@@lukebonky3186 I just didn't get why he didn't play around his passive, a lot of the video is him not spawning tentacles on the wall, one time he kept fighting with just one tentacle and passive up and i wanted to scream, or when he E's with not even one tentacle up

@@shinji136 situational doesnt mean its coinflip. Illaoi is a situational pick and she needs to hit her e or she is off the charts until its back again which isnt makes her coinflip either cause there are A LOT of champs like this.

His main problem was inability or refusal to play around passive tentacle spawns like, at all lol, it’s like playing zyra and then ignoring her seed spawns xd
Thing is 1. His ability order is throwing me off. Q E W max but you start Q or W depending on matchup. 2. Illaoi pre six is damn near a cannon minion so him taking all these fights early are throwing me off. Early on I’m pretty sure you try and farm as safely as possible until six while talking trades with your E. But he was trying to fight early damn near every game. He was also ulting with no E out which is damn near pointless.

I'll never understand how can ppl play bad on this champ, but i'll also never understand how ppl lose to this shit either. Like, the whole lane is drawing a line from you to her then stepping at a 90° angle when you see her animations, you'll dodge most of her her Q's and her E's like this. If you have a dash you dash away when she ults. If you have range, she's worse than Darius at catching you. She can't have good games if you pick into her and if you picked first then it doesn't matter, but ppl STILL lose when counterpicking into illaoi, that's insane to me.
ye she's really just a tank destroyer more than anything. Most other champs should NOT have issues with her if played properly.
@@goldenarmour7975 even tanks just outvalue her. Sure you can never kill illaoi as a tank, but you can just go teamfight and be 30x as useful.

Illaoi is the most annoying stat check in the game, if you are mele she will beat you eventually, but that's it, she don't take towers fast, not great clear wave, terrible tf, low mobility. Or she rundown everyone by just tanking everything and stat checking or she is a minion
