I love the F-150's like 97-03 but man I can't give myself up to not take this Silverado. It has that dark interior that Ford doesn't have in that year lol. Also man the seats are so comfortable. I think I'll just take my Dad's truck when he opts out for the F-350 gas lol.
Not all of them. Most of the one's I've driven sit about the same height as the Dodge 1500 from that time. GM trucks are confusing sometimes with the height.
this is still my personal favorite silverado year. I'd still love to have a truck just like that.

Mine is a 2007 Classic. 205,000 mi. . 5.3 runs great. Planning on keeping on to at least 300,000mi. Damn sure aren’t too fired up on the new ones.

Why do all chevy trucks seem short or lowered? If you look at the fords and rams, they seem to have a higher stance.
They have what's called a IFS suspensions "independent front suspension" instead of a solid axle, so naturally they sit lower to the ground.

I know its late response but I recommend nice leveling kit will make truck sit nice. You’re right, Dodge and ford sit factory little higher.
