Used this video as a first time JKU transfer case change. My son and I Watched the video a few times. Had one stud come out too lol. The top bolt required max torque on the smallest stubby wrench. T case slid out easy. No motorcycle Jack so I just did it old school on my chest. I want to rebuild the T case. I’ll be using more of your videos. Thank you sir
im about to install a tcase on 2wd to 4wd conversion i am doing did you also need to use that special wrench to get the nut off that was behind the linkage bracket??
My driveshaft failed and the vibrations cracked the t case. While I'm waiting for the new one to get here I ordered the wrench/socket you suggested. Even with the cross member still in place (ordered a beefier one of those too), I am able to get on that tricky nut and turn it. Very much appreciate that tip.
I have a hydraulic jack with a flat plate attached to the pad on top of the jack, ( or weld a peice of bar on the flat that fit where the pad goes, second version) and a ratchet strap or two, all the best to you and your loved ones

So you sugeest in order to remove transmission to get the transfer case first
Is the electrical connector just squeeze and pull? Or is it that ridiculous security connector they like to use ?
For me it was just a squeeze and pull, but it took a lot of force to get it to unlatch
