When they can’t give you a price they are not for sale. Been there way too many times. 😂😂😂
So awesome!!! So proud to say that you s my cousin Bob and Ellen Stanley!! ❤❤
Take a drink of beer every time he says “It was a good running car!”
or when he says "convertible"
stripped block on the ground"it was a good motor when removed". things are worth what you will pay.
I'll just wait for the auction
First of all... I thank him for his service. The old timer has some pretty cool pieces, but.... his propensity to purchase convertibles, parts cars and vehicles in general... then subsequently park them all, never to touch them again or do anything with them, protect them etc has lead to property filled with items that are worth more in his mind than in reality. It's truly sad.
Many are salvageable, but... Probably not at the prices he's asking.
Sadly I have to agree. This looks like a future Van den Brink auction. Some of the cars like the early 60s Chevies and Fords will bring some money but the rest, not so much.
All those engines sitting outside on ground and weeds. Man oh man
Parts now..sad!
so sad for sure as most of the good cars as well!!
The 283 with the hump heads hurt to see out there.
Did he say $5,000 for that red 64 coupe? I would have thought $500-1,000. Aye aye aye.
Dodge long bed is not bad @all.Couple nice old trucks in a row there..thanks for taking me with you once again Mr Goodpliers.Hi again from sth Australia 🇦🇺 👍 🐨🦘🐪🪃
Appreciate the gentleman's service!
Unfortunately prices seem a little too high for me. It's a shame to see so many vehicles in better shape chasing after ones in worse shape for parts cars. And to see that 348 sitting out in the open without any protection is heart wrenching 😢. Now it's just a boat anchor. Waaaay, back in 1981, my father and I were restoring a 1959 Chevy. We needed to replace the pistons on the 348. Found an old farmer/dirt track driver who had a 348 he won a major feature in Langhorne PA in 1964. It was upside down, sitting next to an old plumbing truck, under a torn up piece of canvas. The oil pan was rotted through, and it took all day with a torch and penitrating oil to get those pistons out.
I couldn't imagine how bad this one is 40+ years later 😳.
Unfortunately, I'm sure the auction will not be the same as purchasing it for him. They won't put together what he had in mind, and sell everything off individually. Kinda sad really. So if you wanted the original engine to a specific vehicle, you'd end up paying more (usually because you have to outbid someone) for something worh considerably less than the $$ you start with in the project 😢.
Thanks for sharing Tim much appreciated 😎🇺🇲🇺🇲🇺🇲
Not the average pile of relics past their usefulness. Of course the sad part is, even if he sells now, he and his bride won’t be able to travel or see the sights, waited too long !
Funny how the foreign car section starts right around oil embargo time. 🤔
all planned well in advance, 'scuse the pun
Tim have you thought about getting mics? I turn up the volume so I can hear what's being said, then it's so loud when you speak. Even though I couldn't hear half of what was said, I still enjoyed the video.
Awesome collection I'm thinking he wants little too much money for that stuff though
This video is screaming for its stars and costars to have microphones.... Can't hear half of what they're saying. 😡
This bring back a lot of memories. My father had a yard like this, his didn't have any big trucks, but a lot more car goodies! Dad had six or seven 58 - 60
t birds. Lots of 55-58 Ford cars. Dodges, Nashs, Buicks, Hudsons, Studebakers, Packards, and even a couple old Chevies. 115 cars total. Most of my dad's were coupes, 2 door hardtops, convertibles, and 2 door sedans. To him four doors were parts cars only!
PS, the Saab,Celiica, VW and Sooby's are all good sellers right now and they look dented but little rust .
I hate when someone won't price his own car's he hoping you offer more than it's worth i would have walked the minute he would not give me a price.
Nice 1961 impala bubble tops.
great video Mr. Goodpliers, I really enjoyed it 👍
Couldn't hear the owner so I turned up my TV ! Then when Howard Carter talks it blew my ear drums ! Lol 😄
The 61 Dodge convert would be my choice as a project. The styling is really out there.
Fun to watch, especially the '61 Impala sport coupes and '64 Galaxies. Amazing he would leave a Chevy "W" engine out in the weather, whether it's a 409, 348, car engine or low compression truck engine. Just the chrome valve covers were worth putting inside a dry car. Sheesh.
Could you find a way to level the volume difference between you holding the camera and the other people talking while walking around. Very interested to hear what they have to say but get blasted when the conversation turns back to you. Very interesting video.
I like the part where Joe says don’t question Tim on car identification!😂
Gold mine for potential projects, parts & pieces. Love the light blue T-bird convertible.Bobs place is crazy guys..greetings from sth Australia 🇦🇺 👍 🐨🦘🐪🪃
Thanks Tim enjoyed that
Excellent guys cheers 🥂 😊
such a shame the lack of taking care of the cars, motors, etc sitting out there all these years. Sad part is,if you wanted to buy something from him as it says in the beginning of the vid,in his mind as listening to him talk about things, you will pay a good chunk of money for it still.as these old timers, think a lot of that stuff is still put gas in and go!most will be estate sale bound.
There is so much potential with those solid old cars. It seems the dry climate did save them as potential restoring projects. The faster he lets this stuff go, the better chance those vehicles have. It is really time to sell them off as long as the owner is still around. Best is really to sell them in pairs. Once he passes they are sold off in a hurry and to much is getting crushed. At least he knows where the parts and parts cars are. He should write it down for those who might take over or sell it all. I started writing down for my family where a lot of parts are for my cars: Some in my basement, some in a barn, a lot in trunks of parked cars, running and dead.
Thank you for taking us along that was sweet thank you for the video
56 Ford station wagon light blue with v8 is pretty cool too.greetings from sth Australia 🇦🇺 👍 🐨🦘🐪🪃
It's amazing the number of 1961 Dodge cars he has. I have owned several of them and those cars would be great to put back on the road.
Wow, Joe, harsh dig at Kansas folk at the end! That said, the belle of the ball was a odd one - that 74-75 Toyota Celica looked bone dry. Someone in this country is gonna call Mr. 100 and offer him some nice cashola for that specimen. LOTS of nice, dry bones out there - that Ford station wagon is a 302/T5 combo away from being a SWEET beach cruiser!
Dad and I fixed up a 1961 Dodge Seneca in the 70s.
Lots of good Projects
The Gen1 GMC stepside is very appealing 😬. The fleetside at the end too!
I LOVE those old farm trucks! One day I'll have one in my collection.
Sweet collection! Sounds like a wonderful couple!
You guys. Are. Great. Thanks
Lots of gems
Its bound for an estate sale and the scrapper.
Yep. The same old story over and over and over. Old guy hoarding cars and parts since forever, neglects them, still thinks it's all worth top dollar, doesn't sell, goes to the scrapper.
Really amazing how this olet-immer,has plans, and visions of grandger for all these project cars..
If he had a ounce of sense..he'd sell all of them and then use the $$ to put towards just one car.. Horder!
Alot of good cars I like almost half of them love the 64 galaxies
Thanks !
Hi Tim, That really was a junk yard, the owner seemed keen to talk about the vehicles but less interested in actually selling them despite being 84 and wanting to clean up the yard.
I wonder if he has actually sold anything in the last 10 years ? The pathway between the vehicles seemed pretty worn.
For me the most interesting vehicles were the 2 Subaru wagons and the Toyota.
Keep the videos coming, cheers from Sweden.
So many cool projects...my fav. of course is that split window that got its roof chopped off. It looks cooler with its roof on though.
Nice collection of cars I didn’t hear him say anything about how much they were worth….
I loved seeing all the 1966 Ford Galaxies and would really like to get photos of the driver's door dataplates to get them recorded in the 1966 Ford Full-Size Registry.
you really need to get separate Mic's sound is either too loud or too quite!
I agree
Huge prices for cars sitting in the weeds with shot out windows. Makes it impossible for the average guy.
they all look very rough
This was a nice car and ran great when I parked it back in 1975 😂😂😂😂😂
A lot of collections like this in Washington state
Great video thanks for sharing 👍
Studebaker Lark wagon is killa & what it has a v8 now that's my kind of style just look @it...wow.
I think there is a good parts car as well. Actually to good to be parted out.
A lot of older iron out there ,Thanks for finding it and sharing
Some rare and desirable vehicles there. Dry also. Here in CO we get body rust but no heavy frame rust as it’s semi arid. I grew up in Massachusetts and new cars would rot in half in ten years with all the road salt
I like the unibody Ford pick up real well and the old Ford truck that was a three-quarter ton that had all the glass busted out of it but had the real good body I believe it was red and no rust to speak of about a 52?I think I saw about a 78 Toyota Corolla sitting right behind that Celica against the fence. I fooled with those little hemi Toyota corollas for years! I drove one for 17 years! Rust problems, but excellent little drive trains
You could braze or tack weld a quarter inch nut inside the little round pocket on the fuel pump where the pushrod that worked it was, similar to a Volkswagen. That would get it pumping fuel again when all the components are worn and adding up to not enough push to bring up the fuel. But the float and needle valve should’ve regulated the pressure going in and it really shouldn’t have made it run faster than a healthy stock one. But it would run better than one that was starving. I think that’s what he meant
I always like you Tim thank-you for this
Colorado does bonded titles! I have done several.
Guys I have to say it....I wish they were my grandparents....lol
Cool
Great to see the singer of Imagine Dragons accompanying you.
I like your channel
Wow, another great collection, thanks for bringing us along, there is a wide variety of gold here
Look like a impala next to it
you need to put mic`s on those guy's so we can hear what they are saying
348 left
409 right
Oh boy to bad it is outside
@@mikeabresch3827Seems to me if this guy really cared about his stuff, he would have covered that engine up or put it inside a building.
I watch adventures made from scratch with great interest too
When I go check out a place with old cars and the owner mentions EBay, Barrett Jackson or any other crap like that I stop in my tracks and leave so I don’t slap them when I hear ridiculous prices on vehicles and parts and wait till they pass away and just buy the stuff off a scrapper.
Don't worry, spiderman, because you will not be like him; instead you will be running American Real Classics magazine and driving a model T as your daily.
Tim Mr good pliers can you make a video about your latest rust ranch vehicles thank-you
Like so many guys with old cars, everything is a future project, too valuable to sell, but truthfully will just rot away. Been there before, no hope., too bad Windows rolled down , covrt tops gone, what a waste.
it might be a Harriet Carter moment
I think that ole guy is one of those that thinks every thing he has is made of gold
Yep. And then when he doesn't sell anything because he wants top dollar, it all goes to the scrapper. Same story over and over.
67 valiant 2door sedan looks like a good project 31:00
Is that a 67 next to the airport rig
seems like a few in there that could be restored but looks like most are 4 door cars that are not worth much except for parts cars for 2 doors.
I would take the 65 convertible
1961 impala bubble tops. is them for sale ?
Too bad he left everything exposed to the weather, too bad he wants too much for them & too bad they'll be rotting away there when he dies unless he get's realistic with his pricing.
He doesnt seem to want to sell just yet. Sentimental attachments.
He waste in. There time.
Ran when parked what a famous saying LMAO
I'm a British citizen like American vehicles of a bygone era its interesting this
If all your going to get is scrap price for them. I'd just let em set.
yup for sure, estate sale bound as most with these old timers.
i know it is not your specialty, but something really rare is a 70's celica.
They were very popular once.
COME ON OLD TIMER! Sell in bulk and take a vacation! Nothin there is what you think its worth..
GOD BLESS
I need to see some better views of that Ford tow truck, I swear it's identical to the one my dad used to drive in the early 1990s, even the orange stripe going down the sides.
I've heard that cars that are covered outside for years rust really bad compared to cars that are not. Perhaps the ol boy might should be made aware..😊
Way too much on pricing, newer generations aren't that interested in money pits!
lot of stuff, put a better selling price to that stuff ,get it sold ,before it all goes bad ,I liked the 61 unibody f100 .
What would he want for that 61 bubble top chevy
Jewelsburg ?
Improving the sound would go a long way toward making your efforts work. Best of luck
those are ripe for the crusher too far gone
Mopar videos I like
The sad reality is that These people who have collected all these old cars and trucks think that they have a gold mine of classic cars ! But 99% is worth about 225 dollars a ton 😢 mostly just rust buckets 😢
5K for a basket case 64 Galaxie Sport Coupe , need I say more . Been there before . But it has a title 😂
Who told you these are classics ?? 😂😂😂😂
Well sad to see. Most will never return to the road. By the time these are for sale at a decent price no one will be restoring them. I just likes to look at them
