even if like a year late last month I started trying these. Yep,can confirm. Ironically,applying the jump cancel tech from the start on the first portion with the ex makes it much easier for me than the actual tengu stone loop. I almost got there but I was glad to try in the end,cuz now I can confirm the title of this.
edit:since this comment’s getting some traction,would like to let know that about a week and a half ago i got around completing both parts of the combo in different splices with save state. th-cam.com/video/CiUALvRs9hA/w-d-xo.html

It’s not that bad, once you practiced a bit it will get into your muscle memory and you won’t be having too much trouble doing them in real situations
youll never really have to do this combo, its mostly just for swag most of the time youll be doing simpler stuff that gets you a knockdown

For those that are confused by the jump cancel part…I think the charge is done by holding up back, this allows you to keep holding your charge while the NEUTRAL med kick comes out then a cancel to the fireball during the med kick and then back to up back charge. It’s frame perfect because the med kick press cancels the up back jump you’d normally get. I hope that makes sense.

got one awhile back and its literally a piss easy controller and took me and my brother like 2 hours each to get used to it. not for street fighter but for mvci. dont know how it effect the top players but at a mid level its a literal game changer

I remember when people were calling SFV an easy game and saying it had no combo or skill expression. I mean yes, it was on the more simple side at launch and built up over time for sure but stuff like this, Guile boom loops, and Urien headbutt loops were a perfect implementation of skill expression. Easier combo routes are available but high level stuff is available if you want to lab it and risk it. It seems like SF6 is going the same route which makes me happy. I played SF4 but I always felt like hinging BNB combos on 1f links was not healthy for the game and I'm glad that execution barriers have become more for optimization than core play.
