This is terrible. This video is a great example of what's wrong with police culture. The first things you show in a *recruiting* video are cops shooting guns. Take a look at this video and ask yourself, Fargo Police Department, why the only shot of a cop "helping" anyone was a half second of some kid in the middle of a SWAT raid? Why is a solid third, in total, of this video cops shooting guns or practicing fighting?
Who are you trying to recruit? People that want to shoot guns? Because it sure doesn't seem like you're trying to recruit people who want to help their communities.

The video is about helping the community, those are two shots. One training shot in the academy. One shot of a SWAT hostage rescue. Did you just skip through half the vid for those 2 parts?

Hmm let's see... shooting, shooting, sparring, attack dogs, shooting drills, arresting people on the roadside for unclear reasons, shooting stuff, suiting up for war, violently ambushing an unsuspecting household wielding rifles with lasers, but it's okay cause they're nice to the kid... looks like a great place for any psychopath to work!
Seriously though, the military's recruitment videos are less violent, and the military is literally engaged in warfare. This video represents one of the major reasons for the growing divide between citizens and law enforcement.
If you guys need tanks and military gear to do your jobs, then you're doing it wrong. That's not what we, the taxpayers who pay your salary, want you to do.
