The heavens opened for shearing day!!!

Hows farming in the UK this summer going for you?!
All smiles and laughs until the sky turns grey and lets out yet another HUGE downpour….AGAIN! When we gonna catch a break ey. One thing about farming is, you always know you’re not alone, there is a lot of us waiting for the sun to stay for lots of reason!
Shearing was cancelled……to be continued tomorrow 6.30am SHARP. So let’s see if we manage to get the rest of the flock shorn before anymore rain!

It’s grim shearing wet sheep, not to mention the boards getting slippy and the risk of boils 😬 But I suppose if anyone is going to be used to it, Jack will!
