Wow. The whales were wonderful. Looked Ike a special dinner. You guys meet the nicest people. So refreshing to see that there are so many nice people in the world. Thanks for sharing.
I love and appreciate the way you tell stories, not only of the sea and life found within, but the people you encounter on your travels. You truly make it feel like we’re there with you, and I always look forward to the next adventure!
Nikki’s calm, smooth narrative tone is on par with David Attenborough. Jason, you’re a lucky man... and don’t let her or anyone else give you grief about the drums. You rock it dude! You both be safe. Anxious to see what next week’s video will bring.
For the past few lessons, my student in China has been reading about a Chinese Explorer from the Ming Dynasty, he knew the content already, so I told him last week if we got done early next week (today), we would watch a modern day explorer, he loved your video and was so impressed by the whales. I was thrilled to be able to share your adventures with him. Thank you for all you are doing and all the work and time you put into each video.
My goodness how wonderfully beautiful was that! Thank You the whales were to die for. Can you Imagine all the fish that would have been in the water yrs ago but now are so thinned out due to man's overfishing, collecting fish pets and eating anything that moves in the ocean. Such a lovely episode, I don't comment on every one because it would become repetitive but some I just can't help it.. Waiting patiently to travel with you this time on your new boat!😄
Thank you so much for that whole experience. I feel like I have been there with you. The sea, the whales, the unique dining experience...all of our wonderful dreams. Just beautiful.

21.00 The “ more Cow Bell” in the middle of anywhere and that joke came up. A smaller world then I thought. That night looked like so much fun. Thank you for sharing. Safe travel you four.
Oh my! You two are such life artists. I'm so glad you brought the kitties back with you. This actually had been occupying a lot of my thoughts during the week.
To add another level to your tostones (puertorrican patacones)-- after you squish them, soak for 5 seconds in very salty and garlicky water. When you retry them, they will be extra crispy and have a delicious taste
Wow ! This episode literally has everything. I was instantly transported away in to the video completely forgetting that I am sitting in the waiting room of a tire service center. I mean I really did forget I was here ! This is a testament to how wonderful your work has become. Your videos just keep getting better and better! Love it ! Thanks so much for the short escape.
I'm glad you finally left the shot with the camera that shows all the instrument readings up long enough to really see the numbers. Before this it was always up for such a short time that I had to pause to look them over. It's really cool!
Can't even imagine how incredible it would be to swim with Humpback whales. On one visit to the Channel Islands off the California coast my guide's ship encountered two Humpbacks who were playing. It was amazing. They would hook a huge chunk of seaweed with their tails and fling it, and then the second one would swim under it and toss it back. After they got tired of that game for a half-hour they took turns breaching, one after the other, at one point completely clearing the water. Such social animals. You never forget encountering these gentle giants.
Nikki you have so much talents and skills, I enjoyed everything incl the spanish music and dancing....it reminds me very good time sailing and dancing in Cuba.....many years ago, it's amazing !
Whales!! Beautiful shots of the whales. I love “Expedition Drenched”! Awesome shots underwater! Great drone shots! Wow that island restaurant was so cool! Thanks again for the great video!
What a great video to swim with the gentle giants and to see how playful and graceful they can be to break bread with friends and new acquaintances that is what life is all about thank you ever so much for sharing the wonderful experiences can’t wait to hear what this new project you have up your sleeve is
Slice the green banana on a angle, place in salt water to remove starch and it will salt the outer part, on the internet search for Spanish style plantain recipes , my favorite chopped garlic in olive oil let sit overnite or even a couple of hours a little salt and use to dip the plantain, you can also do this for avocados together with tomatoes.
The range of nature and human interaction for living a full life shown in this episode leave me wanting to take a long strange trip. Appreciate the time you have by getting moving/experiencing. Thx Wynns
again another great time you guys have the best life and thank you again. i,m in northwest indiana and you and all the sailors that i watch give me so much pleasure all of you are the new explores of the time. thank you to all my friends on the sea.
At 9:55 (-[ we can build ocean biodiversity and abundance]) great voice over. I was sitting here marveling at how nice the mood is set, the music, the scenery and then the whispering reminder of what to do comes gently to my ear like a prophet a goddess and memoirs of a nagging woman telling me to get up and get to work.
Just found this after watching some of your more recent videos. I've sailed a little (S. Cal to Catalina), actually taught SCUBA briefly and dove mexico and the Channel Islands, and even "chased" a gray whale, but this video makes me envious as hell. Jason, you better realize how lucky you are to partner with Nicole. Best to both of you.
You two look so beautiful out there and seem so happy! Thank you for another great. Keep them coming please because we're all living vicariously through you and your love for beauty, life and travel. The content you produce is amazing and bigger than you now. Please keep it coming for us. I know that sounds selfish, and yes we know you need time for yourselves. But, like i said, your show is bigger than you now. It means so much and does so much for us who live a life here in the US, grinding it out, without ever getting a break or vacation, us who feel utterly trapped and are jealous of your lifestyle. Last thing I'll say, you two have so much love inside it radiates in your video. We need a world more full of people like you. Love you guys! Stay safe out there. ❤💜🧡💙💛💚
What a hidden gem of a place to eat and entertain. I loved every second of the 4 years I lived in Spain, and to have it in Tonga....that is what life is all about.
Judging by Nikki's eagerness to hit the bongo playing limelight, I'd say those cham-bongs went down rather well :) Top notch as always...you really know how to make the viewer seem almost....there with you ! Wonderful ... thank you !
Well it was another Sunday with the Wynns, Sunday evening this time but probably morning where they are/were, they're so hard to keep track of. Keep up the good work guys and have a blast!
Excited to see new video! My only problem is i found channel recently and tried watching backwards but realized channel was started few years ago so now I'm working on watching from beginning to understand the whole story and there's so much to see to catch up. Wish i had more free time. Lol. Darn job getting in my way. I'm literally hooked on channel (No pun intended) Lol
@@peterg.8245 Yeah i realized that so trying to binge watch. Although i absolutely love the sailing part i have to watch it all now to see the progression. Love it.
Started binge watching you guys end of last year. Our first sailing channel was Delos. We've really grown to love you and this episode got us all emotional. The junior whales 💙 both of you are cute, funny and positive 😊 thank you for sharing all the love and good music 💕
"MORE COW BELL!!" Okay. That made me laugh out loud. Once again, well done. I only started watching your videos a few months ago and am now a great fan. I've enjoyed going back to your early work and seeing how everything has steadily gotten better and better with each episode. The high production values, great photography, and informative commentary (plus two hosts who are fun, photogenic, and genuine), have now made this my favorite series on TH-cam. The season is over and you both deserve a well-earned break. But I'm very much looking forward to your quick return. Many thanks.
Fantastic video of spanish private island night. Experiences like that with locals are priceless! Thanks for sharing your adventures. Regards Murray and Jean Australia
If you have to leave, I must commend you on a fantastic parting gift. Whales, amazing underwater sights, good food, friends, and island music. Thank you until you return.
Thank you for sharing your special & magical experiences with all of us! The WONDER of the the whales is soooo incredible, beautiful & awe-inspiring! Words cannot express how wondrous it is to see the ocean's graceful & wondrous giants... Also, it's awesome to see you meeting up with Expedition Drenched again in Tonga, and then all enjoy an extraordinary dinner among friends. Thank you for bringing us along for the ahhhmazing experience through your camera lenses.
I've been whale watching off the Massachusetts coast...but never whale swimming....love that! Cats do not work, that is part of their charm. Jason needs some bongo lessons....unless he was trying to make it sound like a horse with a limp, then he nailed it. HA! Look forward to your next sailing adventures...and hope the out of water time goes well for all.
Another great video ! I would love to dive in tropic waters . I have only dove Western Washington State waters and have dove with Orca , but my diving days are done . Jason do not get jealous , but I have been seeing Nikki anywhere from 10 to 30 times a week ! On commercial for Great American Country . How long will you be off the boat ? Looking forward to whatever you guys do , I am sure you will keep us entertained .
Nikki, I think the last trip with Humpbacks you seemed to be more excited last time than this time? Anyhow, I'm glad you had fun, got a chance to get to beat a drum, sing some songs, and have some fun!
When the whales are rubbing against each other (around 8:50) I wonder if that's to help each other get rid of parasites, barnacles, etc. (and/or because it just feels good). Awesome to see, either way, just amazing.
Diff my new fav video. Loved the ending with the musical experience at a distant tropical restaurant with good people just enjoying life and going where music takes you. Awesome
FAV so far! Exotic island, food and drink with music, dancing and friends. The best life has to offer! Hope y'all will consider doing a recap/review of sailing to date. Fav places? Adventure? Worst fear? What you'd done differently? What your immediate/long term plans are. Love this channel. Thank you so much....:-)
Wow . Awesome video . Really love your dive video shots . What a beautiful island to dive from sooooooo beautiful the colors of the water and sea life where spectacular . Nice to see the drenched gang again there fun to watch . Really awesome video you two . Thanks for sharing this great video . From Steve stott in sutherlin Oregon u.s.a.
Again you two are the luckiest couple in the world 🌍 you make everything look so easy and Beautiful at the same time. Enjoy your adventures 👍🏻 Thank You so much for sharing.
Always love your videos. BUT!!! Now that your boat is going for some repairs....before you spend all that money on her, we all know how fashion forward you guys are and how you are constantly looking to improve your surroundings, I ran across this video, that will make you GREEN with envy. Yes it's a fabulous catamaran that this guy just bought. I know you will feel compelled to either sell yours or trade it for his. I suggest you do it before he gets too attached to it. Move quickly, before he makes HIS palace on water. I just know there is something you can work out. Both of you are so handy and your sense of innovation and her sense of fabulous decor will make you both the envy of the "high" seas. Here it is...move quickly as he loves cats too and will become too attached to make a deal. A little elbow grease and some throw pillows will go a long way.....don't say we never recommended some that will enhance your imagination. I can just see Nikki motoring through a strong gale in 6-7 meter seas while Jason gets some well deserved rest. I'm running for the door right after I post this so you won't come through the screen and get me..LMAO.....th-cam.com/video/byRFuAA0V5k/w-d-xo.html
Thank you both for another beautiful video! I know it must be hard work, but you make it look so effortless! Nikki, always love your explanations of what we see, always look forward to your weekly releases!
I didn't realize you were such talented bongo drum players. I got to give credit to those Humpbacks being able to dive much deeper than 40 or 50 feet anytime they wish.
Whoever put a thumbs down? Great video as always we look forward to Sunday's with the Wynns never disappoints. We started watching to learn about life in a RV as we planned to live full time in a Winnebago in the UK and Europe. Now we are hooked!
Thanks for recommending the Sport-a-Seat chairs! We purchased 2 of them and love using them on our 43 Mainship Trawler. Everyone loves them and we share your info.
Video was fantastic. I loved all of it. It is hard to capture a dining experience like that but you nailed it. Expedition Drenched are a favorite of mine also, so thanks for sharing. As a bonus to the quality and consistency, you both are so adorable and I wonder if she isn't actually Tinkerbell! I didn't want to make it weird but I am so envious of the two of you. Thank you for sharing yourselves with the likes of me. I will always be grateful, and until I start my own adventures I will have to enjoy watching two beautiful people sailing the great big beautiful ocean.....Fair weather and Fair seas, my lovely Fairies!
We had an interesting and fun night at La Paella Restaurant (year before last)- The entertainment was priceless - we ate lots, drank even more and had a blast!!
Hey just re-watch this video and realized the song was you on ukulele and jason singing. Love it you guys, great job. You should do more music. Love the new content to keep it up.
Smooshed a real culinary term if I've ever heard one. Lol i cant even imagine living a life sich as y'alls. Such beautiful places and great people's im enjoying eatching this as much like i were there with you thanks
One of my favorites! Enjoy these special moments as they will be with you for the rest of your lives. Sadly very few people ever experience the joy of ocean sailing and know not what they have missed! Me gusta mucho?👍✌️😊🙏🏼⛵️⛵️⛵️⛵️⛵️
So cool you got to link up with Drenched-- two great channels getting to play together. You should of snaked some of their underwater camera gear LOL-- they put out the best underwater videos on youtube.
Lovely video and you nail it again swimming with whales......Looks like everybody had a great time at the eating establishment......Hoping all your catamaran maintenance goes well....And enjoy your time off from sailing and I'll see you 4 when you get back on the water!
You just keep getting better. Really loved this video and particularly your underwater videos. You two are stars and we watch "Drenched" also. Grreat interaction. Thank you.
I loved this one, and it made me daydream even harder about having a boat and sailing to new places. But as fabulous as that daydream is, I find myself thinking about how much must be going on behind the scenes that we don't see. All of the maintenance on the boat, you are always pulling on rope after rope it seems, and I'm sure water gets in all the places it shouldn't. Do you have a video showing what it's really like when you're not exploring new islands and crystal clear water? If not, would you consider giving us a glimpse of what it's like? I saw your to-do maintenance list, it was overwhelming and I didn't even have to take care of it! We have a motorhome, and something is always breaking on it. I've heard that boats are like RVs in that regard x10.
When you showed the whales, it was either my emotions from being exhausted, or something stirring deep in me, that triggered a strong desire to at least give this a shot.
I think it makes us all want to sail into the sunset, right? But you've heard correctly. The boat is a LOT more work than an RV. For a taste of what it's like, head over to the blog & click on the "mods & maintenance" tab. Especially the early vids of our original refit. www.gonewiththewynns.com/sailing Curious Minion
Aww man, what an episode!! Just loved it all and wish it never stopped. The more cowbell had me LOLing. There's not many ppl around me that understand that line so it was just great lol!
Love you guys you are awesome, living vicariously through your amazing videos, keep up the amazing adventures for us land lovers stuck in the daily grind. Jackie from Charlotte!!
The patacones are called tostones in a lot of countries, especially the Caribbean. Columbia calls them patacon pisao. That might help folks look up instructions, though yours are great, even without you being able to do a show and tell. They are YUMMY.
it's 2230H in the UK and i need to get some sleep so i'll watch in the morning knowing that the Wynns will brighten up a dull foggy day and just above freezing 🥶 xx
I loved seeing the American and Turkish flags in the restaurant during the amazing singing. Two of my favorite nations. Great video.

Nikki you have the best voice for narration, I so enjoy your knowledge 💕
Yes she does I agree ! She should get a side job doing voice overs .
I feel as if her voice is much more relaxed from their time RV-ing. Sailing agrees with them.
Indeed! She could be the next Siri. Just don't do Alexa coz it sounds like spyware lol
Great call, I TOTALLY agree!

I'm running for the door right after I post this so you won't come through the screen and get me..LMAO.....th-cam.com/video/byRFuAA0V5k/w-d-xo.html
Always enjoy it when some of my favourite sailors from TH-cam get to meet up and have some fun together. Great video and best wishes to you all. 👍☺️
Wow, what an adventure! I loved the swim with the whales. Just think how few people have ever done that! Happy journeys and safe passage!
Thank you both for another beautiful video! I know it must be hard work, but you make it look so effortless! Nikki, always love your explanations of what we see, always look forward to your weekly releases!
Beautiful! Never a dull moment with you guys! 🚣
Yay! Welcome aboard!
We were able to watch your video. As usual it was awesome. We didn’t have any issues. But we will watch it again because it was so good...
You two always make my day, thank you for the lift, I needed that.
Thanks for recommending the Sport-a-Seat chairs! We purchased 2 of them and love using them on our 43 Mainship Trawler. Everyone loves them and we share your info.
Sweet! 😘
So, all this time I've been watching you I thought you guys were living my dream life. Turns out it's Maria and Eduardo who are!
From a strict landlubber such as I, your videos from the sea are a joy.
Wow! The Wynns and Sylfia in one shot! I'm happy!
It is snowing with a -10° windchill in MN. What a nice respite. Thanks
That looks epic!! A true paradise ❤ would love to visit Tonga 😊. Maybe my travels will take me there soon 👍
It's not often I subscribe but you guys earned it. Love watching your free lives at Sea.
@8:32 "Because I was inverted." He's excited for the new film 😂
Hey just re-watch this video and realized the song was you on ukulele and jason singing. Love it you guys, great job. You should do more music. Love the new content to keep it up.

Those evenings with the locals are the cherry on the sundae for you and us too.
Beautiful vid! Thank you so much for sharing the atmosphere you create, you're a part of!
Especially the early vids of our original refit. www.gonewiththewynns.com/sailing

When Nikki is laughing and smiling - I feel like the sun is shining, and my burden is lighter. She makes me happy too. (10:29 12:10 12:35 20:05)
My new favourite channel. Keep up the focus on sailing and life aboard.
The underwater videography is just beautiful...Tonga looks amazing. Thank you :)
