#gamehunting #japan #videogames @4amLaundry took me to one of the best book off in japan but itwas so far away but it was worth it to get to / @4amlaundry
if you can while you're in Japan try to keep a look out for a super-ultra-mega-rare 1995 PC game called Noah's Ark, it only ever came out in Japan and it's never been dumped online so it's gotten a decent amount of attention as lost media. If you could find a copy of that game and get it online that would be incredible.
Great video, big fan of yourself and Pim. Got both a Hori Neo I and II for my AES, and marginally prefer the II, but both are LIGHTYEARS better than the standard AES stick and the “jellybean” one. Easy enough to mod too, buttons and stick, as well as cosmetics, but really do like them as is. Currently disassembled to clean the rust and make them beautiful again. Rust is inevitable on these sadly, but not a deal breaker :) Looks like you had a blast :)
That other guy described that the arcade stick in the Black Box is for PC engine. I can confirm its a Multi console Arcade Stick for Sega Mega Drive, PC engine and Super Famicom. Adapters enable these features. Personally own one and its great. Btw nice Shopping Tour. Your excitement and passion filled the air
Hey you're right, looking back it did say Famicom, PC Engine and Mega Drive, I just read PC Engine and didn't look further. What an awesome stick and it explains the price. I'd have considered it a bit more if I knew that back then haha
Just found the channel, first video watched. Prompt subscription. Glad to see you're putting the price translation on screen! Saves me having to do quick maths! ❤
I wouldn’t say the cheapest the Manga Soukas in Okinawa are better and cheaper and more stacked even discounts with coupons get up to 1500 yen off plus tax free with passport! but Book Off, Hard Off and Hobby Off are high up there on my list I always stay away from Tokyo everything high priced my new favorite city to shop is in Hiroshima for video games and Pokémon cards they are stacked with amazing prices and hunting was fun plus I mail everything back with USPS on base in iwakuni or Okinawa mailed back 5 big boxes
Thanks for hanging out!
Thanks for the invite
Great video! Glad to see two youtubers I watch collaborate, doing retro game hunt! Wish I am there to purchase that Clear Blue N64 box!!
Awesome video my man! Thank you for the content! Japan looks so great!
Pim is a king of game hunt there. Watch his great live hunt streams!

Hey! I'm aware of it and have been actively looking out for it for years. Not sure if I'll ever find it but happy to do my part.
@@4amLaundry Cool thanks, have you posted on the thread for that game on the Lost Media Wiki forums?
@@jadedheartsz No since I've never really found anything on it but will definitely do if I find anything even remotely close.
@@4amLaundry OK cool
Cool to see you two together! The NEO GEO Hori stick was such a steal!
Hard off is an insane name. Feel like I gotta say pause just by walking in🤣
