  • Homemade Bar Clamps for woodworking don't get any easier than this. This is the simplest way I have ever seen to make great reliable great preforming low maintenance homemade clamps for gluing up panels and table tops.

    This is very good because it give you the ability to do both jobs of bar clamps plus holding the pieces from top and bottom.NICE

    Dude!!! You are a bad ass sir ive been looking for a clamp i can make without making a gd wooden screw for over a week now. I need one to make small boards for a chest im making with just my draw knife axe and saw. Thank you so much.

    I bet I watched 2 dozen shop-made bar clamp videos before this one. They were all so complicated--hack sawing a nut in half, gluing threaded rod to a square tube; welding?!?--I said "I'm never gonna build that!". I'm not watching any more. I am making these clamps!     Excellent idea, excellent video, well presented & with no waffle!!
    Perhaps you could put a small flat on the rear dowel to increase the clamp pressure area.

    Presumably you can drill dedicated holes in a bench or glue up table and only use the top bar. Love the stupid simple ideas. Keep em coming.
