- Join us for an online concert as we welcome Charles Wesley Godwin and his band to the library stage Thursday, May 13th at 7pm EST!
We’ll be broadcasting the show on Facebook, TH-cam, and via our website.
Charles Wesley Godwin’s sound is shaped by the time weathered hills and hollers of his home. Charles is a singer-songwriter born and raised in West Virginia. Nowadays, if you'd want to find him, you’d look in any dive bar, café, or live music venue in Appalachia. Charles performs as a solo artist all across Appalachia and beyond. He’s grateful to have shared the stage with artists such as Shooter Jennings, Luke Combs, Waymore’s Outlaws, Aaron Watson, Colter Wall, Tyler Childers, Nicholas Jamerson, and many more.
Whether he’s performing solo for a room full of patrons who’ve quieted to a barely audible murmur or a music hall full concert goers breaking in their boots to the rhythm of a Union Sound Treaty tune, Charles Wesley Godwin turns heads and opens ears everywhere he plays. His stories strike a chord in all of us, and his voice gets the point across with a genuine authority. You’ll certainly be hearing Charles Wesley Godwin for years to come. - เพลง
This dude should be preforming in front of thousands of people he is better than 90% of what’s on radio today
There are 7 of them.
@@weirdmood8102 His songs are self titled aren’t they? So it’s his music. Not the other 6, so yes he should be performing in front of thousands of people, self titled artists don’t always use the same performers to aid them.
Darn these guys are good. I mean like really good. Would love to see them live.
This is some kind of Gem. Love the storytelling and true meaning behind each and every CWG song. Band will be headlining Red Rocks someday & this will be a timestamped archive. I wish Country music still got played on Country radio!
Beautiful voice, great songs and incredible band, thank you Charles Wesley Godwin!

This man is a walking cello.
Прекрасное выступление! Песни очень мелодичные, красивые и безупречно исполнены! Браво!👏👏👏
Жаль, что нет совершенно никакой возможности оказаться на Вашем живом выступлении.😥
It amazes me how if you don't over engineer the sound, the live recording sounds like the album which sounds like the group in real life 🤔
Reminds me of Gordon light foot
Same here.
I have been saying this to my friends and they don't agree. The story telling and the voice is totally gordon lightfoot!
@@warren-freshoffthevinemediaYep, struck me the same. Great barritone but I think Charles' voice has a little more depth to it.
more views if a song list was made
Can anyone tell me where these old boys are from, is there anywhere around Kentucky where I live I'd like to know where they play at ,id

Charles is from WV. Looks like they are coming to Tennessee soon and will be in KY in December.

@@lisalambert609 thxs,it's nice to find new to me artist that I can go and watch a show and then slip back home and brag about him, ha thxs again.
Not sure how many were in attendance or if this was mainly for your library archive. But if this show was held largely to archive it, you’re wasting time not having a little better audio recording. The low frequencies are not playing back right for me at all. Hopefully it’s a TH-cam issue
This "poor" quality recording sounds better than my XM radio full of shit
@@tahoeben you Sir win the internet! From myself in Australia to the Bering Sea. This music would sound amazing anywhere. Fullstop
