Great video, full of useful tips. I just realized that I do these tricks all the time, without watching any Zed videos. I just play how I it comes from my inside, just how I like to play it. Now I feel like I am an advanced Zed player :D
Your tricks really help me getting better with Zed. I started playing with him recently and right now I can get some things right but unfortunately not all and I end up with stats like 8/4/xx. Watching this video helped me getting some ideas for playing him.
@Redmercy how about making a relatively quick tutorial on zed for s6? As in, for people who already know the basics, to let them know of possible builds against different types of enemies, when the power spikes are, what to look out for maybe a couple of more tricks :D

I'm an unranked player with terrible macro, but my champion mechanics are really good and I was surprised to find that I've actually done the anti-skillshot and the shadow kill multiple times before. Thanks a lot for the video, I'm really going to have to implement the delayed shadow into my games. In those situations I tend to just put and combo, and if that doesn't work, just escape.
Why would he be 9/10 banned? His useless once u get zhonyas and they're team will usually full ad when there's a zed which is freelo once u stack armor. Plus there's so many new champion with invulnerability ults that makes him useless in this meta. Your probably taking about urf cause that's a dum ban in 5v5 normals when there's so many ways to stop him.
+Lee Shengshun Well, I'm a bronze scrub but I disagree. With Riot's new changes to qss, it won't cleanse his ult so adc's are basically screwed. The only champions with invulnerability ults are Taric, Kayle, and Tryndamere. Taric is easy because you know when it's going down so you just wait to ult. Kayle is zed's counter pick so that makes sense. Tryndamere can only ult on him self so don't focus him. Zed gets armor pen from his must used builds so tank meta is not very effective on him(but still hurts).
A little tip for the first trick or for anytime you want to ult as fast as possible but youre not in range: If you are out of range of for your ultimate you can throw your W shadow out then ulti the enemy. Since you're not close enough to ult, you will start pathing in their direction, but if you teleport to your W shadow (given that it's close enough to the target), you will instantly ult the enemy from afar. You technically DO teleport to your W but since you already have your ultimate targeted on the enemy, you instantly ult them after you teleport to your W shadow. The combo goes as follows when you're out of range to ult W>R>W Then you will begin the death mark. Its actually hella cool and they never expect you to jump in that fast.

Yeah if you see a spinning shuriken over the enemies' head, then the damage from the mark will be enough to kill the enemy. However many champions have some sort of healing or shield ability, and some will buy zhonya's or have an ability that makes them invulnerable, like fizz's e. So it's safer to just kill them immediately rather than wait for the mark.
I did really like your 4 techniques. But you could also add one last thing to the shadow's kill: you can kill someone with deathmark (or low enough so the death-shuriken appears) and then go back to your old ult position. This is really nice when doing a towerdive. Oh and in a potential duell to the death know this: when you use your e and your autoattack would be ready, it will instantly cast/do dmg which gives you another advatage in trades.

There is actually a play that I'm not too sure if many knew however it actually only involves Zed's W Q and flash. If you want to extend a Zed Q with low reaction time on your enemy, some players might for for the W swap flash Q, however it is possible to throw W, then as you throw your q, during your Q animation you swap clones and flash. It's very difficult to do, with little reaction time on the enemy but it is possible.

Hello Redmercy. We need a Zed split guide. Like when do you save your w and when do you use wqe to push. In which bush will you wait for adc or jungle. Where to ward. What to tell your teammates. When do you go back to teamfight or keep pushing. And also, we pretty much need guides for killing specific champion like top Ekko, top Malphite, top Tryndamere that you need good technique to kill them. Like you use ignite on ulting Kayle or ult 1second after her ult. Like when you split and chased by Gragas, you put W behind him and get ulted intentionally, then you ult him. As the result, you can escape in both W or R direction. Thanks.

+Redmercy hey Red,i just wanted to tell you that if you E,Q with yasuo,to spin you can use tiamat and cancel the animation,so you do E,Q,Tiamat in 1 second :D Pls make a vid about this,you can also cancel other animations with tiamat,for example:you can do E,W,Tiamat,Q and cancel the animatons :D
The problem with the last one is, there could be a number of reasons why Zed players don't like to finish with just Death Mark. Maybe the enemy has Zhonyas, an ult that heals them, anything that can outplay the death mark. But if you pay attention to what the enemy has, then yes you can pull this off.
There is one trick which can be useful most likely common if you play alot with zed but if you use Q or E and instantly as the skill activates you use W, your skills will be used on you first but when your shadow comes out the skills will activate on the shadow if i remember correctly that should be what happens if it doesnt work you should use W first then the Q or the E

what about when you ult someone do your e auto throw your w behind them then reactivate your ult and use that other shadow to finish them of. very good way to tower dive then you can get double qs and not be in tower range.... i feel like this would of been a better last one then the other

It's kinda buggy if there is some damage over time like Ignite or Duskblade passive used on the target
