do the gens?
If the Killer intentionally drops chase to return to the 3-gen, map resources don’t last anyway.
Didn’t incentivize him. He had 4 regression he knew what he wanted to do and did it
@@GoldenDeer_ doesn't really matter the game is survivor sided! killer takes 4 gen perks and can almost not even HOLD a 3 gen, while survivor with 16 perks total almost none of them had gen perks but zaka WTF THIS GAME IS extremely survivor sided.
@@avrandlane2735 They don't care at all about that, they want to ridicule and t-bag you, end of the discussion.
@@MrJefferson07 i've seen you around a dozen times in this comment section and you seem extremely miserable, why are you playing the game?

If this was old nano machine gel this would have been much more painful i think before singularity add ons were reworked it was 40 or 50 seconds
