Thank you so much Tia.....people only teaches how to make pleats in equally aligned but no one focuses and teaches the technique of finger movements to make pleats, which is the most important part for making pleats..if one knows the technique then pleats will be perfectly aligned. I learned today, since morning I was searching from videos to video to know this only...Thank you once again..

OMG TYSSSM I was literally STRUGGLING with my satin saree bc it's so slippery.. my mom uses the 2 finger method u mentioned but my hands are so damn tiny and the saree kept slipping off
I have prom in a few more days and I brought a beautiful teal saree for that but it looked rly messy on me bc of the pleats and the saree being hard to handle so I was thinking of wearing one of my mom's sarees which is also gorgeous but vv old fashioned. Wow! Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. I have short fingers. My mother has nice long fingers. I would see my mother do it with fingers along the cloth. I would do it that way as well and struggle. Excellent way to pleat saree for folks with short fingers.

Lower the saree a bit near the chest and then pin it
