I live in Florida, so they serve not only as travel snacks, but as hurricane season staples, especially the non- refrigerate cheese, I have a "hurricane pantry", I'll shop and add this to it. I check dates and eat as expiration dates come closer. Also, great for camping. Thanks so much! ❤
Thank you so much and we think very much like! I keep a lot of these things for staples for emergencies and camping. Enjoy shopping and getting some great nonperishable food.💕😊
I love the idea of having a travel pantry! Great video as always, looks like you had a lot of fun! Can’t wait to see how you use all of your purchases!
I can go crazy buying those small packs of food as well...even when I've no travel plans. Haha! Idk...I just like having them. They have a remarkably long shelf life and they're great for sudden cravings/hunger pangs. I find the snacks in random aisles at a local CVS, Dollar Tree/General, community shops, and lately online store recommendations.
I think we are related😂🤣 I’m always bringing little snacks with me and I’ll tell you in this last year from waiting around in the hospitals and emergency rooms and such, it has been really good to have those things😊🙏❤️
I hear you, they don't stick around long enough to get used for travel!! I am bad at noshing on nibblies while watching DVDs. Especially when I borrow a series from the library and have only one week to watch it all before I need to return it. My latest addiction is A Discovery of Witches. The series pairs well with moon cheese, nori, senbie mix, chocolate, and choya (a Japanese plum wine with a large sweet pickled plum in the bottle.)
@@jenharvey3397 well now with stage, three kidney disease and diabetes, I have learned to not eat anything after my evening meal, which is usually around five or 6 PM. It’s really the only way I can keep my blood sugar stable.. so those snacks are really use as part of a meal plan on eating with a meal😊🙏❤️
@@TheoryofSimple That is very sensible. It is the plan whenever I buy them too, it just sort of ends up a bit different LOL! I wish I had your self control, as I also have some very serious health issues I am battling.
@@jenharvey3397 it was the health issues that forced me into making that decision. Although I do have to tell you that I sleep better at night since I stopped eating at 6 PM.😴💤🛌
YES YES to more shopping spree/travel haul videos. Trader Joes is a great place to find individual snacks. They ahve a great nut section and offer some of their nut/fruit/chocolate mixes in individual bags. I not only like these snacks to use when traveling, but also to keep a couple in my purse at all times. I'm nursing a shoulder injury right now, so when I'm out and need to take Advil or something similar, I need to have something in my stomach. This way I'm always ready !!!! thank you for another great video, Eunice !! Have a wonderful weekend.
Thank you so much for sharing the Trader Joe’s ‘ I haven’t been there in a while so I’m gonna have to go take a look. It’s not very close to my house, so I rarely get there. Thank you so much for sharing.🙏😊❤️
Yes, Trader Joes is the best place to buy snacks (and other stuff). I make a stop there every time I cross the border - sadly, we don't have the chain in Canada, but once I cross the border it's only about a 20 minute drive. Their frozen appetizer section (what my step mother always called "hot pickies") is amazing too. And their mandarine chicken, I swear, must contain crack, because it's impossible to resist! It's hard not to go overboard with all their amazing sweets and cookies - those coloured chocolate coated berry and fruit mixes are perfect for a little bit of something sweet on a long trip. I buy their 'dehydrated' sponges for my little travel kitchen, they take up no space in the bag until you add water and they pop up to regular size. Cheap enough so I can toss in the trash at the end of my trip and not worry about schlepping back home. Their shampoo bars are quite cheap too, and last forever. I love them for travel because they don't count towards my liquids.
@@jenharvey3397 oh my gosh, I love those potstickers! I swear I could eat two bags in one sitting! And I do love those chocolate covered berries! Now I’m gonna have to get to Trader Joe’s! 😂
Ok, here is my third and last comment:).. on this video. I remembered I buy snacks in the baby aisle. Like motts apple sauce in a bag. Healthy, easy, SMALL amount.
Oh my gosh! I have done that to! I never posted because I thought people think it was crazy! 🤣😂 what does little pouches are great for travel because you can just eat them and some applesauce right out of the little bag or squeeze it right into oatmeal! I love that you do that🙏❤️😊
Yes, please! Do more travel snacks/meals! I like to travel (in car/train/bus) with a sleeve of saltines, a 3.25 oz. can of kippered snacks, 1.5 oz. Jif to Go Peanut Butter cups or 1.5 oz. packets of Justin's Classic Peanut Butter, and a few Laughing Cow Cheese triangles, Great Value Sharp Cheddar Snack Cheese .75 oz. slices, a can of StarKist Chunk Light Tuna in Water, 3 oz., one of Swanson Premium Chunk Chicken Breast in Water, a small baggie of raisins, one of Goldfish, one of pretzel sticks and one of cashews. (The fish items and peanut butter are for use in the motel/hotel room, not an airplane!) I also bring little beef sticks and jerky, a couple inches of Pringles, some M&Ms, Reese's Pieces. and Andes chocolate mints. The little cans of meat/fish are OK in carry-on bags so long as they are in the liquids bag along with the peanut butter Laughing Cow cheese.
Hi Eunice❣️ As usual you never disappoint🤩 and YES of course to more travel haul videos❣️ World Market definitely does look like your travel candy store and I can’t wait to go SHOPPING 🛍🤩
Eunice, u done did it now. Whyyyyyy?? Now I gotta go to world market and go get me some snacks. I didn’t know they had all that. Oh my Lord! It’s like nirvana. I travel a lot too so u know this is like gold info. Thx u.
Oh Terrie! I feel like I’m an enabler! But truly you’re going to really enjoy being in that store first little travel treats are just a blessing! Let me know what your favorite find is😊🙏❤️
Sadly here in Australia we don't have Whole foods, Trader Joe's or World Market. In our main supermarkets (Coles, Woolworths) they have an aisle of health foods and international foods, also pick n mix with nuts, dried fruits, etc, however because of our very strict customs and immigration laws it's hard to bring in loose / opened food items. All food, herbs, medicines have to be declared or dumped. I take sealed, individual protein balls, small sachets of nuts from Aldi, breakfast bars with protein. Maybe a small sachets of oatmeal if I'm on a work trip.
@@TheoryofSimple I can take them out (I make a similar type Bento box, but its difficult to bring food back (unless I have unopened sachet packets that I declare at Customs). Often flying back on low cost airlines, I arrive in Brisbane at 5am, and the cafes in the airport are not open, and then I get a 90 minute train home to the Gold Coast...so it can be challenging and I get hangry :(.
Me too!❤️ I sometimes take some of the dried fruits from my yard and put it in with a T so it gives it a tiny little bit of sweetness without a lot of sugar! Maybe I should do a video on that? Thank you so much for sharing that and if you have a great tea recipe, would love to see it.🙏😊❤️
At World Market you gotta try the Haribo Lemon-Ginger Gummies 🤯. They are mildly sweet with no punch of bitterness from the lemon, and the ginger gives a little of its own spice flavor. I buy 5 (or more 😜) bags at the time, but gotta be careful because I WILL eat them all at once if I could. They are dangerously amazing!!
@@laurilenhardt2188 well as luck would have it I have to head back there tomorrow, so maybe I’ll pick some up!😊❤️ thank you so much for letting me know❤️😊❤️
Have mercy! World Market is a boon for travel food and prepper supplies / bugout bags! (You said the magic words "shelf stable" and "travel size"). Great find Eunice! I haven't been to a World Market in about 15 years I think. Need to go check them out. (Haven't traveled in about 5 years...and will be another year yet before I get to head back out). These might help with my desparate need for portion control too. Thanks again for the good find.
Thank you so much, Jonathan! Yes, it’s a great place to get some small portion control size of shelf, stable food! Can’t wait for you to get out and have your next travel adventure❤️😊🙏
This was great!!!! I did a Google search to see if there was an online option for this store and found there is a physical store on the other side of the city!!!! Yay!!!!
Yes! I used to do the same thing for my son when he was deployed! I think all the guys love getting just a little something especially if it’s good food😊❤️🙏 please make sure you tell your son thank you for serving our country🇺🇸
@@TheoryofSimple And you to your son too please. I do want to shout out to Art of Shaving store. A manager gave me a box of their shaving cream samples so I could send periodically so my sons could share with his platoon.
@@TheoryofSimple That is something more people should know. Unless we have a loved one serving, it doesn't cross most people's minds. I never had children and have not had a relative serving (except grandparents and great uncles during WWII), but I have talked my church into 'adopting' a platoon serving overseas at Christmas time, sending mostly comfort items and shelf stable food treats that could be shared. It was very well received!!
@@jenharvey3397 that is awesome!❤️ do note, depending on where they are stationed there a certain things you can’t send over like for example pens, and if they’re in a Muslim country, you cannot send over pork. So you just have to find out the restrictions.🙏❤️
Actually I too go to world market for my travel pantry items. I’ve not thought of my return trip snacks to pack as I tend to grab some of the foreign snacks and bring those home.
Yes, I usually try to bring something home from my trip. That way it gives me a great souvenir when I pack it up for my next adventure I always think about the previous trip.! of course it all depends on where you’re going and what’s available😊
Eunice...are you out shopping again??? HeHeHe... I just wanted to say hello and wish you and David a nice weekend this wonderful sunny timeion Our beautiful part of the world! I have to ease in myself...whew! almost to hot for me this first hot day out in the garden... but that is such a misery isn't it??? HahHa! So, enjoy yourselves!

Love love love this video, we don’t have this store here in Hawaii, it was so much fun shopping with you virtually, we do have many varieties of mac nut chocolates lol. I love mini things so the store was so much fun. Thank you for such an entertaining video. Thumbs up
Thank you so much, Kiki! Hopefully this diet and exercise plan, or helping me not only look better, but the better internally! I think having David Home is helping because I’m not as worried. Hopefully will be continuing to lose weight and get healthy.😊🙏❤️
Hi Eunice! Yes, more videos like this! These little packages also make great snacks to throw in my work bag, and you're right, portion control is important. My husband is diabetic, and after years of monitoring his food intake and blood sugars, we have found you dont have to limit what foods you eat as much if you have correct portion sizes. Moderation is key! Hope David is feeling better!
Yes!!! Thank you for confirming that! I can have sushi with a little bit of rice, but I can’t eat a lot of rice! But I can still enjoy some of my favorite Japanese foods in small portions. And even pizza if I just stick to one slice versus three or four and take a walk after I noticed that I can tolerate it.! I’m so happy that you are monitoring that with your husband and I’ll let you know how it goes with me as I start to bring my insulin resistance down.🙏😊❤️
I had to chuckle over the store being 25 minutes away and you having to stock up to make trip worthwhile! I live 30 miles from the closest town. I can relate about having to stock up! Note: I'm so excited the store you shopped at is only 70 miles away from us!
Well, you know the San Francisco Bay area, 25 minutes on a good day could mean over an hour with some traffic! Also, I have noticed in the last year there have been some supply chain issues and I have been to other cost plus pockets and they have been totally out of things so when I do see them, I buy them!🙏😊❤️

Great tips! A tip I use is getting a box of 8 packets of Starbucks instant coffee, they have a pretty good decaf Italian roast. I usually drink Pete’s coffee when I’m home but this is a great option. Just add hot water.
I use those too, the ones with cream already included. I cannot drink coffee black, and I hate the fake creamer stuff, but whatever they use in the Starbucks singles tastes OK. I like the form factor too, you can fit so many of them in a Stanley cook mug, which I always bring on trips loaded with coffee, herbal and green tea, and soup packets, along with an immersion coil and Esbit stove, in case I find myself needing to heat water outdoors.
Im incredibly envious of your travel haul and would definitely love to see more videos like this! Watching all these videos makes me want to go book a trip somewhere so I can pack all these various little bags like you do and swan about knowing Im so well prepared the rest of the plane will be green with envy lol. Hi Eunice, Remember chocolate is a food group. Chocolate, desserts are my downfall. Thanks for showing all the handy snacks. When I travel I try to pick up honey from the country I am visiting. Such different flavours. The travel pantry/bin is a great idea.😊

I just got a beehive, and I’m so excited to start getting my own honey and giving it away to my friends and neighbors. I can’t eat honey right now, but maybe sometime I’ll be able to add it to some tea. It is amazing how the different hoodies taste different, depending on where their bees are going.🙏😊❤️

Love some World Market! As a Canadian, we don’t have this store and the closest one is in Washington state about 2 hours away. I always hit it up before Xmas for stocking stuffers, but the prices are pretty steep on some items - especially with that US/CAD exchange rate these days 😅. Thanks for the video and showing some different items!

@@TheoryofSimple I have discovered there is a World Market in Ann Arbor, about 2 1/2 hours drive each way. Maybe a road trip before I fly to Vancouver Island in September to visit my mum.
I definitely eat pickles on the plane. And so far no one has said anything but again, I always ask my seat mates if they have an issue with anything that I have in my snack box. I don’t bring fish onto a plane, because so many people could be offended by it.
My go-to has just been to get a pack or two or Clif bars 🤣. I remember arriving to Beirut at a weird time, in an area that wasn’t the most walkable and I didn’t have anything to eat. So now, this is what I do as a just-in-case (if I can’t find anything else delicious).
Yes, that is always why I carry food when I travel! I’ve had many situations where you either land someplace and everything’s closed or stuck in an airport for long. Time and you don’t want to spend a lot of money, but there’s nothing really healthy. So happy you have a go to snack on your travels.😊🙏❤️

Lol! Julie, if we ever get together, we’re gonna be broke! 😂😅 I have a dollar store and a grocery outlet a quarter of a mile from my house and every time I walk up to go to work out at the fitness place. I end up stopping in those places on the way home and bringing something home with me.😂🤣
@@TheoryofSimple I know this to be true! We would probably have good shopping karma and want everything! I have to limit my trips to these places because my cart gets so full and my Boy Friend (though he loves the treats and nice things that I pack for our road trips) still says... Do we really need to have our own store at home? and of course I say yes! How do you think you eat so well and so fancy at a snap of a finger all the time? Anyway it is fun to do and at times it is like a treasure hunt when you actually find things you love and sometime at a bargain to boot! One day we will get together some where... maybe in the middle if not here... but for sure when things slow down to a slower simmer and the bees are buzzing at a comfortable speed too... good things come to those who wait... right?
I’ve heard mixed reviews about that? Have you used it and do you really like it and are you able to close the window shade down with the cupholder on their?❤️🙏
@Theory of Simple I have it and am awaiting the test run. It packs pretty flat, stays together easily, holds cups, phone, headsets well. Updates from the jury to come. As to window down, I suspect my sleep mask or blublocker sunglasses will remedy any concerns.

Great stuff, I have never paid this much attention to Cost Plus food items. I like the mini bars (Good & Gather brand) and mini grass fed beef jerky (Archer brand) and I get both items at Target. It's a good thing I'm eating right now. 😂. Years ago I worked at Denny's, we would keep a bag of chips so we can have it with the hot fudge. One of the girls turned us on to it. We thought she was nuts, but it tastes like toll House cookies coming out of the oven. That grocery store looks a lot like Jungle Jack's in Cincinnati. If you remember, when you open the Nutella, let me know if they have a spoon in the lid like they do on the big jars. Please and thank you,
I haven’t eaten the chocolate potato chip yet and I’m saving it for a trip but I can’t wait to eat it now that you’ve told me that! I lived in Ohio, and I’ve never heard of jungle Jack! So now I’m gonna have to go there when I go back to visit relatives in Ohio! So I just opened that little jar of Nutella, and it does not have a little spoon or spreader. But that’s also why I always carry a little something with me like a little spoon fork set so I always have a spreader with me.🙏😊❤️
It's Jungle Jim's, and there are two of them in Cincinnati. A friend and I headed straight from the airport to the original store on a trip a few years ago. It did not disappoint. It was huge, filled with tons of quirkiness and an unbelievable amount of items in every grocery category.
@@angieoconnell5411 my friends have a farm in Southern Ohio and I go there twice a year. And we made the pilgrimage to Jungle Jim's. LOL I saw stuff there that I had not seen in years. LOL I always find it fascinating note if you go to the grocery store and find something for $15.99, but then go to an ethnic store/section and the same thing is $3.99.
Thank you so much! It’s one of the things that I don’t eat very often but like I said when I’m traveling, I just need a little treat to look forward to. That with a nice hot cup of green tea just hits my spot.😊🙏❤️
Your store has such a great selection in those little bins. I made the 1 1/2 hour trip to Ann Arbor today, the closest one to me, but their food bins were very sparse, half were empty. I did get some different flavoured kitkat though - I love the matcha flavour! But they FINALLY got that honeycomb shaped necklace holder in! I have checked every time I have been near the store, and this is the first time I have seen it there. I got the ginko flower one too. They look really shapr hung with the dragonfly one I picked up last year for all my First Nations beaded necklaces.
I’m so glad you were able to finally get those necklace holders you were looking for! The store near me happens to be the largest Daiso in the United States and I think it’s because there are US headquarters is about 5 miles from my house!
Wow, that store had a HUGE selection. Unfortunately, I live in a more remote location and I do not have any stores like that. But your video gave me some great ideas. Keep them coming!

I'm so glad I found your channel. We live in SoCal now but are moving to Wales UK. Do you have any information about flying internationally with pets (we have 3 cats) and it has been a nightmare trying to get information on this. Thanks!!
Hi Cheryl, I don’t have any personal information on flying with pets internationally. I do have several friends who have moved overseas to different places with pets, and have given me similar stories.. I know that moving to the UK required one of my friends to put their dog for six weeks into a special quarantine place for rabies. I guess it’s because they don’t have rabies in the United Kingdom. I’ll see if I can find out some more information for you.🙏❤️
You inspired me...at the supermarket, I found a few single serving pack to try (a smoked salmon maple jerky & a sea salt edamame). We used to live close to World Market, Now the closest one is a 50 minute drive. Ill have to make a run down there and then hit up trader Joe's which is even further 😟
World Market/Cost Plus is my go-to store for stocking stuffers! I love that store and cant get out of it without a full cart - so much good stuff. Thanks for posting this and on my next trip I will try to focus on food items for travel. Such a great idea, Eunice!
You’re very welcome and I always love stocking up on things from world market! And I’m just like you, I never get out of there without a cart full of stuff😊😂🤣
On our last car trip, we stopped for gas and potty break, I discovered packaged pickles and some other healthier snacks. We had so much fun testing these new to us products. We do have a new market here, I need to go exploring! I loved the golden spoons and forks, what a nice addition to a bento box.

@@keeliehidden-coley6065 hi and welcome to my channel ! So happy to have you here ! I have not done a travel pantry video yet but thank you for reminding me. I will do that soon.! 💕😊
Oh, I am so envious of the great stores you have access to! My city is sort of cut off from the rest of the province and it's your typical lunch bucket union town, so not a place where people have adventurous tastes. I literally have to travel to another country to find decent stores that go beyond hamburger-and-potatoes! (And that takes me to Detroit, which isn't the most refined hub either) When I want to get great snacks, or any Japanese ingredients, I have to cross the border into metro Detroit. My stops there are Trader Joes and Aldi, both of which have varied delicacies at a good price. It also has the only Japanese grocery store within about 100 miles - tiny hole in the wall place with only 2 aisles, but it does have some decent choices. My favourite travel snacks include Trader Joes cheese bites, which are small mouthfulls of dehydrated cheddar cheese - literally only cheese, no other ingredients, but with the mouth feel of a cracker - dehydrated strawberries and blueberries from the same store, individual packages of roast nori snacks (perfect paired with the dried cheese), cashew clusters from Aldi, any Aldi chocolates (their chocolate is made in Germany and it amazing), rosemary fig artisan bagel bites, powdered miso soup, individual Mayan hot chocolate mix from Trader Joes, and small packages of mixed senbai. I also keep a few days' worth of lifeboat ration bars in my carry on bag, just in case. At Christmas this year, air passengers here in Canada were stuck in their seats on the tarmac for over 15 hours with no access to food and almost no water!
Oh my gosh, I had that tarmac experience in Canada many many years ago! We ended up having to fly to Cleveland overnight! I had babies screaming and crying on the plane because of mothers ran out of formula! That was actually pretty traumatizing for me. I had just stopped nursing my son, and her boobs were leaking all over the place and I wanted to feed his baby something! So that’s why I always carry snacks. Because even if I’m not planning on eating there on the plane, you never know when you’re gonna get rerouted or delayed or transferred overnight and you have at least a little something to eat and stabilize blood sugar! Phy
@@TheoryofSimple Yes, there were mothers running out of baby formula too. It seems so unfair, when they know the plane cannot leave for hours, that they won't allow people to go back into the terminal to wait in a little more comfort. For some of us, stabilizing our blood sugar can be supremely important. Made one of my shopping trips this morning, and found some maple glazed smoked salmon bites (jerky), which look really good. My teeth can't normally manage jerky, but I'm hoping the salmon will prove possible. Now I need to find another attractive mouse-proof box for my travel snacks, like the one I have for my bento box/sushi tools!
@@TheoryofSimple It came to me this morning as I was making coffee. I have 1 pressure canner and 2 water bath canners sitting on the top of my kitchen cabinets. They get frequent use most years (probably not this year though since all my efforts are going towards fighting the clutter and mouse infestation), but when not in use, are out of the way just under the kitchen ceiling. So I will move all my canning tools to the pressure canner, and use the two empty water bath canners to store my travel snacks! Mice can't get in, and I need to use a step ladder to access them, meaning I am less likely to mindlessly nosh too much while watching the latest episode of A Discovery of Witches, because I first have to go to the garage to get the ladder and then set it up, and if I am in the sort of lazy mood that normally brings on the mindless snacking, it's going to be too much trouble 🙂 So they will actually be there when I want to travel somewhere. I'll also pack one of my Green City Living eco bags full of travel snacks and keep in the fridge, along with my contigo bottle full of filtered water, so when I make a spontaneous road trip I can just grab and go and I won't be tempted to stop at a fast food window when my blood sugar plunges.
@@jenharvey3397 that’s a great use of space! It’s also a great way to keep things stored that you don’t use a whole lot! Thank you so much for sharing that Jen!🙏❤️😊
The olive oil and hot sauce would count as part of your carry on liquids? Thinking of a shampoo bar! I’d use a small plastic pouch to carry a portion of the olive oil to go with cheese and crackers and the prosciutto.
Yes, anything liquid counts toward that 311 rule and have to go into a separate liquids bag however, if you have TSA pre-check you don’t have to worry about doing that in the United States😊
@@karenfendley8026 it’s never as cheap as Dollar tree, but they have a much better selection and healthy choices and a lot of things from other countries😊
The canned smoked salmon is really good! I want to take it on a future group trip with other snacks in case I’m too tired to go out for dinner after a long day of sightseeing.
Yes! This is a perfect a snack size to also take along on a day trip when you might need something to snack on but you want something low-carb and higher in protein and fat! That’s also why I carry my little folding spoon fork combo because then I can eat it right out of the can! 🙏😊❤️

You are very welcome!😊❤️
I love that you do that🙏❤️😊
Oh wow, I would never have thought to do that, it's a great idea!

Thank you, Jane!🙏❤️😊
@@janewelsh6062 oh wow! So sorry you do not have a great selection! You can make some great snack on your own and bring them?🙏❤️😊
@@TheoryofSimple I can take them out (I make a similar type Bento box, but its difficult to bring food back (unless I have unopened sachet packets that I declare at Customs). @@dianashelton1371 that is awesome! Way to support our military! ❤️❤️❤️it!
Anyway it is fun to do and at times it is like a treasure hunt when you actually find things you love and sometime at a bargain to boot! One day we will get together some where... maybe in the middle if not here... but for sure when things slow down to a slower simmer and the bees are buzzing at a comfortable speed too... good things come to those who wait... right?
@@julie-joywilliams7280 yes! Once things level out and SIMPLIFY! 😊🙏❤️
I’m going to Cost Plus!!!
Make sure you give yourself a good hour or more because you’re gonna love that store! ❤️😂😊
Consider the BevLedge window cup holder. It really opens up more space if you have a window seat.
I’ve heard mixed reviews about that? Have you used it and do you really like it and are you able to close the window shade down with the cupholder on their?❤️🙏
@Theory of Simple
I have it and am awaiting the test run. It packs pretty flat, stays together easily, holds cups, phone, headsets well. Updates from the jury to come.
As to window down, I suspect my sleep mask or blublocker sunglasses will remedy any concerns.
@@696969bold yeah, I’m thinking for other passengers as well. Sometimes the light from my window may be irritating to someone and I wanna be able to shut the window for my neighbor, or for someone behind me. ❤️🙏
WOW! What a cool idea! Too bad that they are OOS for now.
Great stuff, I have never paid this much attention to Cost Plus food items. I like the mini bars (Good & Gather brand) and mini grass fed beef jerky (Archer brand) and I get both items at Target. I usually have a bar in my purse and the others I leave at my nail studio. I plan to get a mini fridge so I can put mini water bottles and mini chocolates for my clients. I need to find some of those mini cookies too. 😊 Thank you this was fun 🎉
Thank you! It is so fun to go there! Love that you are prepared! 😊
I went to Cost Plus today to look for some snacks and the wasabi salt. They didn't have the wasabi salt in stock unfortunately so I got some other wasabi seasoning mix. I found some Chai Tea mix for 30% off. 😊
Yeah, it seems like that wasabi sauce is sold out everywhere! It comes from Japan, so they might be having some logistics issues. Here is the link to Amazon to get that salt.😊amzn.to/43U3Tvr
@@TheoryofSimple Thank you
That other Wasabi seasoning that I mentioned is good, I tried it this morning on my eggs. Wasabi Furikake is the name of it. You probably already have it. 😊
@@lovemalika yep! I love that stuff on rice! I could eat bowls and bowls of it! ❤️😊🍚
Wish there was a store like this near me.
Hi Cynthia, I have a link in the video description to my Amazon storefront food section, and there are links to many of these things there that you could have them shipped right to your house! 🙏😊❤️
I have been in World Market dozens of times and never knew about those small sizes!
I’m so glad you got something out of the video so you can pack some great snacks for your next travel adventure😊
Thank you!
You are welcome!🙏❤️😊
I'm originally from NYC so I'm used to having a lot of ethnic foods around, and now I live in WV. I guess that's enough said. LOL I always find it fascinating note if you go to the grocery store and find something for $15.99, but then go to an ethnic store/section and the same thing is $3.99.
@@angieoconnell5411 sounds like I need a buckeye state road trip!
I could never say no to mochi either, what a great haul!
World Market, actually. The closest Daiso is almost 4,000 km away!!@@TheoryofSimple
@@jenharvey8360 oh! Sorry ! I confused this comment with one from an other video! World market is great! 🤷♀️🤪
Wow, that store had a HUGE selection. Unfortunately, I live in a more remote location and I do not have any stores like that. But your video gave me some great ideas. Keep them coming!
Thank you so much! That is why I put a link to my store in the description because many people don’t have a store like to hear them. I was able to find some great items on Amazon, so that you can start making your own little travel pantry.🙏😊❤️
Loved the video! You can never have too many snacks! I'm off to World Market (Cost Plus) tomorrow. Maybe it will be the day that you can fill up a bag up for $20! Haha!
Thank you, Wanda! If they have a day like that, I am going! 🤣😂❤️

Yes! Now some if the supermarkets carry a few snack / lunch size items! You need a good day away and stock up! 😊❤️

I love cost plus its the only place i can get my vanilla sugar for my waffle cookies. I was with on that one i could spend all day there.
Me too! I always spend 2 hours there! 😊❤️
On our last car trip, we stopped for gas and potty break, I discovered packaged pickles and some other healthier snacks. We had so much fun testing these new to us products. We do have a new market here, I need to go exploring! I loved the golden spoons and forks, what a nice addition to a bento box.
That is so wonderful that you discover those little snacks at a little gas station! Yes, sometimes they’re more expensive but when you don’t want to carry a large amount with you, you just need a little snack these work perfect! If you’re going to go to cost, plus you better give yourself 1 to 2 hours! It’s a great place even just to look around’🙏😊❤️

World Market has some interesting snacks
@@beezneez2056 yes! It’s one of my favorite places for travel snacks😊
@@jenharvey3397 if you find a great box to prevent mice, let me know! 🙏❤️
It sounds like a cheap place to shop. But Dollar Tree has lots of a variety small snack items. Everything from dried fruit, nuts, trail mix, candy.
