  • What is a crash cart? Health Ed Solutions lead instructor Mark Dzwonkiewicz explains what a crash cart really is, what medications to expect inside a crash cart and the necessary crash cart supply and equipment checklists. Mark covers the differences between an adult crash cart and a pediatric crash cart. He discusses the Broselow Tape and its role in the pediatric emergency cart (trolley) - otherwise known as the Broselow Cart (Trolley).
As always, Mark has a little fun and shows you why a crash cart is called a "crash cart". Thanks for watching and stay tuned for more lessons in our "One Quick Question" series.

I got to see a crash cart up close and personal when I was in the epilepsy monitoring unit. I guess their protocol when they need to administer rescue medication was to also bring the crash cart. 🤷🏻‍♀️ maybe they had the medicine on the crash cart. The world may never know.
