If I couldn't or really wanted to get stuff that would take too long and not possible to get unless microtransactions but I really like how it looks Inwould reluctantly go for it too. They could also add hero or better armor and weapons and make modes P2W for their greedy needs and another mode that is F2P and prevents microtransactions but oh no that's too much to ask.

It feels like every good upcoming game is getting cancelled and I am sick of it, I swear I need to start a group or people that will just recreate these unmade games.
Because mega publishers and studios control the market. If Mega Gaming sees a company producing a game they think will makes lots of money, they'll sabotage it, then create their own version of it later on. Or they buy out the studio, then cancel the project, then make their own.

There probably isn't much to leak lol. The game was only in development for a couple years. They probably have a few models done, maybe some textures but that's gonna be about it. You might find some story elements but I wouldn't expect much. In terms of game development, it was in very very early stages.

Some sources say it was only in early development and then some people (ironically not involved with the game at all) say it was finished and in a playable alpha state. I can tell you with certainty that if development started only a couple years ago they do NOT have a playable game. They have assets and drawing boards. AAA games like this take YEARS to make. Much more than 2.
@@jakemensik2842 Yes it's true you wouldn't have a real game (progression, scripting, extra engine work, even textures, ect) but not having some form of playable sandbox after 2 years is insane. As a software dev, if I told my boss It'll take me 2 years on a comparable project and I don't have anything to demo for it, I'd be fired.
Likely there's some playable sandbox or alpha investor pitch demo just like Factor 5's BF3 alpha build that was leaked.

According to a contact from the channel called "Star Wars Theory", who apparently works in EA, what happened bts was that Disney had made a deal with EA in which they would get 20% of revenue made selling games. However, Disney wanted to back out, but didn't want to have to pay the fine to back out. so they're charging more money to EA, which makes them not afford to be able to make games. Be prepared for more games to get canceled

I recognize this pattern. All these star wars games cancelations are reminding me of when Disney first bought star wars and canceled/removed content to make way for the new product:Disney plus. You recently made a video about Disney's deal with Epic Games and now I'm thinking that they want to cancel all the new games so that you can only game on their Epic game platform. In other words, Disney is monopolizing their content...again
This is purely an EA decision. They are no longer going to be partnering with licensed IPs as it no longer aligns with their vision of what "pushes the industry forward"

Fallen Order is ok, but not good. I still have not finished it to this day. I think im on the last planet of the story but it became soooo boring and repetitive. It should be called "Star Wars: backtracking order" Also the reason why i did not even bother to buy Jedi Survivor.
If this was any company besides EA, I would say that we should press the company about changing their mind. I still want too, but EA doesn't care about anything besides DLC and money. There was no way to put a battle pass in or chock if full of overpriced DLC, so why bother?

According to his source in EA, Bob Igor at Disney changed the contract for all 3rd party game developers, increasing the cut Disney would take to the point where it’s not viable for pretty much any other studio - except for Epic Games, which Disney have invested Billions in and won’t be charged anything at all.
Disney are going to heavily push games for all their properties through Epic Games it seems. Their partnership also gives them access to Epic’s game engine, which they use for their film CGI - arguably the biggest part of their partnership.
If Disney end their deals with 3rd party devs they would be in breach of contract and have to pay any penalties/termination costs. By changing the terms of their agreement they are basically forcing most publishers to pull out themselves, and take the hit by breaking contract with Disney instead.
It seems some ruthless, hostile and totally anti-consumer tactics are being played on the part of Disney. It SUCKS!!!
So Disney is 1920s Chicago.

Star Wars Theory mentioned he had a source that said Disney raised the percentage that game companies have to pay quite a bit. Like it’s 30% now which most studios probably can’t afford to do that

@@tomgu2285 you would hear it from those as Disney raised the percentage to be paid to them on Star Wars only games, so we will probably hear that if there are smaller game studios making games that they probably will have to stop. But yes it is just one source which Theory does seem to trust, it doesn’t mean it isn’t true either.
It’s EA they can afford to dump a shitload a money on a game no one plays like Need for speed which unbound died faster than Halo infinite did 💀. And never brought back any players unlike Halo which managed to salvage the game enough to keep it afloat. However when it comes to a game like this they say “nah” 💀 they can afford it easily just they think they wont earn as much as they want

Star Wars VR: Tales from the galaxy's edge, you get blasters, explore a planet, repair droids etc. not having lightsabers in the main gameplay as a choice sucks especially when they made the minecraft dlc instead of a new game in that setting, but you don't need to be a jedi to have a cool star wars story or game. it even lets you play AS IG-88 IN A BOUNTY MISSION AND IT COULD EASILY BE A MANDO GAME

Even since The Mandalorian show and playing SW Bounty Hunter I wanted a Mandalorian game. Personally I would want it to be a TPS like Helldivers (maybe with an FPS option) but with some RP elements like Fallout and/or Deus Ex. An multiplayer online would also great maybe a hoard shooter or team verses. Mandalarioans are such a great concept because they're a creed meaning any alien speices in SW can be a Mandalorian they could lean into that. Idk maybe I'm asking for too much,

My Theory is that they will include it in the Jedi 3 Game. Either as part of the Main Story or as a seperate Game Mode. The Time Period and Bounty Hunter Style fits the Jedi Games.

I never watched the TV series, but this type of game can be easily extended by DLC or live service mission packs containing new worlds and new locations to explore.
They could also add escort and courier missions.
What would make it more interesting is to end a mission with an ethical dilemma where killing isn't the only option. And then there's the guest character that teases but always escapes, somehow.
You should play squad with the Star Wars mod it’s amazing and so fun and I think would be an amazing official Star Wars game. You should make a video on it
Some things I personally would have loved to see:
- Companions would be cool, just having a bounty hunting crew that joins you filling different jobs, not all of them have to even be combat roles, like a droid that could hack doors, or a pilot that can scan from above and give you “eyes in the skies”.
- Civilian interactions would be cool, buying your way into a bar, starting a bar fight to get some Storm Troopers away from a door.
- Players that could invade as the “Rival Bounty Hunters”, though I would want it to be a toggle.
- Co-op would be so much fun, doing bounties would be so much fun with the bois and screwing them up together would be even more fun

9:00 isn’t this whole idea just the storyline for the bounty hunter in The Old Replublic? Just a massive bounty hunt where multiple bounty hunters have to get to their target before anyone does
The Bounty side missions in Fallen Order were awesome
Main reason was because the cut that the franchise licenses holders would take went up from 22% to 33% for the games sells making it just not worth making for EA because an 11% increase to a game like this would be just a massive cut to the possible income the company and therefor their investors would get.
Its a shame that we aren't getting any new concept star wars games but I'm stoked for the battlefront classic games coming in a few days. See you guys on the battlefront.
Cool game mode idea: you have online mode and are paired with 1-3 other players to compete to get the bounty
I would personally like a Republic commando sequel, something along the lines of what they were going to do with imperial commando that was pitched at the time. Already have them in the bad batch TV show so makes no sense in terms of canon now. Could have the best of both worlds where they are on the hunt for certain people including mandalorians such as axe woves and Bo Katan. Could have them operate during the night of long tears? On the orders of moff Gideon where they retrieve the darksaber? Maybe ursa wren is involved? Also would want a game that's a long the lines of Star Wars Jedi where it's like Star wars mandalorian. You play as a character that grew up during the clone wars with deathwatch people like pre vizsla and Bo Katan? Maybe they're force sensitive a little or use mandalorian gadgets?

Hearing any news about star wars that bring hope for the franchise to fans is worse than being blown up by any explosion that's instant death because you have to live with constant pain, disappoint and depression. Now that I said that that can apply to anything in life.

Thank God for Arrowhead proving that better games can be made with less money and gaming studios can be operated by people who actually play games and understand gamers. EA and Ubisoft's days are limited if they don't make a major shift and stop cancelling the games we want to produce the flops we don't play! I've been perplexed since it was announced why Din and Grogu, their current two most popular characters, weren't the focus of the game. They could have brought in jedi and lightsabers into the game with the friends he makes along the way. It would also have attracted more to buy the game, those who are not into all of SWs, like many of us. The game could have been set in-between seasons, post S2 for lightsabers.

The 1st problem is that it was an FPS! Why do these game companies always get these amazing IP's and just turn it into a floating hand and gun? People want to see the character on their screen! You want to see the customized armor, helmets and gadgets. Helldivers 2 gave you the perfect blueprint on what Mandolarian game should look and feel like. A 3rd person open sandbox world with multiple planes to explore and do bounty hunting missions in. Where you see your character and customize them with different armors, helmets and weapons. These iconic characters shouldn't be subjugated to a fixed camera and just a gun. IP's like Robocop, Indiana Jones, Mandalorian, Avatar should have all been in 3rd person. Thats the point, to see those cool characters on your screen, running, jumping, crouching, taking cover behind objects, melee combat! That's what makes games like Spider-Man, Batman Arkham, Uncharted, Jedi Fallen Order and Survivor so much fun and Immersive. Seeing your character doing all the action and being able to customize them with different skins. Imagine the Jedi series just being a floating hand and lightsaber and you only see your character in cutscenes! Or a Spider-Man game that's just a webbed hand flicking webs 🤣 NOBODY wants that lol

I heard a rumor that this is IGERs doing going from the 22.5% of the profits they want to now upping it to 34% and every starwars game developed WILL have to pay that except for epic because disney bought large parts of it. But yeah regardless the game is cancelled just like 1313 and a whole slew of other games.

So, the spiritual successor to Bounty Hunter with a visual style akin to the Prey 2 demo that launced a while ago.. literally a game I've been hoping for since like 2002.. and EA thinks "players wouldn't want it".
How out of touch do you have to be with your audience to make such a statement?
Because they don't own The Mandalorian they have to pay a huge licensing fee. The game would not be as profitable as the ones based on properties they own outright.
That they got far enough in development to have a playable version tells me that they had not finalized the licensing agreement with Disney and apparently they couldn't get Disney to budge on their astronomical licensing fees so they just scrapped it.
I'm getting so tired of lightsaber character star wars games, i rarely play them in SWBF2 and in Jedi Survivor i use a mod that gives me infinite blaster ammo so i can use the blaster more then my lightsaber.
