- Welcome back to our 5 of 5 series where we show 5 different varieties of activities to do here in Merida. This installment was all about the restaurants that we frequent and support here in Merida. This is not a critique but rather a reflection of the deep appreciation we have for the restaurants that we have fallen in love with. Prior to the Covid outbreak Merida enjoyed a vast array of diverse and tantalizing restaurants. Since the outbreak there are still several really great restaurants here but many have had to close their doors. This is our opportunity to big-up the one's we know and love. We hope you enjoy this installment or our 5 of 5 series.

Try the Queso Relleno at El Museo de la Gastronomia Yucateca, delicious, also, gotta try Dal Baffo, looks top notch.
I don't think we've ever tried queso relleno. We'll keep that in mind!

Made note of your suggested restaurants. Will be applying for temp residency in January and hoping to move to north Merida to a 2/2 apartment. ( retired). Need a guestroom for visitors. I 🖤🖤 your videos! Sorry I found you are you were leaving Merida.

Hi! I was wondering if you would consider talking about the real estate bubble that's is forming in Yucatán. Because your videos are some of the first when you search for living in Mérida and maybe you could warn people about the "terrenos de inversión".
We can look into it but we are not versed on "investment property" as it pertains to Merida. Opinions vary regarding the security of it considering the epidemic that the planet is facing right now. But we will definitely look into it to see if we can bring any light to it. Thanks for engaging with us and the suggestion.

People here are nice and the town hall lets you know what events are taking place!! Serch cuatro cienegas coahuila! You will love the wine,food, dino fosils and much more o and o almost forgot termo waters!!! And the best cuts of meet!!! TENDER!!!

Honestly I would not recommend the Yucatan right now. Movements have been restricted, all cultural events canceled, booze cut off...not a good time for tourists. We will give an update of the situation here soon.

Hey guys, I saw your video about the seafood delivery here in Merida. Could you tell me in which Facebook group I can find his info? I've been searching and searching. Plus I never use Facebook so I'm not even sure I'm doing the right thing....many many thanks!!
Look for 'Pablo Ku' on facebook. He's the fisherman from Progreso Beach that delivers to Merida. Send him a message to find out the next time he'll be headed to Merida. I believe I first saw his post in the 'Merida Mexico Expat Community' facebook.com/groups/332213263872124.
Would have liked to know the prices. That first one was super expensive for Mexico.
We feel that $22 for 2 high quality seafood entrées was a very good price. Other establishments of equal quality were more expensive. Regarding the other prices yeah, we agree the prices would have been nice but during the shooting neglected to record them.... 🤷🏾♂️
You need to go where the locals go. You went to where all the tourists go. Twice the price!
The only touristy restaurant we went to was MUGY. We checked out the other restaurants before hand and they were all filled with locals 🤷🏾♂️. But if you have any highly rated restaurant suggestions, hit us up!
Actually Silver fish is for me one of the worst seafood restaurants in Merida. Fun fact: It´s always empty.
They were packed everything we went before the pandemic and I gotta say that ceviche and that almond crusted salmon was 💣 😋 -but different strokes for different folks!
If you come to Merida again I truly recommend La Pigua which is also a seafood restaurant 👌🏼
