charles your songs have helped me see the light through some pretty dark times i’ve had the toughest year of my life in the last 8 months it started with me buying my first home 2 days later a 6 pointer buck totaled my car a week later my dad died a 9/11 fdny first responder died from drinking himself to death from ptsd. i had to pay for his funeral and was left pinching pennie’s to pay the bills for my new home already falling behind. a week later found out we were having a baby boy it felt meant to be my dad couldn’t be here so he sent me a son. two months later my wife’s grandma dies from pancreatic cancer. a week later my wife and i were hit head on by a drunk driver. We’re seriously hurt my wife’s membrane was ruptured at 19 weeks pregnant. I have Multiple broken bones and injuries but i couldnt get any surgery because She could of went into labor at any time. she had the baby premature at 32 weeks we just got out of the hospital with the baby and have been their since the accident for a total of 4 months. My baby boy has to come home on oxygen because of this drunk driver. Let alone i’m lucky to still have the house to bring him home to. My credit was ruined from not working paying bills for the house before credit cards. Was barely able to keep the house scraping by. My life has been in turned upside down and i’m feeling broken from it. your songs are helping me put some of the pieces back together and get through each day when i feel like i can’t. Dont ever stop you were meant for this and people like me need your music. Thankyou 🙏

Seen live twice; excellent - if you ever get a chance to see them w/ Zach Bryan, its a show worth seeing, simply based on the clear friendship between them all. It is criminal that he does not get the attention he deserves; musicality on par with all the heavy hitters today, and frankly an unmatched voice. For anyone looking for more CWG, also worth listening to his earlier work with Union Sound Treaty.
To get the attention he would have to sell out to the slimeballs that control it. He’s better off maintaining control of his music, the product. Same with Larry Fleet. If they sell out to the big machine, they won’t be able to be as creatively authentic. They’ll have to have drag queens on stage or some crazy 💩
On the way to the mountains a couple of weeks ago for my wedding anniversary, my wife and I had dinner at Black Bear Burritos in Morgantown. In between the typical college music came CWG's distinctive voice- Seneca Creek is such a quality song.
Charles and the boys are nothing short of incredible. Seneca Creek is my dream life in a song. Finding your love and living your life together in the mountains raising a family together. Who wouldn’t want that.
I went and saw CWG open for Zach last year. As much as I love Zach’s music CWG honestly blew him out the water. It’s not about that albeit but just gives perspective of how great this band is

Saw you live at Pappy & Harriets in Pioneertown, CA whilst on vacation from the UK! You and the band were awesome although it was tight, hot and compact inside you could have easily had more than 250 people to see you perform outside! My wife and I are looking forward to when you come over to the tour in the UK. Meanwhile keep your tunes a comin'!
