@20:15 or just before there appears to be pictures kg bomb damage, but the close up of the damage is that of the North Transept not of the Chancel. Also the above picture shows the North Transept damage too.

Have enormous respect for Jardine but sad when facts are wrong. The bomb over the high altar exploded in the inner roof and was in October 1940, not 44. The second picture of the hole in the floor is the bomb which exploded in mid air in April 1941 in the north transept, she says it landed in the crypt and did not explode and was defused by a very brave man. Completely wrong. Where on earth did that come from?? The pictures are of two different bombs. Also the unexploded bomb she refers to earlier landed outside the cathedral's west end near the stairs. Do think we all need to check dates and facts sometimes.

Como neófito me pregunto, ¿ la bella y buena Arquitectura, no conjuga la proeza de aprovechar al extremo el conocimiento matemático y físico, con el sentido de lo estético?.Wren, a pesar de mi ignorancia, me parece un grande!!!

Good, and enthusiastic, but it did become a ramble.
