It really depends on people. I takes some time to get used to Hitboxes. I definitely adopted it on Tekken however on SF I use a lever stick. However this kind of video can abuse some people because it's not as easy at it seems and it's like with any controller that really depends on the player more than any peripherial... 😅
@@ogamitaicho77 combos basically become learning combos on both sides of the controller and could be the weakness of the controller at first but like anything else it just takes time

It's the Guile theme.
It is very clear that Hitbox allows infinitely faster direction inputs than stick and pad. At the current state of the FGC, Hitbox is nothing short of a cheat if it is going against a pad/stick user. Because the community is a mixture of older players who are used to stick and some younger players who also uses the traditional stick. Tournaments need to clarify the two distinct categories with stick users and hitbox users.
Give a few more years where Hitbox is more widespread and used in modern gaming then it'll be fine. Because at that point, it will be understood that stick/pad/hitbox is a preference and those that choose not to use Hitbox is willingly handicapping themselves.
The player conversion is already in effect. Half of the SFV top 8 at EVO 2022 were on leverless.

Don't see how this is cheating in any way possible, literally people play fighting games on the keyboard bro. if it's that bad then just get it, y'all are only saying it's cheating because it gives u an advantage exactly like keyboard and mouse on fps shooters such as Fortnite etc. If you are good at a fighting game there should be no problem u damn causal, If that's the case keyboard and mouse shouldn't exist because it gives u an advantage. As a matter of fact, this reminds me of when keyboard and mouse players got to have double movement on their keyboards A.K.A 360 movement, they can now move like a controller player instead of just left and right which is a huge A HUGE advantage even after all the advantages they already have and epic games still didn't care.

So basically there giving pros or advanced players a cheaper advantage without the effort of doing motions to execute moves. Sad...
1) Anyone can play on the Hit Box, not just pros/advanced players, and 2) you still have to input the motions.
Idk man went from pad to keyboard and then hitbox and it took me a considerable amount of time to get motion inputs like this down in game. All the directions are hit in this example so im confused what u even mean. While being able to be more precise its a bit like playing the piano or something. Id argue that it take a bit more effort in a lot of ways than stick even with the advantage

They should run arcade stick exclusive tournaments separately from tournaments with no controller restrictions. Hitbox players shouldn't have ANY reason to complain about that.
